The trip was amazing. Easy pick up near our hotel. We took the premium small airboat tour and we got deep into the swamp and saw so much! Cory was an excellent guide and made sure we had lots of fantastic photo ops. Highly recommend!

Had a great time with our group of 8 guided by Captain Steve. He took us to some great spots, one of them had 8 gators. Beautiful scenery & comfortable ride. Life jackets & headphones provided but not mandatory, which was nice. Our boat had a motor problem but they quickly brought another boat and the switch over was seamless & we all made a good time out of it!! Great fun!

Absolutely amazing!! My husband and I are here from Tennessee and went for our anniversary! Ramon was a GREAT Captain! Very knowledgeable and friendly! The young lady taking the pictures and the lady at the drink area were very sweet also! Thank you for helping us have a great 13 year anniversary! So glad we chose you all to spend our morning with!

Pick up was a bit delayed and we had to switch buses along the way but once we finally got going our driver, Barbara was a great conversationalist. She was native to LA and provided a lot of background information on NOLA. Our boat guide, Kenny was funny and very knowledgeable of the swamp and all living things surrounding it. Overall it was a great experience!

We saw tons of wildlife and gators. Boat operator knew the land, history, and geography of the area. Learned a lot and plan this for a beautiful weather day if you can - huge difference (sounded like evenings are not so fun with mosquitoes .. we had 65 and sunny in the morning, no bugs - perfect for enjoying the whole trip. Great margaritas at the beginning and discounted on the return. Would certainly do again!

We saw lots of alligators. The smallest was a tiny baby. The biggest was 11-12 ft long. We saw other wildlife too! It was beautiful out there. Our captain was GREAT! Can t go wrong here.

This is a low priced tour, and it was well worth it.Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer everyone's questions. He's clearly very passionate about his career and it shows. He really made the tour fun and engaging. He put on an amazing interaction show with "Bubbles" and left an impressionable stamp of information regarding the eco system and the ins and outs of working with alligators. The water tour was visually beautiful and so fun to take pictures and experience.I would highly recommend this tour.

Visited the Airboat Adventures as part of a trip to New Orleans.Very simple to organise, setup and arrange this tour. We got on at the steam Dock pier and took a short bus ride (around 30 mins) to the lakes.During the bus ride we had a good, detailed audio description of what the local area offered, history and also what we were planning to do etc.We arrived at the swamp lakes and all of the staff were friendly, kind and took time to enjoy a joke or two and answered all if the questions we had.The tour itself was very well laid out, easy to navigate and no hassle at all. We had one of the bigger boats which was very safe and less noise then the smaller vessels. The captain was a very funny, kind and friendly skipper. I can't remember his name unfortunately due to being jet lagged but he was AWESOME.We managed to see quote abit of wildlife and nature on the river and in the swamps. It is such a cool experience to see alligators that close up. We saw some variety of different sized gators.Overall, the experience was very good and would recommend anyone to do this. Thanks for lasting memories!

Today was incredible! My husband, friends, and I embarked on a swamp tour with Airboat Adventures, and it was the highlight of my NOLA trip. Our captain, Ramon, was phenomenal! He provided detailed explanations about the swamps, alligators, trees, birds literally everything. I can't wait to revisit with my parents!

Was a lot of fun just zooming around so the many gators we spotted was icing on the cake! Also saw a bunch of other interesting animals, birds. Driver was great, had a wonderful thick Louisiana accent...didn't always understand him but loved it haha. I really recommend it. I took the smaller boat with less people, think it made viewing, taking photos easier but don't think it's any less fun on a bigger boat with more people (costs less).

Mark was AWESOME! Very informative, easy going and knowledgeable! We got to see multiple wildlife, not just gators. Great experience! ( this was 2/3 second visit ) Airboat Adventures is absolutely the best. Oh and I got to sit in the captains chair so that was a super neat experience!

We went in February, so the wild life wasn't very active. Although I wasn't expecting to see much, we were fortunate enough to see three alligators. The scenery was beautiful, and the boat ride was peaceful. My only critique would be the lack of customer service skills from the boating crew. I would like to point out that while I was booking the swamp tour over the phone, the booking agent was very kind and accommodating.

