Had the best experience with the people at Carstar. They made everything very easy. They were familiar with my situation and handled things quickly, professionally and in a detailed manner. I was given up to date information on my vehicle until it was time to pick it up.I received my car back in better condition than how it was dropped off. A great experience dealing with Skip. Was very accommodating when receiving my truck for accident repair. Was kept informed of status of repairs at all times. A beautiful job was done on the repairs and truck looked good as new. I highly recommend CARSTAR Elite of Mandeville, LA.

Wow is all I can say! The first time I called, I had no idea how the process went getting your car repaired, if it was someone else's fault, because the rules change so often. Dana told me every single thing I needed to do and she said, "don't worry.. just talk to your adjuster, tell him where you want to get your car towed and we will get your car here one way or the other"... and then she even called the towing company for me, Perillioux Towing, so when I called, Ms Barbara knew exactly why I was calling.Even though one of the trucks was down, she knew exactly what questions to ask to confirm that Mr Perillioux could come out to me home to get my boyfriend's vehicle that needed to be repaired.I drefinitely recommend not only for the quality of the work but also for the amazing customer service all the way around. Now if I can just get the insurance company to be this easy, life would not be as stressful right now!

Not a fan. Won t use again. Pricing for repairs was absurd to the point where it seemed like they didn t want my business. No response from email request. Wasn t made aware of $200+ fee just to put together an initial quote but was made aware of much larger fee to put together a more detailed quote. Like I said, not a fan and would recommend looking elsewhere.

One never wants to have to use a vehicle collision repair business but if required I would definitely recommend Carstar Elite of Northshore! Excellent workmanship and very easy to deal with. Skip is very personable and easy going! My brand new car was hit from behind! I took it to Starcar Elite, it came highly recommended and also is a State Farm approved body shop. It is clean, service was EXCELLENT and the work was done in a very timely fashion. Some parts took a while to get in, but as soon as they arrived, they did the work and got my car back to me in perfect condition. I highly recommend them!!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Horrible customer service. Didn t even let me know that my car was ready, I wouldn t have known it was ready if I didn t call. Girl at front desk is useless when it comes to knowing or finding out anything about my vehicle. Wouldn t recommend this body shop to anyone.

My truck was sent to CARSTAR Elite following a collision with substantial damage to front left quadrant. They completed all repairs to the highest standard to include final calibration and quality assurance. They also kept me fully apprised of status of repairs throughout the process.I was most impressed by their timeliness, especially given the scarcity of parts.Would definitely recommend CARSTAR for future repairs.Service: Body & Trim

From the moment I walked in, the receptionist was inviting and offered me a beverage while I waited to be consulted about my repairs. Skip walked up a few minutes later and gave me a detailed rundown of what was going to happen. They called enterprise for me to be picked for my rental appt and even returned it for me when I picked up my vehicle. My SUV was returned looking brand new and it happened in less than 72 hours. It was the best experience I ve had with any body shop. They were professional, knowledgeable, and expeditious. What more could I ask for?!Service: Body & Trim

We had an a wonderful experience with CARSTAR Elite. From receiving a quote to receiving my repaired and detailed vehicle, these guys are first class. The price was reasonable and fair, but the quality of work was amazing. I received impressive service by their entire staff. I especially liked being updated on my car s status throughout the entire process.Having body work done on your car is never fun, but these guys exceeded my expectations. I will recommend them to everyone. 5/5 stars

Was greeted with a welcome sign at the front desk and an energetic and friendly receptionist- Jennifer- who offered us ice cold bottled water while they assessed my mother's large scratch down the entire side of her vehicle. We left it with them and hours later was called to say it was ready. We were amazed that it looked factory new with no sign of the damage! They also vacuumed interior and washed the entire exterior of the car! So much positive energy there- everyone was friendly and efficient!! Would recommend to all of my friends!!

When I walked in, I was greeted so warmly, and there was a personal sign of welcome for me!I was handed a bottle of chilled water!My car has some minor scratches down the left length. Within the day I dropped it off they called and had it ready to go. My car was restored to factory quality and was detailed inside and out.I would highly recommend these folks. There is no need to go anywhere else.

Great business! My situation was hard to work with, since I had to drop my car off on Friday morning and I needed it to be done by Monday morning. Unfortunately, it was not done Monday, but the owner made it so easy for me. He offered to drive me to pick my dog up and then drive me back home and he even brought my car to my house for me. I would absolutely use them again!

During the pandemic many body shops has a month wait before accepting new customers. I called CarStar Elite they welcomed me with prompt, professional service. Turn around time was fast and my repairs was fixed to new. The professionalism exceeded my expectations! Prestige Auto Body has a nice, new facility, but their poor quality controls coupled by what seems to be a complete lack of accountability by its manager, John, will prevent me from utilizing the establishment again.This is the second time I have used Prestige for a repair. My first experience was not entirely ideal and some of the workmanship was questionable, but I was satisfied overall. My most recent experience, however, was far from acceptable.When I arrived to retrieve my vehicle, I noticed two issues:1. A paint chip next to the area that was being repainted was not fixed; Prestige simply applied clear coat over the paint chip. I understand that also fixing the paint chip might have been a courtesy by the body shop, but in my experience with dealing with other repair shops, if they have to repaint the bumper or quarter panel, they fix everything not just gloss over issues with clear coat.2. The second issue was flakes of trash/debris/dirt that were under the freshly applied clear coat. This was obviously a mistake made by the body shop. When the issue was pointed out the manager, John, he tried to gloss over the situation. After I pulled up a photograph of the car pre-repair that clearly showed the debris wasn t there before, he stated well you wouldn t see that in a photograph . Complete BS! The first thing I thought of while talking to this guy is that he must have been a used car salesman at some point in his life. He eventually conceded and agreed to fix the issues. He actually offered to meet me at 7am with a rental car the following week so I wouldn t miss any additional work. However, the receptionist advised that the rental car company doesn t even open until 7:30am and informed me this wasn t possible. (Another empty promise made by this guy!) In the end I kept my rental car over the weekend at Prestige s expense so they can correct the repair today.This review would be much different had the manager simply accepted responsibility for the body shop s screw ups instead of skirting the issue. He made it seem like he d do me a favor by fixing the problem. I left that place fuming just a few days ago. As stated previously, I will not use the body shop again. I do not recommend that anyone use this shop. The facility looks shiny and new, but its management is obviously tarnished.

I cant speak highly enough of Prestige Auto Body. Everyone was so courteous and professional, and the work they did on our vehicle was second to none. If it was possible to give a sixth star I would and this is why. We were having issues with the insurance company of the other driver and their staff went above and beyond to help us get taken care of. If you are looking for a body shop that is just as concerned with customer service as they are quality workmanship, then this is your place!

Collision repair from car accidentWorst experience I have ever had with any business!!!!!! Skip is a nightmare to deal with. Estimate given was 17,800 and final bill was $24,249! I can t say enough good things about CarStar! The whole repair process on my car was a breeze thanks to Ashley. Ashley is very professional and honest, and went above and beyond to help me with my repair. CarStar even fixed an electrical issue I had been having that I didn t even bother to mention because 3 other shops could not figure out the root of the problem, so I had given up. CarStar fixed my electrical issue effortlessly and I didn t even have to ask, and the body work repair on my car is flawless. This place is a breath of fresh air, thank you CarStar!

Very professional and they guarantee their work for life. They fixed any issues I found immediately at no extra costs. Issues were minor things such as one of the brackets that holds on the front driver side reflector came off after driving for a few days. This was no fault of the company.
