This TA will have you pull in then wait for over an hour with no communication just outside the bay with 3 technicians on duty, one doing an oil change, one on the phone, and the other nowhere to be found until he slowly meandered down the stairs after 45 minutesVery poor service and negligible tact

This place and many like it are thieves... I got my truck in the shop to get shocks, the tech took off old ones and they then concluded that they didn't have the parts. Now they want me to pay for labor!!! Absolutely ridiculous, I don't understand how they weren't able to know they didn't have the part prior to beginning the job. This is how people get hurtService: Steering & suspension repair

I moved to Lafayette La because they have a truck stop. My husband drive over the road and I moved from a very small town that didn't have any truck stops. I love it here in Lafayette La and I come to TA weekly. The parking lot is very big and the employees and very friendly. They greet the customer and will help you with anything they can. The bathroom are very clean. Good food as well.

Truck drivers wait hours to get a tire replace. The most recent case, driver checked in at 8am and not even at 3pm his truck tires were replaced as instructed. Several calls were done to obtain updates, however the false expectation for service increased. I DO NOT recommend this TA TRUCK SERVICE to anyone.

Sad I can't put less than one star. I called when I was two hours away. Told me wait time was two and a half hours but would put me on the list. I got here two hours later and sat almost an hour and a half later. The guy that I was waiting on came in at 8:30 to get a wheel seal replaced. He finally left at 1:30. Told me it would take less than an hour to replace brake can. Here we sit two and a half hours later and still working. Maybe if you didn't smoke every twenty minutes, you'd be done! Avoid at all costs.

Love this place great people and great Boston market home cooked meals. No harassment for parking over night to get rest from long travels. Nice showers and laundry room all affordable too. I really like TA

Finally left after service techs left me hanging (in order to smoke etc) for an hour. We checked in and were instructed to pull in front of the bay. There were no trucks in the bays and no service techs to be seen. Waited 45 minutes and asked twice if anyone was available to work on it today. The first time the cashier shrugged. Second time, she said she'll get the manager. I finally saw some service techs wander by. I waved to them. They then appeared to go on a smoke break with the cashier. Waited a few more minutes totaling 1 hour just to figure out what was going on. All I needed was someone to come say "I'll be right with you in xxx amount of time." Instead, everyone either ignored me or gave a vague answer. Decided to leave.

Really they need to have something that's says 1/2 star! Got written for simple oil change. 3hr wait i understand that but after being there 4 hrs i was giving a door. Filter and oil thats it.....why that should take 2 more hrs? Well because the tech trying to do 3 jobs at 1 time. He do something on my truck for little while and go work in another bay. SMH!

Tried three pumps to get fuel went inside was told to let it sit for 20 seconds then try I did that still didn t work went back inside they we re sitting down talking I told them it didn t work they replied must no have no diesel. Could of got up and show some concern or try to troubleshoot situation instead of being lazy never going back again

Do not go there for Thanksgiving Dinner , all u get is 99cent stove top stuffing, 99Cent instant potatoes, dry roll and a few prices of turkey, it isn't enough for a 3 yr old , bad tasting as well, I would have gave them a zero but it isn't on the chart

So, I called to get in an "appointment" for a PM at 1800, I arrived and checked in at 1450, I say that I called at 0724 and someone took my info down, apparently not, she says im not in the system, no worries you are next, right after the truck that is about to go in, maybe 1hr wait, not so, waited 2hr10m, I get a call to pull in front of bay 3, sat out in the hot sun for 1hr45m, I get in the bay, 20 mins go by and no work yet, finally he installs an oil filter and does something under the truck, i hear a pump of some kind, he then disappears, gone now for 30mins???????......still waiting!!!!!!........UPDATE: apparently this particular location isn't set up to know how to change "something" in a 2015 Freightliner Cascadia Evolution.....be warned!!!!!......be nice if they keep drivers informed on what's going on and the reason for the delay!!!!!!

Two great choices of food for truckers - Boston Market and Whataburger! Chicken pot pie and the sweet corn bread at Boston Market is recommended.

Friendly service at the service shop but need to pay more attention to there mechanics they require more training
