I had an 11am appointment, they called me at 2pm to say they finally started. When I picked up my vehicle, I noticed the glue- on wheel weights were put on so crooked, they were coming out between the wheel spokes and onto the exterior finished surface of the wheel. There were scratches on my wheels from using a screwdriver instead of a non-marring tool to remove the old glue on weights. And some of the marks are on the finished part of the wheels. Very sloppy work. After driving for a few days, I tried to re-check my lug nut torque, and found my 22mm sockets would not fit on many of the lug nuts anymore. I even checked to see if the emergency tire tool would fit, no luck. So now if I get a flat while traveling, no way to remove the lug nuts. The vehicle is only 2 1/2 years old. I've rotated the tires myself with the same hand tools, so I know they weren t like this until they worked on it. It appears they used the wrong size socket and overzealous, under trained tire guy with an impact damaging most of them. Stay far away if you want someone to care for your vehicle.

So impressed with the customer service we received. It's not very often you find an automotive establishment that DOESN'T try to con women who don't know much about vehicles but the staff who helped was super kind, honest, and helpful. I don't even live in Lafayette but they definitely earned themselves some loyal customers and I'll be back for future needs.

This the slowest Firestone I've been too. Brought a company Van for maintenance work: oil change and all tires replaced. Got there at 11:00. Was told it will only take about 2 hours. Took a little over 3 hours to finished. Appear they mostly stand around and talk alot. Most of the tech here look like kids. Should of went to the Ambassador location. They are faster. Hopefully nothing falls off!!

Just want to give Brent a heads up. Called on a Sunday at 4:45 (they close at 5). He was pleasant, helpful and I never felt rushed. He suggested I bring the car in on Monday, the earlier the better. I was there at 7. He was, too! He called me by 8 with what they found and I approved the work. Was told they should get it out that afternoon. I was pleased when I got the call to pick the car up at 11:30. Great communication, professionalism and efficiency is a great reason to recommend Firestone and Brent. Thanks for a job well done.

Has one of my fleet vehicles serviced twice. Very professional and knowledgeable. Service was fast, friendly and quality inspected. I will definitely continue to do business with this location.

They got my son's car up and running with new tires. I really like the selection and the prices that were available. They added a couple screws to my son's calipers in which they called me to let me know the bolts would be free they never mentioned the labor would be $150!

Hubby went to get a oil change and it was done faster then expected. We thought we wouldn't get it back til late evening but not even 2 hours later we get the call. They are our go to place for oil changes

I really like the staff at this location. Mr. Carl is so friendly and knowledgeable. I can drop my car off at this location and know that my car will be taken care of. The staff here seem to know what they're doing and they take pride in their work. This location is one of the best in town. I highly recommend making an appointment or else you'll have to drop your car off and leave it for them to work it in during the day. they give great quotes and explain everything that they plan to do before they do any work on your vehicle. If they are over booked they let you know and give you options for bringing your car back at a later time. I highly recommend this location!

If i could give this place a 0 i would, but i cant. i went there a few months ago to fix a flat tire and was treated like a joke. i told them i just wanted a new tire a that was it. they then laughed in my face and told me i had no clue how it worked. i did not care, i wanted my tire fixed and that was that. they did a good job, however, the way u treat ur customers is much more important than the service. the guy also offered me a $10 discount, but when the purchase came i still paid the original price with no discount. i will never return.

Very nice place. Staffs are superb. Particularly Mr Brent - he is amazing ! Extremely polite, courteous and very nice manners inspite of having 40 years of experience!! He checked the tire pressure and pumped air free for all 4 tires of my car . Also gave genuine invaluable advise for my car repair moving forwards.

Carl Is absolutely amazing!!! My car was overheating Wednesday night and I had to be in Georgia for a funeral Friday at 11am. I had tried other shops and no one would look at it till the next day.I got to the shop 2 hours before closing and this wonderful man/shop looked at my car the same day and went out the way to get me back on the road. Might I add they were busy. This shop is amazing!! Great people, nice, informative and good price. Thanksgiving you

My wife and I used to bring her car in for maintenance, and have had no issues. Carl and the crew have always been great.However, I brought my truck in since it had a nail/bolt in rear passenger tire. I didn t notice any air loss, and could have plugged it myself, but wanted to be safe and get Firestone to patch it up. When I retrieved the truck, Carl said they had to remove the object and drill into the last layer to apply the patch since it hadn t gone all the way through. Good deal, but I left with less than 100% satisfaction.First, I noticed oil splatter on driver side rear door panel (tried to clean it off, but wasn't coming off completely). The next day, I noticed stem valve cap was missing from rear passenger tire and a white film on the rim. Went into the store, Carl said (without looking in the shop) that they probably don t have the missing cap and to go buy another set, to bring them the receipt to reimburse me. Then I noticed the tire pressure on all tires was around 32psi. Normally they are 50 (sticker recommends 49 (spare is 33), and yesterday before taking it to the shop, they were all at 50psi). In the evening, took half an hour to air up my tires with my air pump.Going to contact corporate.

