Edit: The owner/manager/dude made it right, met husband there when he showed up and they talked. I'm still pissed at that woman who answered the phone, I hope she gets the day she deserves every day.We just needed testing done: see if all was well. Perfectly willing to pay for it. We agreed that was all we wanted, and they wouldn't work on it anyway. Cool. They said bring it first thing in the am. We did. my car was the first one there, sat there all day, and when we called the lady on the phone was hostile, said "SIR, we'll get to it when we have a free rack". She is essentially saying, we took 5 other cars after you brought yours in, and not ONE has been completed and somehow, they aren't to blame for not saying anything. 5 racks, and she wants us to believe the FIRST car at the location in the am (because they don't take appointments, we checked) couldn't be seen for a test? They were just going to let my car sit in their lot overnight no phone call, no communication. To be broken into, or stolen. Just trying to make us believe they were not able to complete ONE job all day.Yeah, F this place.

Husband and wife run the business. 40 years and counting. Honest, fair, and communicative. I paid way less than I thought I would. Good old fashion customer service like your grandma remembers. Love this place.

After having a bad rebuild at another shop I brought it here because it had the best reviews. It has been around for a long time and is very busy. After checking my truck out it was determined that it would need to be rebuilt again. It was a quick turnaround and back on the road. The work comes with a good warranty and a 2 week checkup. I am confident that my transmission will not fail prematurely.

My transmission blew out while I was on a cross-country road trip, and I limped it to this area. A-Abal did incredibly good work, putting a HUGE hurry on coordinating getting parts shipped, getting the vehicle towed and re-programmed, etc., to get me back on the road ~72 hours after I dropped it off. Prices were in line with "lower end of typical price range" for my issue. Very, very friendly, streamlined, professional service - if you've got transmission issues and are in the area this is without question the right place to go.Service: Transmission

I never leave reviews. It is not my thing. A-Abal transmission hit all the markers. Professional, timely, quality and most importantly honestly. I came into A-Abals on a recommendation after getting bounced around to multiple other shops that were able to do little fixes (each with a fee) but not get the job done. I was quickly approaching a crossroads of if I even wanted to keep my vehicle anymore. I immediately had a good vibe when i walked in and not only was my problem fixed quickly and professionally, it was far less than I was expecting. Sam explained what the problem was and that it was an easy fix. I am certain that if I went anywhere else, my problem would have been taken advantage of and charged crazy amounts of money. I am grateful for the recommendation I got for this place and they have a customer for life. Thanks

Sam and his wife are the real deal and stand behind their product! I have over 10+ trucks for business and they are the only ones I let touch transmissions or rear ends in my fleet. Sam and Brandy are extremely nice and professional. My daughter's transmission had to be rebuilt and this was my first time having something so major done so I was nervous and anxious but they were always nice and willing to take my call when I would call to check on it. I also like that they have you bring it in for a check up to make sure everything is working properly. I highly recommend!

Had my truck towed to get the transmission hose replaced. After I get home and driving it a couple of days there was a clicking noise and the hose surrounding it and engine was saturated with oil so I called to inform him what the status was... they mentioned to bring it back and he'll check it out~ while looking underneath the truck there were several other leaks. He said it was the valve cover gasket the rear main seal and the power steering hose. My question is why didn't he detect that when I was there and let me know I had other existing problems.That cost me time and gas as I don't live in town it was quite a drive to get there!!!

Major transmission problem so stopped in to see if they could diagnose the problem, but they seem to be extremely. I spoke to a lady and explained my situation and she suggested I could drop it off at night and drop the keys in the night drop. From what I saw they are some hard workers and I will be bringing my vehicle.

The owners of this business are the best! They helped us when we became stranded on a Friday evening. They checked out our car and helped us get it towed, when it was an issue they could not help us with. Let me start off by saying that it's never easy to have to bring in your vehicle for a major repair. However, after speaking with (friendly and knowledgeable) employees at A-Abal Transmission my mind was set at ease. My vehicle was diagnosed in less than a day and the repairs were completed shortly thereafter. I found it really nice to conduct business with a company, where the owner is still involved in the day to day business. As of now my vehicle is running great and I couldn't be any happier with the repairs. I will give an update on it's status in the following months.

I love love love love the work I had done @ Able Transmission. It drives the way it did 4yrs ago when i purchased my car. I hope the good people @ Able understand my gratitude when i say I spent a lot of money to have my car running worst than when i brought it in to other places to get it fixed. To say it drives sooooo good since Ms. Brandy & her crew fixed it is not enough bragging. Able Transmission will always have my business. Even my attitude is soo sweet when my mom needs me to run errands! My mustang runs that good! Lol

This was my second time receiving great service from Sam and his technician. My GMC Envoy V8 was leaking oil, and I suspected the rear main seal as this is an issue for the motor I have. This repair is labor intensive due to the transmission being separated from the engine. I figured who better than a transmission specialist to get it done fast/right. I dropped it off in the morning and it was done that afternoon. Sam was informative and patient with me...I google too much and there are a few other areas these vehicles can leak oil from. At no point did he try to upsell or make unnecessary repairs to anything that I suggested may be another cause of the leak. A lot of shops will gladly repair anything you suggest, but Sam was honest and only fixed the actual problem. It's been a few days and it's bone dry underneath my car, and done at a price that was about 25% less than what I was expecting for the job. I'm getting ready to relocate across country, and he even offered to check everything out under the car before I hit the road...GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Most mechanics are out to screw the customer over. Mr sam is the furthest thing from that. I went in fully ready to spend 3k on my transmission. He went out his way to diagnose a totally different problem and fixed it in a timely manner costing me a couple hundred instead of thoussands. I will be going back to thier shop for all future business big or small.

Super fast service! The owner was very patient with all of our calls and concerns about our truck - they handled everything expertly and answered every question. Mechanic shops can be kind of tough around here but this shop is a diamond.

My clutch went out on interstate. Sam gave me the very best service. He got me going in 24hrs. I got to Texas for Thanksgiving in time. I was towing a travel trailer.
