I definitely recommend Danny s auto repair. Mike is a great guy. He will take good care of you and your car. He was able to fix a very complicated problem with my 2014 jeep grand Cherokee. He was fast, the price was fair and the quality was superior. Thanks Mike.

5 star quality and honesty. There are few decent, HONEST, auto shops left anywhere. Michael Harris is a certified, skilled, owner/technician. My car broke down, low power, traveling to Nashville. I called Mike on a Saturday, he diagnosed over the phone (3 hours from Lafayette) offered to send a trailer if it got worse. I did what he said, limped home at 50 mph and made it safe. The next Monday Mike fixed my car in 2 hours, did it for cheap. I am now in Nashville, finishing my trip. Thanks Mike, you're the Best

Mike is an amazing, dependable, honest, trustworthy and affordable mechanic! It s rare in this day to find a mechanic like this. He s replaced/repaired everything on my vehicle from the alternator to the a/c to the cv joints at a reasonable price and quick turnaround, going out of his way to make sure my last minute repairs were done before I went on vacation. He even stayed on the phone with me after my alternator went out and I charged my battery to make sure I made it to his shop safely so I wouldn t have to pay for a tow truck now that s customer service! Can t recommend him highly enough!! I managed a fleet of 30+ vehicles until mid June 2023 in Lafayette.Mike Harris fixed issues that other shops had worked on. Mike takes care of my personal vehicle as well.Professional, fair, great communication.Mike is like Dr House...he fixes those problems that other mechanics have messed up. The best in Lafayette!

Got an amazing price estimate for my alternator and belt combo that needed to be fixed. Expected to pay so much more! And he fixed my stripped rotor bolt! Very nice,honest and humble dude. Anytime I use him he answers all my questions and never treats me like I'm costing him time by doing so.(nor that I'm stupid) And trust me I have many questions.Highly recommend.Service: Brakes

Mike and his crew are fantastic. They're quick, honest, affordable, and great at communicating updates. All that plus they know their way around JDM cars. I will happily recommend Danny's to anyone that needs a good mechanic, and even moreso to the few people with RHD imports around here.

Mike and his team were fantastic. They replaced the rear differential on my 2013 Ram. They had warned me that they may have to keep it over night, but they knew I'm from out of town and stayed late to get it done. I could not be more impressed with the quality, customer service, and professionalism. The only thing that could have put the experience over the top would be if it was free. But, really, they did a great job and I really feel that they charged more than a fair price for the job. Thanks to everyone at Danny's I'm back on the road and very happy.Service: Oil change

Mike is a fantastic mechanic. Went above and beyond to make sure everything was resolved in a very timely manner. I feel he s a very honest man, and I value him not trying to up-sell. Finding a reliable mechanic is so hard these days and I hope we found it here! Brought my car from another mechanic shop after spending $2400 and it still wasn t fixed and was told it would cost another $800! I decided to bring it here for a second opinion and Mike was able to fix it for FREE! It wasn t what the other place said was wrong with it! We ll be back to repay Mike for he did. Thank you so much!

Have been using Danny's for years. Mike (the owner) is very knowledgeable and will explain what is wrong and why a procedure is necessary. He changed the engine in my son's car and kept us updated on the repair(during Covid when parts were hard to order and get).He also fixed my daughter's AC unit and performs maintenance on the family van.Tho he works on just about every make and model, he specializes in Asian vehicles(son and daughters cars)Services: Engine repair, Auto maintenance

Michael Harris who owns Danny's Auto is an excellent mechanic and very dependable. He stands behind his work. We have used him for our vehicle repairs since around 2015. Mike Harris is the new owner, and he works hard to make sure that things go well. He s honest and fair, and he strives to meet expectations. As goodas they come as far as mechanics go. Even when he makes mistakes, which isn t often, he makes a point to make it right. I'm from out of state (about 1,200 miles away) and have been here in southern Louisiana for work for 10 months. I had two separate repairs that needed to be completed at two different times. Both times, Michael and his Team went above and beyond the call of duty. When I need to have work completed on my vehicle, I lean heavily on online reviews since I'm not from the area because I travel for work. Based on just my experience, I can see why Michael and his Team are always busy and have so many 5 star reviews. If I lived in the Lafayette area permanently, I'd always be taking my vehicles here. I was really panicking because my car broke down, but I got it towed here yesterday. They got her back up and running quickly (still working on her) and what I appreciate most is the calling and updating as soon as they could so I m not left impatiently wondering about it!
