Josh was honest ( a rare trait in salesmen), not pushy at all (another rare trait) , knowledgeable about the vehicles and worked quickly and efficiently to help me get what I needed. I will recommend to any of my friends or family to buy a vehicle from Hampton - used or new . I LOVE my outlander !

He is a seller WILBERT CHACON who has a great capacity to know how to understand and help in the purchase of my vehicle, I would choose him many times if it is possible to do so. He has all the qualities of customer service, he does his job with love, I hope and above all he puts the name of the dealership on high. Congratulations Wilbert I give you 5 stars out of five.

This was the worst car buying experience I have ever been involved in. The salesman Todd was very unprofessional and profiled my child because of her race. We went into the branch with our own financing and Todd treated us like we had no knowledge or funding. He assumed because my child was of color that she could not afford a warranty and never offered it. We had to ask for warranty. Once we finally worked out a deal that would fall within the lines of our financing he went behind our backs and told the financing manager an amount that was outside of our approval amount. We were still willing to work the deal even though it was outside of the original numbers we discussed. We signed and left the dealership with the vehicle. The following week we kept getting harassed because the deal was actually not processed when we left the dealership due to them not following the directions on the check from our personal bank. Had the directions on the check been followed, we would have known this information before even leaving the dealership on the original evening. My child has a full time job so they allowed her to come in when she was off to resign the paperwork. So she stayed in a car for 3 weeks that actually had not belonged to her due to their error. We made it back to the dealership in the car that we had a contract signed for and they tried making us blindly sign a new contract which no longer had a warranty. We are not comfortable with a teenager driving around in a 12 year old vehicle without a warranty. Not only had Hampton removed the warranty they now wanted us to come out of pocket $300. We did not want to come out of pocket because we were approved for financing from our bank. We were then sent me back to Todd to look at other vehicles. When we got to Todd he kept making comments about us not being able to afford the $300 out of pocket. Because we are people of color he assumes we cant pay $300. We are a successful family and $300 is no problem. We are just not comfortable paying out of pocket for that vehicle when we have financing. As Todd continues to make degrading comments we asked the manager of we could get a new salesman. Todd says It ain t gonna happen The only reason we didn t leave at that moment was because my child has to get back and forth to work. Luckily, the manager gave us to the salesman Dallas(which was the only good thing to happen out of the whole situation. Dallas was professional and understanding to the error that had occurred.) In the end we still had to leave the dealership without a vehicle all due to several errors that were made on their part. I would not recommend at all.

Horrible Experience! My husband and I drove from Shreveport to buy a vehicle, had already been approved and been to our bank to get the money for the vehicle. Called the Sales person when we left Shreveport (3 hr. drive) told him we had the check from our bank, had already called and got the insurance on the vehicle and we were on our way. Sales guy stated he would have vehicle cleaned and detailed and all paperwork ready before we got there. We arrived at 2:20 pm and NOTHING was done... the vehicle was still dirty he had NO paperwork ready. We had to wait 2 hours for the finance manager to show up and get us into his office to sign papers. We didn't leave there until after 5:00 pm and that's with us letting them know 3 hours in advance we had the money and were on our way. And we still had a 3 hour drive back. (Also to note... we were sat in a waiting area to wait for the Finance person to call us) He wasn't even there. There was no one waiting in the area with us ... and after about 30 minutes of sitting the Finance person walks past us with food and to his office, turns on the light and proceeds to eat his food) I am all for someone having lunch.. I work for Children and Family Services and try to be as understanding and patient as possible but the fact that we still had to wait an hour after he arrived was infuriating. WILL NOT GO BACK, if I can help it.

I bought a low mileage used car from Hampton Toyota yesterday, and it was one of the more pleasant car buying experiences that I've had. The salesperson was easy to work with and very helpful. The finance manager wasn't pushy with trying to sell add ons and warranty. He offered extras that he is required to and didn't push back when I declined.

I went to Hampton to service my Camry. While waiting I decided to look at the new 4Runners. Donnie gave me a tour of the lot. He sold us our Tacoma a few years ago and we really like dealing with him. He makes it easy. Now I own a beautiful 2024 4Runner Limited and I love it! Great job, Donnie!

