I've taken my truck there several times over the years. They get the job done but every time I leave, there are 1 or 2 things that aren't quite right. Im a stickler. These range from not repainting spots on the frame they ground the paint off to use as a ground for welding, not installing gussets on rock guards (charging more later to install them when it shouldve been done under the original quote), not replacing bad spring hanger bushings that I had asked them to change($1300 to install leaf springs shocks and replace bushings), using quick splice connectors in places open to the elements (ended up causing brake lights and trailer lights to not work after around 6 months due to corrosion forming inside these connectors), welding the bumper to the frame instead of adding support to the mounting brackets to eliminate flexing. Long story short, they don't quite deliver the service they charge for. If you're capable of doing your own work but are just short on time, make the time. You'll spend thousands and should probably retrace their work and fix the small things. If you're not capable, then it'll be good enough.

Convenient having this here in Lake Charles but I do feel like a burden to them when I walk in every time. Bought a 2021 Outlander XMR 1000 from them. The guy that walked me through the Mandatory safety check list from can am talked to me more than anyone else. He seemed friendly but he s not who the main interactions are with. The owner is who sits up front and takes over after his other front staff start. None of them know how to smile or seem interested in your business, besides finance lady and checklist guy. I did order another part for the four wheeler and they got it in for me fast. I called about another that I had seen yesterday hanging on their wall to get price and to find out if it had hardware with it. The guy said he d have to double check. He sat in silence until I ask if he needed my number to call me back. He called back later and told me it didn t fit my XMR. It does fit my bike (can am heavy duty basket), I knew before I inquired about it, I was only asking about the hardware for linq system because it wasn t with the product on the wall.

These guys are my business neighbors, so I'm a little biased. Shelby and his crew are top notch. They just installed a limited slip differential for me this week, and as always, great work and great customer service!

Hurricane off road has worked on my last three trucks and they have shown nothing but the best service every time. They don t give you the run around on the price and it s usually fair with great work every time. I ve called around and used other shops before and have regretted it every time. Never have I questioned working with these guys. Always recommend.

Had a set of electric running boards put on my 2006 GMC 2500. Their price was pretty good and the installation was great. Kept me posted on the progress and ready when they said it would be. Very satisfied with product and service.

Terrible customer service. Please do not ever allow your young son to go in there alone. My son paid a good bit of money to have his truck done there, but left with issues that should have, and could have, been addressed BEFORE he picked his truck up. Now instead, because of the professionals that we brought it to did not explain things that should have been added to correct the issues he is having was never done, we will now be paying another company to complete. I will not pay Hurricane off road another penny to touch his truck. Totally sad that they seen this young kid coming and completely took advantage of him. Never again. Customer service is key in a business and I completely feel that they are lacking it. I m sure my son will be a little smarter next time and read reviews, before just handing over his hard earned money.Lesson learned.

Bought new tires for my 2013 Ford F250 and a year later all my valve stems or dry rotten. I thought the valves stems were replaced with the new tires since my truck is a 2013. Nope, not their policy to replace valve stems so now they want to charge me $25 per tire to have them replaced, which I would have gladly paid when I bought the new tires. Very disappointed because over the years I have bought many different products from them. They lost a loyal customer over a silly policy.

Great experience and they took the time to personally look at the truck talk to me and understand what I wanted different from what I had. And they put together all the pieces to make that happen. I couldn t be any happier with the finished product. The truck rides and handles better than it did new and the bill was more than fair. Thanks again.

I ve used HOR for UTV wheels, tires and suspension, fuel cans and other parts. Great, personal quality service each time. Highly recommend these guys!

so I call and ask if they have a product. they said yeah and gave me a price and tell me if I come down they can put it on in an hour or so. so I take off work the next day and drive down. At first the front desk tells me they sold the part. no big deal. But after talking to him about it he tells me they do have it... so he lied... he then get really iffy about installing it and when I tell him I drove an hour and a half down and took off work to get it installed today he tells me "oh we can't today, we are booked you can come back tomorrow" so I wasted. 65 miles worth of gas. 3 hours of my time. and took off work for nothing. horrible customer service.

Multiple terrible experiences. They failed at every facet of the customer service experience. We now travel 3 hours to deal with another dealer when this place is 2 miles from my house. They quoted the price of the new bike 4k higher than other dealership. Then, when you bring bike to them to make repairs they treat you like complete trash because " you didn't buy the bike from them " They said repairs would be done on certain day, never received any calls from them while they had the bike for 2 weeks, then we HAD TO CALL THEM just to find out that they made ZERO progress on any repairs for the bike. They also found a part on facebook, added $200 to the cost and tried to sell it to me and make it sound like they were getting me " a deal ". When you walk in the store they are always on the phone and you have to stand around forever just to get any help. The girl that answers the phone has no knowledge whatsoever and can never answer any of your questions, she says someone else will call you back and DAYS go by without ever getting a call back. ABSOLOUTELY TERRIBLE customer service. STAY AWAY!!

We have bought 2 different rigs from this place..and i have had these guys delete and tune my F250.... they faild to mention breaking my windshield wiper fluid dispenser while working under the hood....overall buying experience was great. But when it comes to customer service they are SERIOUSLY slacking. It took 2 weeks to install a wench and roof on a maverick x3. We bought a renegade xmr, took it out for a ride.. wench james and rear axel breaks frirst time out. Its going on two weeks now and they haven't fixed it. Haven't called me back or sent tracking info on parts like they said they would. Definitely will be going elsewhere for future purchases and service.

I have made some pretty big changes to my rig since starting this build over 10 years ago. The last upgrade was differentials, struts, and hydraulic steering. Lot of little things have to happen to make this work. Hurricane Offroad made this happen with skill and expertise that can't be matched. If you want it done right, this is the place.

Looking for Jeep Experts? Hurricane Off-road is the place you need to go. I have a 2006 Jeep TJ and they have done some amazing work on suspension bushings and steering linkages. I still have a ways to go and I can assure you Shelby and Kenny are very knowledgeable when it comes to off road vehicles especially Jeeps......New and Old. The entire staff are always courteous and willing to help as soon as you walk through the door.

less than advantage shop, more pushing parts than actual service..if you want to spend a lot of money and not have any after purchase support, this is the place. truck out of commission for over a month due to this shop.

I brought my side by side in to get everything checked out and when I dropped it off they said it would be a couple weeks that they would call me the next morning with a price quote and a better time frame then I had to call the next day to get a answer that he won t even look at it for another 3 weeks to be able to tell me anything and if I didn t like it for me to go pick up my side by side.

I called to have a hide-a-way FOLD DOWN gooseneck hitch installed and made the appointment. I dropped my truck off and they installed it but they installed the wrong gooseneck hitch so i told the people that work there what i did wanted and that they put the wrong hitch in my truck and all they said was sorry and that if i want to replace it with the one i wanted in the first place that i would need to make another appoitment to get that one taken out and for the other one to be installed and THAT I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR THEM TO TAKE OUT THE WRONG HITCH AND FOR THEM TO PUT IN THE RIGHT ONE I WILL NEVER USE THAT PLACE AGAIN
