We booked 2 nights and had a gorgeous view . But the cabin had a lot to say about it-Overpriced and undervalue-Every powersocket had an air freshener the place smelled disgusting from all the synthetic smells.Cabin had mold and not well cleaned -Bathroom had leaky toilet and shower and beds did not give good support or sleep. The futon sofa was broken and couldnt even be upright. There a wifi internet system with many light flashing all night you cant turn off in the kitchen.Would not recommend this place.Stop for a picnic the lake is beautiful but staying there isnt worth it.

The cashier was so awesome. The debit machine did not work due to a storm. She said if the ATM did not work , and I'm from out of town , she would write " an I owe her " for the good's and pay her the next day. But the ATM worked !Nearby activities: Fishing , swimming and camping

This was a case of owner's getting greedy. We requested a campsite for bumper pull rv. The camp said they have fire pits, picnic tables, typical amenities. They stuffed us up by the highway parallel parked in a driveway. No table or fireplace, but no room for it anyway. You had to look both ways to exit ca.per because you are literally in the driveway. A steep bank to your back, and road to the front, sono space for even lawn chairs. Bathhouse was fully too. The worst.

Thus far, staying a month, Marina and RV Park great. Most all sites great view of water. Propane, groceries, and gas. Grocery has a little bit of everything one needs. Owner and staff excellent. Can't wait to try out fishing.

They have Network Issues with their phone service, so you cannot reach them by phone. If you leave messages on their email address, they do not respond..people already staying there have absolutely no phone service.Noteworthy details: No phone service and they will not email you back.

Do you guys remember when this was Bensons Bay!? That was an amazing place. It s def not at all like it use to be! Ronny Benson - previous owner - kept the campground clean, provided excellent service, had a clean up-to-date store, had a bar and grill that served wonderful food and had clean swimming areas with up-to-date equipment. I miss those days

My stay at Kel's Kove was amazing. The cabin was awesome. The new owners have a great outlook on family orientation. The on-site store makes it convenient for accessories and fuel. Great place to enjoy nature. My daughter's expression says it all.

I have been going to Kels Kove for the last 5-6 years for family reunions. This year is the first time I spent the whole weekend in one of the cabins. I was in cabin 4 and My bed was rock hard and hurt my body to sleep in it. The toilet area in the bathroom was not made for larger people and was difficult to use the bathroom. Otherwise a great place. My parents had cabin 1, my aunt had cabin 2 and my uncle had cabin 3. Fridges/freezers leaking and causing water to be all over the floor and bottom of fridge. Food ruined over the weekend. Fridges were dirty. Water pressure in some of the showers was terrible. We have enjoyed our stay in the past, but was not completely satisfied this time around. We will be back next summer, none the less. Hopefully they will have fixed some of these issues.

I suppose I could say it isn't a good camp ground, but I would be lying. On the other hand.... It's because it didn't feel like a "campground" it felt like home!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks to Misty, and her staff and the good neighbors, I started a stay there for a week and ended up staying for a month. And I Will be back!!

Very nice area, friendly people in the area, and at the store. But the cabins are not worth the daily prices. We've stayed in cheaper cabins that were nicer.

Great hidden gem. Stopped for the night as part of a multi-day RV trip and wish we could have stayed longer. Nice store on site has most of what you'd need for a fun weekend.

So many things about this place. Gas, food, and relaxation. Soon new owners are coming and bring updated sites, upgrading store, whole place. Exciting times.

Small , country store right on lake Claiborne, you can get gas right from your boat/pontoon or car! A bit pricey, but very convenient unless you want to drive 15 minutes into town!

Booked a cabin..had to cancel..Never informed of a cancellation charge till i called to cancel..had a voicemail on my phone telling me she charged my account $108.63 dollars..without my permission..Beware of this place . She did not have permission to charge my debit card nor did i sign or receive a notice of cancellation policy via email or any other way.

This is a good place to load up with items to go camping, including firewood and fuel. It may be a bit tricky to get a large rv/travel trailer in there for fuel but I think its possible.

The home picture is as per their website. Small and older campground, not as maintained as others. Old washer. Rural, quiet, lake for fishing, in the country. Owner's on site wih small store. Far from restaurants and shopping. Staid in our fifht wheel. Would stay here again only for fishing and relaxing.

If you want lakeside off the beaten path with no Wi-Fi, TV and poor telephone, Kel's Kove is for you. Muddy grass sites. Never found a bathhouse or club house. They sell bait, gas, and beer/wine/liquor.
