Knowledgeable, reliable, honest, professional service providers. I am very comfortable accepting their suggestions on what services my car needs and on doing all maintenance and repairs. They are spot on! Using Danny s has extended the life of my high mileage car and saved me from experiencing breakdowns. Great people.

I trust Danny s with everything from my work trucks to my weekend car. They can handle anything, including performance cars. They installed the suspension on my mustang pictured, and got the alignment perfect. As well as set me up with some tires. I am very picky with who works on my vehicles, and I hate getting robbed at a dealership. Danny s does fantastic work for a great price

Beware of dishonest upselling. Our car was pulling hard to the right. Brought it in and in just a couple of minutes, they said there was an egg in the front right tire. They also said that ALL of the tires needed to be replaced which they estimated a cost of more than $1100.00. They charged us $50 for this inspection and opinion. We took the car to another shop they said only 1 tire needed to be replaced at a cost to us of only $125.00 for a complete fix. In my opinion, it was shady to charge us the $50 in the first place just to look at a tire for a couple minutes and then outright dishonest to say that we needed to spend over $1100 replacing all of our tires which were only 2 years old and barely driven on.Update: Brought the car to another mechanic who said the other tires did not need to be replaced. The other 3 tires still have a lot of tread left on them so he projected that they should last at least 2 more years. He replaced the busted tire for just a little over $100.

My wife's 2007 BMW 328xi was having engine problems so we had the car towed to Danny's Automotive to figure out what was needed. It was soon determined that the valve cover was bad and needed to be replaced, but during the process, it was later determined that the engine needed to be replaced as well. Rather than charging us for the valve cover and all of the labor associated, Jason admitted that the engine should have been checked upfront and, therefore, would waive all of the costs pertaining to the valve cover. Jason also provided us with recommendations on companies that purchase damaged and unusable vehicles and is allowing us to store the vehicle at their shop until we're able to find an offer on the car.Overall, if you're looking for an auto shop that is both fair and honest, with very reasonable pricing and a quick turnaround, I'd highly recommend Danny's Automotive in Mandeville. Their staff was really great to work with. Jason always went out of his way to accommodate our every request, always willing to help explain what was going on while providing us with an honest opinion or recommendation on what to do.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Brought my Mercedes-Benz Sprinter in for a tire rotation and alignment. They were very quick and have very competitive prices. They were one of the only places that could do the alignment on the Sprinter because of the size. I highly recommend Danny's!

You need more honesty out of your auto mechanic than you do your priest! I am lucky enough to have that at Danny s! I brought them my 78 Land Cruiser after another local shop changed me $1,600 and I still had no brakes. Jason at Danny s was great at communicating with me and getting the issue identified and resolved without over charging me.Don t go anywhere else especially Auto Mechanic on 59 in Mandeville!

I bought my Toyota 4Runner to Danny s after a recommendation. The problem was the fuel pump. I also had the check my brakes, the back brakes needed new rotors and the front brakes were close to the same as the back brakes. They put new rotors ect. I also need new spark plugs! I had a missing lug nut from another Company who snapped it off and they replaced that for me!Everything was done in a timely manner considering it s a low staffed company! Mr Steve was very patient with my constant calls and professional at all times! I Thank all of the Techs and Mr. Steve! I HIGHLY Recommend Danny s!Also, I would have been charged double the price at the dealership!!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Brakes, Brake service & repair

Brought my car to 3 other shops on the northshore. Each kept my car for longer than they said they would and charged me for diagnostic only to tell me they didn t know what was wrong. A friend recommended to go see Jason at Danny s Auto. Jason was honest and fair with me and returned my car repaired (FINALLY!) a day sooner than he originally quoted. Go to Danny's and see Jason. He's the owner now, and he's a straight dealing guy. He takes pride in his work, and he'll personally walk you through their findings. They've even remodeled their waiting room without pushing the cost onto the customer. In fact, I've found they're prices tend to be a lower on average. Go, you won't be disappointed.

My wife and I are traveling through town and needed our brakes checked out. Danny's was able to look at our vehicle the same day we called, tell us what was going on with the breaks, and make sure we can safely continue our cross country trip. They are honest, professional, and friendly - highly recommend this shop!

My company started doing business with Danny s here recently. They are knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. We have our work trucks as well as personal vehicles serviced here. The pricing is more than fair and turnaround time was excellent. I highly recommend these guys and won t be taking our vehicles any where else!!

So I brought my best friends suburban to be worked on because the brakes where going to the floor. So they call and sad the brakes had a lot of air in them and rear where out of adjustment so I came to pick up the bird and test drive to fine that they were 80% better but still slowly leaded Dow to the floor went and got service writer had him getting in vehicle and hold foot on break while in gear breaks slowly release and then the rider started making excuses on why it may be normal or it may not be there instead of manning up and admitting the vehicle was not fit now I have a truck I paid $400 bill on and it s not fixed because they wouldn t release it to me unless it was pay so now I have to get a lawyer and sue these dirty players to get my truck fixed I WILL NOT recommend DANNYS AUTOMOTIVE to anyone

Danny's Automotive has been my auto repair shop of choice for at least the last 7yrs. Always courteous, professional, & trustworthy with excellent automotive repair skills. My son's 2007 GMC truck was recently (Nov-2019) brought to them with intermitting fuel & starting issues, which is very hard to diagnose but Danny's was able to get the job done. We have had no problems since, excellent job! I would definitely recommend Danny's Automotive to others if work needs to be done to your vehicles, maintenance are repair. Good Job

I have a Mercedes Amg.I received a quote from the Mercedes Dealership for tires and brakes. Danny's used the same brand tires and the same brand brakes as the dealership. Danny's saved me $1,253.They have friendly service and do exceptional work. I will continue to use Danny's in the near future.

I was in Covington, La. at a Gas Station, when my Fuel System on my 2017 Ran 2500 6.7L Cummins was Contaminated. The closest Reputable Diesel Repair was Danny's Automotive. The fuel contamination required the Entire Fuel System to be Replaced. Everything from the High Pressure Fuel Pump, Injectors, Fuel Rails, Lines etc. Could not have done a better job that a Ram Dealership. If Quality and Job Done Right the First Time is your Priority, Jason LaBorde and Danny's Automotive is where you need to go!

They fixed my work truck that hade transmission problem with in A 48 hour got me back on the road it was very easy with them they even gave me a ride to my hotel without cost I will definitely use them again in the future for repairs %

I needed piston rings changed out and 2 pistons changed on a 351w. Raceing motor. They said they dont do that. Very profesional.Oh well.