This was an amazing airboat tour. We did the small boat with Stevie. The Gators and turtles are everywhere. Big ones and small ones. Our biggest was 12 foot according to guide and believe me it was a BIG One. We also saw an eagle and nest. Such a treat.Do not miss this experience in New Orleans.

felt very touristy i wish we saw more than just gators, did not sit well with us that they feed them marshmallows, nature really never intended for this ancient creatures to snack on mass produced gelatin products. our guide was awesome and chain smoking cigs and drinking coka cola the whole time, he was really knowledgeable and knew all the good spots. going in the late afternoon was nice too, the sun was hitting the bayou just right. loved that you could bring your frozen pina coladas and daiquiris right into the boat. the smaller boats are more expensive but worth it

What a fun fun day! Pick up was super timely. The boat ride was so fun. We saw lots of alligators and birds and turtles. The bayou and the marsh are just beautiful. Our driver was super informative too. We were lucky with him!!! I don't tenderness his name, but we were in boat#4. So glad we booked the smaller airboat for 10 ppl.

Myself and my friends had a wonderful time on this tour! Our guide Captain Mark O Connell did a fantastic job commentating on our tour and handling the rude comments from other guests . We got to see at LEAST 15 Alligators!! They swam right up to the boat and there was an opportunity to feed them as well - if you dare! Overall, well worth the money we paid and we had a great time.

I really enjoyed our trip on the airboat. I wish it was a little warmer but that's not in our hands. Our guide was great in explaining things throughout our hour+ ride. The cold weather didn't let too many gators out either. I happened to see only one on the banks of the swamp.Enjoyed seeing over a dozen varieties of birds on the waters. Sure to return on a better day again. The loss of a star is for parking. Parking is tough if you are coming in for a 2PM ride. Maybe the business needs to consider a little more gap between the tours to ease the parking issues.

Our guide was TicTok. He was very informative, saw lots of gators and wild life. Plus got to feed a raccoon. Highly recommend a small airboat ride. Bring sunglasses and sunscreen.

Great adventure overall. Hotel pick up option was worth the cost for us. Efficient boarding process. Our captain (Brad? Todd?) was awesome. Very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna and seemed to really care about the environmental importance of the swamp structure. As some others have mentioned, it would be great to see this same care extended to the gator on display in the building. Maybe it can t be released to the wild but didn t seem to be necessary since there are lots of gators on the tour. While catering to tourists, these outfitters have an opportunity to promote conservation as well. Thanks for a great experience overall!

Captain Ramona was fantastic! We had a group of four parents and six children between 9 and 13 years old. He engaged at every level - from my 9 year old s question about snakes to details about the wildlife and the history to random questions about how long it takes for a bald eagle to build a nest. I would definitely recommend this adventure. We went in the 9:45 am tour and we couldn t have asked for better weather. Thank you for starting our day off in such a pleasant way!P.S. Kids got to throw marshmallows in to feed the alligators. Pretty cool reason to use marshmallows - ask your guide why!

LOVED IT! Booked this tour while walking in a very busy French Quarter (do not recommend) and their customer service was great. We were initially booked on a different boat but they called back saying it was full and they bumped us to a more expensive ride at no extra cost to us. Checking in at the dock was flawless and the boat ride itself was AMAZING. We saw so many gators up close and it was great to learn a bit more about the swamp. The airboat is definitely worth the price. Also, I get boat sick and it was not an issue at all. Highlight of our NOLA experience- 10/10!

The scenery was fantastic, and the alligators were ready to show off for us. The ride is loud, of course, and if you have a problem with vibrations, this may give you trouble, but you may decide it's worth it.

We had an amazing ride! Booked the small airboat so just 5 of us passengers went together. The weather started off cloudy but the sun came out in the end, we seen plenty of gators and birds and even a racoon! Loved it and if we came back around these parts I'd happily go again!!

This place is awesome - excellent drivers, friendly staff, comfortable transportation and amazing location. A truly authentic and exciting experience. We had so much fun and learned a lot as well. Pick the smaller fan boat if you want an up close and personal experience.