Writing this 4 months after buying my very first car from here!-The day after I bought my car and took it home, the salesman (Donnie Davis) calls me and tells me I have to bring it back because the bank didn t approve me. I still to this day don t understand why he would let me take the car home if the bank never approved me!!! I was humiliated and an emotional wreck that whole day due to me just moving to lafayette with no family and asking my coworker to pick me up!It took my boss calling the bank and convincing them to let me keep it for them to do so. Salesman did not have a care in the world about how much damage and stress he caused.-2 months after buying my car, I find out one of my doors has the rubber seal DUCK TAPED on!!!! I went to vacuum my back seat and after opening my door, I was hit in the face with the duck taped seal almost completely hanging off. Despite the warranty I pay an extra $50 a month for, they wanted me to pay $200 to fix it. (My car is a 2018, not an old piece of junk.)-Now, 4 months after buying my car, Im due for an oil change. I had to call 5 TIMES over 2 days just for them to finally tell me 1) $25 for labor and 2) they don t know and just cannot tell me how much the parts are. They absolutely have no clue how much the oil and filter will cost. I have to schedule an appointment if i want to get the price (after they already change it).This place has been such a headache trying to work with. They do not care about you as a person at all, you re just another sale for them. This was my first car ever, bought completely by myself at the age of 19. Worked my butt off for months to put down $6000 cash. They don t care though. Again, I was just another sale. After leaving this review, Im sure it ll be overlooked with still no care in the world. Because at the end of the day, they made their money and that s all they care about!

I'll be mocked for this review, and that's OK to some extent.Rather than write an entire new review I'll just post the content of an email that I sent to Mr. Hampton, the sales manager, and her "boss." I've redacted my last name and the vehicle's VIN number. They sold me a used vehicle that had been wrecked twice. Let the buyer beware. It's been three days with no response and being an adult, I don't believe I'll get one. You should know I've read many positive reviews here about how friendly and honest and courteous the salespeople are. I can assure you that mine was as well.Dear Mr. Hampton, et. al.,I wanted to contact you and let you know that I have concerns about a used 2014 Chevrolet Traverse that I purchased from your dealership almost five years ago on 4/25/19.I was told it was a 2015 at the time of sale, but as it turned out it is a 2014 model.As I was attempting to trade it in earlier today at a different dealership a Carfax was generated that indicated a moderate to severe accident occurred and was reported on 03/15/2016 and that a separate accident described as minor (a sideswipe) was reported to Carfax on 02/23/18. These accidents occurred 37 months and 14 months before I purchased the vehicle per Carfax.When I asked the salesman about the Carfax, as you might well imagine that I did, I was told the Carfax was clean and not provided with a copy of it.Over the years past I ve purchased three new vehicles from you, and I encouraged my son to buy a Tacoma from you, which he did.I will spare you most of my wide range of emotions right now and simply say that I feel betrayed.To the extent that this has cost me money upon an attempted trade-in at another dealership, I would like to know if there is some way to resolve this matter amicably.Thank you,redacted nameredacted phoneredacted emailVIN: Redacted

My experience at Hampton Toyota was amazing. Car shopping/buying can take a long timeee, but with Josh bouillon it was easy and quick. The only con I would say is the service department is not the best right now and I definitely feel like my car could have been cleaner .

Went look at a Toyota Hylander with Alyssa. She explained everything thoroughly and was very attentive to detail! I couldn't have asked for anyone better to assist me. She was very knowledgeable and worked with me as much as she could. Definitely recommend looking at what Alyssa and her team have to offer at Hampton Toyota!

We had the worst experience getting our vehicle serviced at Hampton Toyota. I always try to go to the dealerships when servicing our vehicles, because you would believe they are a little bit more trained with your model of vehicle. We brought my wife s Highlander for a scheduled oil change and tire rotation on a Friday morning. Upon leaving the dealership and heading down the highway with my newly serviced vehicle, it starting making a weird noise and the entire vehicle starting shaking. I finally made it off the highway and into the Rouses parking lot. After looking over the vehicle I found that they had forgot to reinstall the lug nuts on the passenger rear tire! My heart was already pounding from the initial experience but I was in total shock upon seeing my wheel without lug nuts! I called the service department and they sent someone with lug nuts to install them. I brought it back for inspection and according to them, there was no additional damage. I just cannot believe something like this would happen at Hampton Toyota! This was a couple of weeks ago and the really sad thing is no one followed up with us. Makes you feel as if the customer doesn t matter and they really don t give a dam. Very unfortunate experience!

Heather was so upfront and honest and made sure to give us all the information that should could, so we could make the best decision on which vehicle we chose. Not every day you can find someone who hold her ethical values so high. I d highly recommend her. She was such a pleasure!

Very good experience, for the most part. Stephen Boudreaux was so sweet and helpful. Financial was great! One bad experience; Car wasn t cleaned very well They did redo, but not as clean as it should ve been. Overall a great experience! I m loving my new car!

Candace was really great to work with and communicated with me throughout the process, through text mainly, which I preferred. She was very responsive, pleasant and accommodating. I've never had such a good salesperson experience and will go back to this dealership to work with her again. Highly recommend!

Thanks to Hampton Toyota & their salesmen, Dallas, I'm the proud owner of a beautiful 2015 Tundra in excellent condition. Dallas made sure I was well informed throughout the buying process & made things easy-going. The dealership even offered to remove paint guard from my vehicle, which had become dirty & unsightly with time, for free. I will be visiting Hampton again the next time I'm in the market for a vehicle.
