I seldom give reviews but, this, I would have to say, is an exception. Karen (Maaco Estimator) is so accommodating and professional. The good reviews that I ve read about Karen was true and was happy that I made the right choice. Its hard nowadays to get good service but, she s amazing and helped me all the way. I was also satisfied with the overall paint job. My 04 Pilot looks great. Mr. Mohammed Ali is very accommodating as well. Thank you all and keep up the good work. I recommend this paint shop.Service: Painting

Karen was very knowledgeable about what would be done. She offered a couple different options. Work was completed on time and car looks great.

I was told one price and he went up on the price when it was time to pick up my truck. He said we want to clean your truck before you take it, water was on the truck to camouflage area where someone bump the truck. Little area has small cut like, on top it has an area that doesn't have paint and a paint run. He charged me $2450.00 to paint a black truck black. He charge me $300.00 for a clear coat and it doesn't look like the extra coat was put on it, only the gloss he said he would use first. I went back to him for corrections and he said oh that would be easy to correct in a few minutes. I left because he has no truth in him.1243 Veterans Memorial Blvd. Behind that price he showed no pride in his work and the whole truck should be repainted. He give this company a bad name. Really excellent work at a very competitive price. I ve had two cars repaired and substantially repainted here, and both have come back looking like new. Mr. Ali and his crew know their stuff.

I had a scratch that I wanted repaired. Drove 30 minutes to Kenner and they told me they would/could not fix it. This after I talked to them on the phone gave them the details of my car and the issue and they said it would be no problem to fix it. The owner of the Maaco location basically said they do poor work and I would not be happy with the results or price. You believe a company, especially the owner, when they tell you they will do a bad job and charge you too much for it.Edit: In response to the owner. I was not asking for a "custom" paint job. I was asking for them to fix a 1 inch long scratch and I didn't ask for it to be perfect, just better than it was.And, yes, they quoted $1,400 for fix it (a ridiculous number for a one inch scratch) while repeatedly saying that it would not be done properly. That's basically the same thing as saying we do poor or "good enough" work so you can't expect better from us. In addition, if you need to look at something prior to saying if you can repair it, that should be said over the phone. I should not have to rearrange my schedule and my wife's schedule in order to drive for a half-hour only to be told that you can't do the work.Finally, if you can't, won't, or don't do work on high end cars then that should either be on your website or be told to people over the phone when they call and ask if you can do the work.

They painted my truck and removed my window covers and they didn t replace them nor did they make me aware of it, I noticed months later and called and spoken with the manager and explain to my situation. He had the nerve to tell me that those plastic covers are usually a one time use and once they removed they can t go back on , I told him that I never hard such thing and why no one didn t tell me that. He goes back and forth with me, he never tried to accommodate or apologize. Other than that the job they was okay. But manager to to handle Accordingly.Service: Body & Trim

I didn't get my vehicle painted, but received an estimate. The "sales" price is a bait and switch gimmick. The price of $349 turned into over $1200 once everything was said and done. They charge to tape the car down properly before painting it! They also charge for sanding, which I expected, but I still can't wrap my head around the tape charge. The front desk area also smelled heavily if paint which seems unhealthy if your employed full or part time. My head was spinning when I left and my 3 year old was some what hazed for about ten minutes after we left. Waste of my time. I gave an extra star because of the front desk lady who was weird, but in a Lord (the singer) sort of way.

Wanted oldler Jeep Wrangler with simple spruce up paint job. Plain same black color. Quoted me a price then over doubled price once I drove over an hour to get there. Said how difficult it was to paint (has no top to paint and doors are tubular) so it s actually very little to paint compared to a regular car. Was rude and had no interest in my business.

After spending almost $3k on a Maaco paint job, my 2004 Land Cruiser was returned to me with excessive Orange peel and overspray. The shop owner declined to correct the orange peel and used a black sharpie to correct the overspray on the black trim. The shop also incorrectly installed a Lexus LX bumper and it took about 2 weeks to correct the problem. My Land Cruiser was my pride and joy after so many years, a gift to myself after my deployment to Afghanistan, but I was so disappointed with the quality of the paint/work that I ended up selling it a month later. I just could not live with the disappointment. It was my first time using Maaco and I will never use them again. I will never recommend Maaco to anyone seeking any work to their vehicle. Very friendly staff. They did a great job repairing my suv after an accident. The owner followed up with the insurance company when the company failed to show up for repair estimate. The staff still managed to repair suv when promised!

Wonderful experience with Maaco Collision Repair and Auto Painting. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I was very happy and satisfied with the new paint job on my car. The paint job was excellent and very affordable. Maaco in Kenner definitely have my 5 star rating. Excellent customer service. Maaco has made my ride look brand new again. Thank you.

The good:Quality of the paint job seems to be well done but my truck was not ready for pick up when I showed up the morning of the day it was suppose to be ready. They cleaned my wheels, which were very dirty, and also painted a few parts that I didn't expect like mud gaurds which made it look even better. The lady at the front desk was very nice and welcoming.The not good:It wasn't ready until around 3pm which was 11 days after I dropped it off. 3 taillight retaining bolts were barely threaded on and 1 is missing. One of my headlight retainer bolts is also missing. So, I double checked the bumper mount and all bolts were tight.Conclusion:I would use or recommend MAACO again but I would caution to inspect that everything was put back properly.

They do a great job of most of your auto accidents. Paints don't fade. The shine keeps shinning. On time delivery. No run around. Been using them for at least 20 years. Never a problem.

The paint job on my vehicle is quality work. My issue is the small details and follow through. I had a full paint job with driver door dent repair and rear bumper replacement. My issue was with my driver door repair. The dent was repaired but they did not replace inner door pieces back properly after repairing dent. Then later owner attempted to state inner door was broken when the vehicle was brought in for repairs due to impact. That was not true. The dent came from a animal hitting the vehicle not a car and inner parts were not loose or pulling apart. I will state the company did fix the inner door at no cost at my insistence but they attempted to not take responsibility for the issue. So, just cover all basis but generally the work is good and I would use them again.

Just picked up a 2010 Camry that had a worn out paint job with no clear coat left. I got a mid range job that included some body work a paint and clear coat.The car came out looking brand new!!!They also did it for price quoted and on time.I would use them again and probably will.

Maaco did such a professional and beautiful job on my husbands 07 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD. After a lifetime of wanting a yellow truck they turned an old work truck into a thing of beauty that has kept him smiling for weeks. Mr Ali, Karen and the team in the paintshop were very professional and personal in explaining the process, what would be needed and what were our options. The whole team went above and beyond to make this truck look brand new. The price range was excellent for the work accomplished. We definitly recommend you consider them for your next repair or full paintjob!!

Brought my car in for a paint job and was a bit disappointed with the overall quality of the job. Paid about $1600 for everything but you can see spots on the car where the paint wasn't done properly.
