Always fast, kind and courteous, and priced very fairly. Was quoted $170 in opelousas for synthetic blend in my F-150, and Gardners got it done for $77. I barely had time to go inside and sit down to scroll Facebook before they were finished. They also did my vehicle inspection, and check tire pressure if I have a light on. Good people!

Sent my son to have an oil change here. Have been coming here for years. Got home several hours later there's an oil leak. Called to say that he was on his way please stay. He has a Dr appointment in New Orleans in 3 hours for his 10th surgery. No help nor sympathy...I will not be coming back to this place based on this one experience....1 terrible experience supercedes all others. Spoke to the owner himself no apology.Did not feel valued. I will take my business elsewhere

I went there to get a second opinion and it turned out previous mechanic dishonest play Jack Gardner's took care of the problem. I take my truck, my wife's car, my daughter's car, and now I'm bringing my mom's car. The employees are all top-notch, professional, courteous, extremely knowledgeable, and quick.

They forgot to put oil in my car (2021 chevrolet traverse, less than 20k miles) and played it off as if it was a bad filter. As I was getting into my car, the dash said low oil pressure, add oil and it sounded like an idling 18 wheeler. When I brought it to the techs attention, he immediately freaked out and said to himself, but out loud, oh my god did I not put oil in it!? . The owner Michael Gardner sprinted to my car, threw it in drive and drove it back around to the bay. There was a small puddle of fresh (but old) oil on the concrete right under where my car was idling. When he got out of my car, he never said a word, like it was a daily occurrence at this place. I walked back in the waiting room. When it was ready (for the second time), I walked out and told Michael they obviously forgot to put oil in my car, he said oh no, it was a bad oil filter, there was two gaskets on it and it was causing air to get in - I asked him to document that he drove my car with no oil in it. He wrote down some chicken scratch. I said that wasn t good enough, and I asked him again to document that he drove my car with no oil in it. He continued to blame it on the filter / gasket. As he was pecking away at his keyboard to give me a paper saying what happened, the tech yells out I m so sorry several times. Why would he apologize so profusely if it was just a bad filter!? I said did you just forget to put oil in it? And as he was going to answer, the owner cut him off and repeated the same story about the filter. I told him that I m not an idiot, and that small amount of oil on the ground wouldn t cause low oil pressure or the knocking sound. There was clearly NO OIL IN MY CAR!!!Before submitting this review I asked two other mechanics (one at a local dealership and another that owns his own shop an hour from here) and both said the exact same thing: if it was the gasket, there would have been way more oil on the ground. They clearly forgot to put oil in it. Also, the girl working the counter needs to find a new job cause she is about a friendly as a box of rocks. Walking around in her slipper shoes with her bad attitude is extremely unprofessional. But when the owner can care less about his customers, I can only assume he can care less about who he has taking care of his customers (or lack there of). I did get a refund after asking for one, although I shouldn t have had to ask.

I have changed my oil here for the last 20 years, recently developed a leak after a oil change, took my car to my mechanic to be told the oil filter housing was cracked a sign of over tightening the oil filter, I called and the owner told oh that s a Jeep issue, a dealership will fix it for free, we llMind you I took it to a mechanic to be fixed by this point. Took no accountability for wrong doing at all just n told meWhat he said and that was that. No im sorry nothing. Will never go back. Sorry but you don t do that to loyal customers who have supported your business for 20+years we are the people who keep you in business.

This business is top shelf all the way. From the polite and professional folks in the front to the fellas in the back. This is the reason why I only trust Jack Gardner's with my truck, wife's car, daughters car, work van, add my pride and joy my boat.! Don't bother with the rest go to the best and that truly is Jack Gardner's 10 minute oil change.Services: Tires, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Battery, Oil change

As of a week ago today, I came here to get an oil change and the mechanic broke my window! None of my windows roll down, and I tried to tell him that before he started to roll down my driver side window, everything just happened too fast and he opened my door and stuck his hand in before I could finish my sentence. Once he did that I had a feeling it was cracked. He proceeded to tell me he could put my window back in place, even though he did my window had a huge spider web crack from it falling inside the door. I asked him if a manager could handle this but then he told me there was nothing they could do and that I needed to fix it when I got home . I was so angry I left because I wasn t getting anywhere with this guy, so I called them back as soon as I got home and asked to speak to the manager. I spoke to someone who sounded concerned about the situation but has yet to do anything to redeem his company and the stress they ve put me through. He told me he would return my call and to no avail, I ve heard nothing. I ve been calling them back consistently since this happened, and like I said still nothing. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I guess now I have to handle this situation a different way.Service: Oil change

Came in for an oil change and upon completion I noticed a loud disturbing noise coming from under my hood when I left. The noise became louder as I accelerated. I pulled over at a nearby store and raised my hood and immediately noticed the oil filler cap was missing. I called Jack Gardners as I drove back and was told to come back and that they would "try" to find my oil filler cap. Pulled up and asked one of the employees to please get the owner. The owner comes out, barely greets me as he nonchalantly accessed the issue. Looks at me after fixing the problem and rudely asks "so what exactly do you want a refund or something"? I did not want my $51 back but acknowledging me as a customer in a respectful way would have been nice. The unconcerned look on his face was so upsetting. Up until that day I was a faithful customer but I will NEVER return!!!Service: Oil change

Went for my inspection sticker and it was quick as can be. One guy checked out the car while another went inside and filled out my information. I wish more places got things done like that.

