Always appreciate the speedy service, competitive prices, and trustworthy technicians at Fournet s. It s the only place I take my vehicle. I am totally confident that I m getting a fair price and I can trust the repairs done. We've been to this place many many times in my 4 years of living in Lafayette and each time they are able to quickly and effectively fix my car - including a faulty fuel system on my Cube which I had battled with other mechanics in my hometown to fix for nearly 5 years (which the hometown mechanics were reluctant to do since it was a pretty labor intensive job of dropping the tank, taking out the seat, etc). That old issue alone would have my car break down on the side of the road because it thought it was out of gas. No more! I can happily drive my car to empty now if I want haha. They've also fixed my partner's car several times when his A/C broke, belts and brakes needed replacing, or when my coil pack went out. Have a huge binder of work receipts from these guys and they're pretty much all I'll trust my car with. Big shoutout to Rick and Vanessa since they work on my car most often, as well as Brian. We will probably see y'all very soon!

Fournet's is always quick to get to my car and fix it. They're also very reasonably priced. Always upfront about costs and time frame, too. Definitely recommend!

I used Fournet s Chevron to replace the AC Compressor and dryer on my white Honda Civic a week ago before the 4th of July. . Ricky was the one who repaired it. I have to say, he and Mr Bryan are so honest. When they received the new compressor and installed it with the dryer Ricky realized something was not right with it. He wasn t pleased how the air was not cold and it was making noise. So he and Mr. Ryan talked and Ricky said we cannot give this lady her car back like this . So, Mr Bryan called me and said he wasn t happy with that compressor so they were going to keep the car and see what was wrong. He decided to send that compressor back, come to find out it was damaged and they got a new compressor and installed that one and my AC is working wonderfully, and cool. I am glad I brought my car to them. Any other mechanic would have probably given my car back to me with a screwed up compressor like I had the first time years ago. These men, are professionals and take good care of their customers. Thank you Ricky for fixing my car. I rather have a small business that s been here a very long time and will treat you like family. My car actually runs better now. Before I took it there, I had 3 different mechanics tell me 3 different things. Ricky and I spoke and he knows his stuff. They don t lie and tell you need something when u don t. Thanks a lot guys.Service: General repairs & maintenance

The owner was super nice and helpful. He offered to drive me to UL while my car was being repaired. Super reasonable prices for the work being done. I totally recommend you check this place out if you need maintenance on your vehicle!Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Stopped in to get my inspection sticker updated. I was assisted immediately by a kind young man. While he was inspecting my car, I got to pet the shop's 12 year old lab that wondered out the storage room. Super sweet big guy never made a sound. I got my keys back after I paid and was on my way in less than 15 minutes. Highly recommend!

They don t make FULL service stations like this anymore. They do inspections, repairs, and pump your gas! The service is excellent and the staff is great! I have been a customer here for several years and will continue to be.

I took my husband's car in for state inspection in early November. We chose this site due to the awesome weekend hours and reviews. Unfortunately, we had a crack in the windshield and failed. Fournet's gave me a sticky note with everything I needed to do, and placed a temporary sticker on to get us by until we could get it replaced.Fast forward to today, we took the car back in, and Mr. Brian helped us out. He was quick, speedy, and it was such a joy to watch everyone come in be treated like family, and greeted with a smile and funny joke. I absolutely recommend them. Fast, speedy, consistent, loyal, and friendly.

This is the auto shop that I've been taking my car to for the past two years - more often than I should, but such is life when you drive a lemon. Usually they are prompt, professional, and honest about the work they do. I haven't ever felt like they were up-charging or trying to sell me services I don't need.The reason I have left two stars is their blatant disregard of safety precautions during the COVID-19 pandemic. The last time I brought my car in, half of the employees who came near me wore a mask. Today, no employee was wearing a mask, and several employees brought their unmasked faces incredibly close to my (masked) face. The building is too small for social distancing, and an employee would not let me keep the door open to at least have air flow to have a safer environment for the customers.Five unmasked employees in and out of the very small seating area inside made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. There isn't a seating area outside, so to keep myself safe the only option was to sit in the parking lot.I'm disappointed, as I have enjoyed doing business here in the past. Maybe I will return once the vaccine is widely available. In the meantime, I recommend finding a safer place to do business - a place that makes their team and their customers safety and health a priority.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Air conditioning, Oil change

