We came to run for the barrel race and we had a service dog with a vest and a card on him. We checked into the room and about 9:00 at night we got a knock on the door and the lady told us that we could not have a dog told her it was a service and said ok but you have to pay a 150 dollar fee we told we could not pay it because spent are money on the race she put us on the phone with the manager and was very unkind and did not understand it is a federal law that u can not ask what the fog is for and can not refuse us. We left the next morning because we refused to be harassed the had bright white signs that said you can not have dogs but service dogs are welcome. Next morning when we went to go get are refund the signs were not up. We called wyndem and told them happened and they started to harassed us. This was the worst hotel we have ever stayed at and we will not be going to any Wyman hotel against were told that is not only is a state law but a federal law and we will be calling the state of louisiana about this.

Customer service was excellent. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Stayed 2 nights and will stay there againNearby activities: Really close to the Coushatta Casino and gas stations.Food & drinks: I wish they had some kind of hot breakfast

We stayed here lastnight (August 26th) for my husband's birthday to do casino activities.I don't understand all of these bad reviews, the rooms were very clean, nice and inorder, the a/c worked extremely well and the beds were sooo comfortable. We really enjoyed our night and slept very well. The only complaint I'd have to say I have is the TV remote was tripping but that wasn't a big deal at all. We really enjoyed it, will be back!

DON T STAY HERE!!!!! The on-site manager is RACIST.Horrible customer service, The manager( Kush, pictured below)is very rude and unprofessional and tried to charge us additional fees and deposit for having 4 people in our room that slept 4. Then went on to tell my husband DON T TRASH THE ROOM he even went as far as to make us wait at check out and told the lady in the front he was going to go check if we trashed the room. I wish I would have read the reviews on this place before booking because they all say this place and guy is horrible.

IF I COULD GIVE IT -0 I WOULD I DROVE TO LOUISIANA FROM HOUSTON 9/22/23 GOT IN A T 11 I HAD BOOKED THE HOTEL NEXT DOOR GOT THERE IT WAS CLOSED DOWN FOR GOOD !! I WENT NEXT DOOR TO SUPER 8 I HAVE A FAMILY OF 5 MY 3 CHILDREN ARE UNDER 10 THE GUY AT THE DESK OWNER CAME OUT VERY RUDE I ASK HIM DID HE HAVE ANY ROOMS AVAILABLE I EXPLAINED MY SITUATION THAT I BOOK NEXT DOOR HE SAID OK THEY BEEN CLOSED HOW MANY PEOPLE I SAID 5 2 ADULTS 3 KIDS HE SAID WHATS THE AGES I SAID UNDER 10 HE WELL KIDS OVER 5 CONSIDER ADULT I SAID SIR ARE YOU SERIOUS IM FROM HOUSTON WORKED AT LAQUINTA FRONT DESK A FEW YEARS NEVER HEARD IF THAT HE SAID WELL WE MAKE OUR OWN RULES YOU DONT LIKE LEAVE I SAID OH I AM BUT YOU NOT MAKING SENSE HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN HAPPY HE WAS GETTING SERVICE NO WOULD RECOMMEND A DOG TO STAY IN I WILL BE REPORTING THIS TO THE BBB !!!

This Super 8 is close to Coushatta Casino and reasonably priced.It is clean. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The people running the hotel are friendly and helpful.We stay at this location every time we visit the area.Other than the restaurants located within the casino a five mile drive into Kinder is required for other limited dining options.

TV didn t even turn on. Man came and replaced part but then we discovered it only got like 5 channels and 4 dumb ones. ALSO, the shower had a big leak so the floor got soaked when used it. And it was a handicapped accessible room but the toilet was not taller.Beds were ok, we slept cause really tired. Definitely not worth the $135. Might as well stay at the cheaper ones.

Let me start off by saying BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! We were quoted a price by a Female rep and the owner did not adhere to it. The owner stated that he must have at least a $100 deposit that we were never notified of when we originally spoke to the first rep who was giving a discount on the room for me. There also were no signs stating a deposit was due upon check in. He was very rude and stated he was the owner, he did not need to speak to his employee about what she quoted us. I definitely feel they charge people what they want to by how they look and race. Very unprofessional and discriminatory. I DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE!

First in for most when we walked in the front doors it smelled horrible. Very moldy. Front counter ladies were nice. Went to her room and headed straight for the air conditioner. Before turning it on I had to kill a bug that was on it. The air conditioner was very loud and didn t cool very well. We sat on the rockhard bed and turn the TV on. All we had was one channel and it was cartoons! The lady at the counter in the evening told us how we needed to reset it. When we did we ended up getting another single channel! When I laid down I looked at the wall and there were wires where the smoke alarm should have been. We were offered another room but we had already unpacked and figured there probably wasn t a better one in the whole place. Apparently this hotel went through a couple hurricanes but the lady at the front desk did not want to admit it. Overall, the people were nice but the hotel is trash. I can t believe it is a Wyndham property. We really want it to go to the casino and we did, but I ll never went to gamble that bad anymore! I would never stay here again

Definitely not a $95 a night hotel! While it was clean, the smell of Curry is soo strong in the hotel that everyone and everything you bring into the hotel will smell like curry. The staff was nice and helpful but this is definitely a 1-2 star hotel. The rough bath towels and single ply truck stop toilet paper will leave your skin exfoliated.

Worst hotel/motel experience I've ever had. I told the owner that I would not ever return and that I would be sure my family didn't either, and he told me that he I already paid for this stay so he didn't care. Whole building smelled like a dirty diaper, the TV didn't work, no breakfast, no elevator, no ice machine, only one door in the building works AND the entire family of staff was unbelievably rude. They knocked on my room door at 10:45 to tell me I needed to check out, I was already in process of leaving, I got down to the desk to get my receipt at 10:55, and they were calling rooms to tell people that they needed to leave already. Price was higher than any holiday Inn or best Western I stayed at during my entire trip but the quality and service was beyond poor. Don't stay here if you can avoid it

When my mother and I checked in the front desk lady was very short with us. The hotel had a very strong smell of curry. The shower and carpet looked dirty. WiFi never worked. Ok for a one night stay just for a place to sleep while visiting the casino. Only good thing is how close it is to the casino. Probably will try another hotel next time.

My debit card was billed for the room before I arrived. Got into room ac was off, the room was extremely hot she's took forever to cook off. If your looking for an alternative stay due to book up at the casino I strongly recommend finding a different hotel you get more for your money and friendlier staff/management

First time here. Decided to go to Casino on a whim. This motel formerly known as Black Jack Inn has been and is undergoing updates. Very nice employees. There is no shuttle to Casino at this time.

If i could give no stars I would with no doubt.. THE COUSTUMER SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE I CALLED PRIOR TO ARRIVE TO GET A ROOM AND THEY TOLD ME I COULD STOP WHEN I GET THERE THE BIIITCH IN FRONT (indian look lady) gave me an attitude said that 3 adults and two KIDS WERE NOT PERMITTED IN A ROOM. BECAUSE SHE SEEN A BIG TRUCK SHE ASSUMED THAT THERE WAS ALOT OF PEOPLE FOR THE ROOM BUT GLADLY I FOUND A NEAR BY SUPER 8 THAT WELCOMED US AFTER A LONG TRIP WITH OUR KIDS. I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!!