I got my oil changed yesterday in 10 minutes for a great price! I am new to the area. My siblings highly recommended Jack Gardner's. I found the staff to be friendly and professional. The service provided was a good value. I was surprised by the reviews. I will continue to use this businesses services!

Like the sign says 10 minutes, I kid you not! Oh and the staff that really runs this joint are very pleasant ... just say "Hi" and you'll see what I mean! Super polite and enjoyable to visit with each time I go by. Oh and if you get synthetic oil changes, like we do, you get a FREE quality car wash next door!

Brought my car in to have the oil changed and there was a grating that the bottom of my car got stuck on. The owner had to use a pry-bar to get my car unstuck. I asked if it caused damage and he said no. I went to another shop and had them check for damage. There is considerable damage to the undercarriage of the car. I went back to speak with the owner and he said it is my fault because it s an older car.. it s a 2018 with 20k miles. I showed him the photos of the damage and he said it would not effect the cars ability to drive and yelled at me aggressively and told me to leave his shop.Service: Oil change

Expensive but worth every penny. The attention to detail is very important to them and you can tell. They change oil very quickly and the car wash service is very thorough. My car looks brand new every time I come. Treat your car to a spa day. Don't forget to bring some cash for a tip.

BEWARE- they do not change your oil filter. They charge you for it, but do not change it. SCAM. I found out when I used a different oil change place and I witnessed the attendant try to get my filter out. Solid gunk. Back in 2016 a friend of mine brought her Volkswagen van in for an oil change at Jack Gardner s. Not only did they break apart of the engine but they filled up the cylinders with oil and then took the spark plugs out and sprayed oil all over the interior of the vehicle. She had to have it repaired and cleaned and they basically left her off and did not pay back a dime of the cost. They still have not paid two years later and when I called they pretty much did the same thing. I do not recommend ever getting anything done at this facility. If anyone there reads this and would care to make good on what you owe Elizabeth Walker feel free.

Great food when you can get your pder right. Always a hit and miss. Last night I ordered a grand Turkey club that has bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheese, cold Turkey not hot and I was given a whole different sandwich. When we arrived, no one was in the front. Once you order, your food always sits at the counter for minutes before they realize your food is up there and you always have to tell them it's up there cause they dont pay attention. Very slow location. Very inattentive employees. Awesome food though. Sorry for the not so good review but I have to be honest and I am upset with my service lately.

Had a nephew in town for a visit he needed to get home had a nail and screw in his tire. After a call to Gardners they took him in right away. Thanks for the quick service. I use Gardners for my inspection quick service.

I have used Jack Gardner's for oil changes and car washes for more than 25 years now. They are honest and do a fabulous car wash, not like these new flashy places where you drive your car thru, these people not only wash your car but clean the inside and vacuum all for the same price if not less than those other places. Would not go anywhere else.

Went to get my husband s oil changed on his diesel Sierra, I also wanted to surprise him with a wash. With the oil change the wash was only $10 and was a great job. I was very pleased with the service all around!

I'll give them a 5, I actually went there for a car inspection. Was about 10mins or so, they did everything for you. Only thing I didn't like was leaving my car on with the driver door open near the road. Anyone could have hopped in and stolen the car. But, most places do this so, can't really ding a star for that.

My experience there has been nothing short of extraordinary. I get my oil changes for personal / work vehicles done there and tire sales / repair aswell .Their knowledge and expertise exceeds any other shop and I'll be a customer for life. Take your car to the best and don't waste your time with the rest.

They put oil in my exhaust chamber then tried to cover up their mistake. They cost me $500 dollars in damages and still have not paid me. They are not calling me back. They act as though I made the mistake. I was a customer and they messed up my car, broke my car. I had to order a new part and have it put in. Still no money from them! Watch out!!! They might act nice, but will they take car of their mess ups? I have yet to see any restitution.

Will never trust them again. Had oil change and inspection with a wash. Horrible service. Had to go back to have oil filter changed oil leaking everywhere. Wash job was not good at all. Windows not even whipped armor all everywhere. Lost trust in the place.

Horrible service and got nothing but lies. Went in for a simple oil change, asked for 020W full synthetic. We watched as they put in 520W regular motor oil. When we asked them about it they said they did put in 020W. We asked to see an empty bottle and the old windshield sticker. As soon as I asked, they brought the trash can to the dumpster and said they didn't have it anymore and had no more in stock. We went and checked the dumpster and there was only 520W. We also pointed out that the new sticker and paperwork all read 520W. They claimed they couldn't change them to reflect the correct oil weight and synthetic. We finally got them to put the right oil in but had to watch them do it. Then they tried to double charge us even though they had blatantly disregarded what oil we said to put in and we caught them in the lie. We never received an apology or any recognition of their mistake. They make no effort to make it right and I will never be going there again!
