Best tire shop in Hammond and surround areas. They are timely, knowledgeable, and offer fair prices. Mr. Jeffery is always friendly and treats my vehicles as if they were his own. Highly recommend!!

Great price and always fast and friendly service! Call ahead and make sure they have your tires in stock, but even if they don't have your tire they can have what you need the next day. Definitely will continue doing business with this place and recommend.

Compared to other businesses in the area, they have the most affordable prices while also offering great & trust-worthy service. The gentleman who works there is so kind, I actually enjoy my visits here! If you need tires, skip Tony s & go to University Tires.

Was recommended by a friend and now I recommend to all my friends. Jeff and his team do a great job. Always friendly and timely service. Have always been straight forward and honest. Just purchased my fourth set of tires from them. I highly recommend.

Local business that treats customers with professional assistance. Great prices and quick turn around on installations. My one stop shop for all my tire needs. From repairs to new purchases I always leave feeling I was treated fair and and professionally.

My dad went to have his tires rotated and had a pleasant experience. At the time I was shopping around to replace all four of my tires, I gave the business to Jeff at University and couldn't be happier. Great staff, good and quick service. Would recommend them to everyone.

Great guys and great tire deals on. I bought a set of tires from them a few years ago because they were recommended by a friend of mine and I haven't taken my vehicle anywhere else since! I am very satisfied and I know you will be too!

One of the best places around hammond, they have great prices and quick service. It's a family business so you get what you pay for there which is great advice and real help. If you have to go out of your way to go there then do so. It takes around an hour or less to put on huge tires so if you have a smaller car expect less than 45 minutes. They have new technology here which you can trust. Go to university tire because they know what they are doing

WISH THEY DID MORE THAN TIRES BECAUSE I WOULD BRING OUR VEHICLES HERE FOR EVERYTHING IF I COULD!! So I needed new tires for my truck and purchased them through Tirebuyer. While looking into who to have them shipped to for installation (shipping was free if shipped to a tire shop) I called University Tire to get a price for installation and balancing because they seemed to have the best reviews. Mr.Jeff not only had the best price but also gave me a promo code to enter at checkout which saved me about $80 on the tires themselves. Everybody was incredibly friendly and helpful and service was fast and efficiant. ALSO, about a month ago (about 1 year since new tires were installed) I started getting a very bad vibration and shaking in my truck periodically while driving, and especially during braking. I checked and changed everything I could think of or find suggestions online to look into. Thought it was a longshot but thought MAYBE the tires had become unbalanced or there was a manufacturer defect. Went back to University Tire and talked to Mr.Jeff about checking the balance. He said he would 100% check the balance for me for free for peace of mind, but that he didnt think thats what it was. He then tells me he had a friend with the same exact truck that went through this same issue once before and recommended checking u-jounts in case they were locked up. Low and behold he was absolutely correct!! Yall, I spent countless hours looking for info about this weird shaking in my truck. I had even previously checked u-joints for wear or sloppiness (couldnt check for them being locked up though) and after all that digging and calling around and about a month of replacing parts and bringing my truck to different shops, it was Mr.Jeff at University Tire who saved the day once again. He even recommended a reliable mechanic to bring my truck to since I'm new to the area and dont know who's a trustworthy shop around here, AND the mechanic was also the best priced and super reliable and fast working to get me back on the road (Shout out Supreme Automotive in Hammond on N.Cherry).. So Mr.Jeff saved me money on my initial tire purchase, was going to back up the product and services he originally had done for me and check my tires free of charge, diagnosed my trucks mystery problem, and recommended a reliable mechanic with the best prices. I mean you dont get more dependable and trustworthy than that. We are currently looking at getting new tires on the wife's car and once again we will be bringing our business to University Tire because they are the best and the friendliest in the area. Cant recommend this place enough!!

I brought my daughter up there to get a new tire mounted, and balanced on her car. The people were really helpfuly, friendly, and they even showed us what else was wrong. I would recommend University Tire of Hammond to anyone. Thank you guys for getting her back on the rode

We moved to the Hammond area 10 years ago. We needed some new tires on one of our vehicles an we didn t know where to go. I reached out to a very dear friend of ours and He gave us Mr Jeffrey s name n number. I reached out to Mr Jeffrey an told him I was giving his name an all. 10 years later Mr Jeffrey and his crew still does any and all tire work for us. Weather it s on vehicles, trailers or Atv s, University Tire is da place to go. Hard to find honest good people in the world now adays