Usually pretty good service. Set an appointment to get an oil change two days in advance, wait time over two hours. I asked Mr. Carl how much longer he thought it would be (I d been in the lobby for two hours at this point) and he started up-selling things like a cabin air filter. Which i had changed at the same location not even a year ago.

Helpful staff. He thoroughly explained the difference between rotation and balance and rotation. I had no idea to request both. I thought it was automatic. I dropped my car off and they called me with a thorough explanation and options. Loved that! Was not pressed in either direction. Definitely recommend this place especially to women like me who just want to get in a vehicle and go without worries.

I replaced ball joints, steering rack and tie rod ends (did it myself in the garage) and needed a complete alignment (caster, camber & toe-in). I took the 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 to 2 other shops 5 times (4 different technicians) and none of the visits could get the alignment correct. I suspect there is are training / experience issues at these shops. I then decided to take the truck to Brent and the Johnston Street crew. I made an appointment and arrived at 7:00 AM the day of. Carl met me told me it would be about an hour before they could get the truck on the rack. Patrick (technician) got it on the rack and 1 1/2 hours later the alignment was spot on; almost perfect looking at the before/after printout. Caster, Camber & toe-in were all adjusted and the truck rolled perfectly straight, steering wheel centered and no vibrations at all at any speed up to 100+ mph.Hats off to Brent & crew. I really don t know why the other shops had no idea what they were doing.

I love my local Firestone! I have been going to my local Firestone for years and will continue to do so. They always keep my car running the best it can, let me know what needs to be done, what can wait if necessary, and they make sure all work completed is correct. I have never had issues. They completely explain their work and always ask if I have questions. Work requested is completed in a timely manner with nothing frivolous added. I am a very happy customer.

They were busy but managed to squeeze me in at the end of the day. I'm also new to the area, and asked if there was anything to eat in walking distance, and they offered me some of thier jambalaya. They also reassured me and answered all my questions with ease.The customer service and the hospitality is beyond excellent. I dont trust anyone else with my truck except Firestone. Keep up the good work guys.

My boyfriend went here for an oil change and called to see how long it'd take to get in, they said around an hour. He arrived at 4pm they took around an hour to get his truck in which was no problem. They took 2 hours... TWO HOURS to change the oil, that's truly unheard of. He didn't leave until 7:20pm. Extremely slow at a simple service.

This place is a JOKE or a business ran with disregard to honesty or ethics!! Made an appointment ten days ago to bring my son s car in to check alignment, balance and rotation of tires. I stated these details upon checking in and the young man asked me to sign the signature pad for acceptance to do the work. Upon reading and inquiring why an oil change and multipoint inspection was added; the young man said this was requested by my son. I told him my son did not make the appointment, but I did and never requested this work! Asked him to remove it and he did with an attitude.(tried to sneak in upsold unrequested work) I took an Uber to my office and two hours later called to get a status on his car; was told that his two front tires needed replacing and didn t call me. I just had his tires changed just over a year ago, so another lie! I inquired about the rotation and he responded that without the changing of the tires they wouldn t perform the rotation! I inquired about the alignment and he stated it would take another 90 minutes!! I told them thanks, but no thanks and took an Uber to get the car. All in all, the sum of my experience with this store was two lies, two and a half hours wasted and $26 spent on Uber for absolutely nothing accomplished!!! DO NOT USE THIS FIRESTONE STORE BECAUSE THEY ARE DISHONEST AND TIME WASTERS!!

Seems like every time I go here im missing parts for my car when I get it back and apparently people who supposedly worked there for at least 7 years dont know that you get a pro-rated price on your tires if they don't last half the mileage they rated for. I bought my 2 rear tires a month ago for over 600$ they suppose to last at least 30000 miles. 10k later they fell apart so they discounted over 100 off. Today I paid 605 for my front tires and the guy never ever heard of giving a discount. Tires rated for 30k miles had 11k on them. To top it off, no chrome valve stem covers or chrome caps on my wheels no more. I call and they mad at me bc they fkd up and said just come tomorrow like my fkn life revolves around they schedule. Fk this place

Friendly and caring staff. Very detailed and concerned about your car's needs.they go the extra mile. Make appointment if dont want to wait. But if have to wait there is a roomy area with reading material, filtered water, and coffee . as well as comfy sitting with nice tv

This place is garbage, it took two days for them to repair a nail in a tire. Then after the car was picked up, the tire was low again the following morning. It s not rocket science. Do not bring your car here unless you enjoy wasting your time.

I when twice to this location. The first visit was OK but to my surprise the ruined 2 lug nuts, and it seems like the 4 lug nuts on my car were force in because one was completely ruined that they could not put it back in; now i have to replace the wheel bearing hub on my vehicle. decided to give them a second chance and went back for two more tires, this time I did not have any problems with the installation but the person in the front was rushing, not paying attentions because it was an hour and a half before closing i offered to bring my car the next day and he did not wanted me to do that the service was not the best.