Went for an inspection sticker and apparently the kid there was on a power trip and wouldn't do it because my two front tires had low tread and back power windows wouldn't work which apparently doesn't even matter when it comes to getting an inspection when you go to any other place. Anyway he didn't realize that the lock button for the back windows was on and that in fact they did work. Tires also had plenty of trend too, about half a penny's worth doing the coin test. Kid would not listen to me and just said come back when it's fixed or I can fail you to give you more time if you need. No thank you. Wasted my time there waiting for nothing. Never going back there again. No one was wearing a mask. Just me and the other customer waiting. Felt unsafe the whole time I was there. Took it down the road to another place and the service was so much better. Everything checked out great. Got my inspection sticker done quickly with no hassle thanks to Stan's. Go there instead.

Had state safety inspection done today - quick service. In addition, the mechanic checked and aired my spare tire and explained why a minor problem I recently had worked the way it did - without impatience or acting like I was dumb, and at no extra charge. I appreciated their service and attitude very much.

My Subaru XV Crosstrek has high mileage and needed a bit of service when I purchased it. I brought it around to several shops to get it diagnosed and read a bunch of reviews of these said shops... and I didn't feel like either; the techs were competent enough or reliable/honest enough to service my needs. I eventually brought it here and was able to work with the team to get my vehicle diagnosed and repaired for a fairly reasonable price.I had some hurdles here at first, HOWEVER, what will keep me coming back is that the business made it RIGHT (charges) to KEEP my business and we came to an agreement. For the reasons of honesty, reliability, and willingness to work out mistakes - I will keep bringing my vehicle here. I could feel the competency and reliability vibe with this business when I first dropped it off, and I was right!THANK YOU

Fournet's Chevron is the BEST SERVICE STATION in Acadiana. From the minute up drive up you are greeted with smile. They have qualified mechanics and service people. Fantastic service. Brian Fournet and his team are top notch. My sons 4runner had broken down and Brian sent tow truck to pick it up and tow it to the shop within 15 minutes. When I have friends with car trouble in Lafayette I make certain they know about the good folks at Fournet's, a family business I've learned to trust with my automotive problems now over a period of 35 years. These are honest folks who like people before nuts and bolts and the almighty dollar. They know their business, excellent licensed mechanics and if they can't fix it they know who can. That said; they've fixed every problem I've ever had and on more that one occasion they have literally rescued me at roadside with a flat or more serious motor problems. I can't compliment them or their services enough only to say I'm grateful to Brian and the great family there and only too happy for the opportunity to write this revue.

My tire pressure was low on my car so I went in to add some air to my tire. The first gentleman was really kind told me the prices and said but if you just want to just add some air it s free. So I added the air and my light was still on so I waited because I would now let him check it because something else could have been wrong. The other gentleman was now adding air for someone else when a man came from the back asking if I needed anything not knowing that I just added my own air and watched the other gentleman add air in someone else s car. I said yes I would like to have my tires checked. He says sorry I don t have any air and walked away. I have never in my life felt so uncomfortable that was so rude.

Didn't like anything about this place. It took nearly an hour to inspect my vehicle, then didn't pass it because "the tint was too dark."I am a professional in my mid 30's - the vehicle is a year old from the showroom floor - I didn't order special tint, there is no aftermarket tint - nothing has been modified. It doesn't even look dark-eyeballing it. It apparently had passed inspection when I bought it since it came with a LA inspection sticker- and this was its first inspection outside of the dealership.When I asked the guy about it, he smirked and told me "not to take it up with him." He of course charged me $10 regardless... I went elsewhere and had them recheck it, it passed easily.I would never go this place again, they have no respect for their customers' time, and are not friendly or helpful.

I came in to get my inspection sticker done. They were fast, nice and accurate. And they're open till 7 on weekdays! Not much else you need in a good inspection place.

Went for an inspection sticker. The young service t technician was pleasant and knew what he was doing. I would come back for this and at least give the a chance on car repair.

Was the only person in the place and for some reason it took 45 minutes to get an inspection sticker. Someone showed up for gas and the person helping me stopped to go take care of them first despite another person being outside on duty.Won t be back here.
