On September 25, 2023, I decided to get my oil change at Take 5 Oil Change located at 112 S. Morrison St. Hammond, La. 70403. As I was headed home I heard a noise and stop at a neighbor s house to get him to check under my car. The neighbor notice all the screws except one was missing causing my undercarriage to flop up and down as I drove down the street. My neighbor then secured the under carriage and I contacted Take 5 oil only to being put on hold then going straight to a busy sound. I called back to back four times and no one would pick up.The next morning I drove my vehicle back to Take 5 Oil and asked for my screws to be put back on.The young fella I was speaking to said I could just go get some and put them on myself. I said oh no, I wasn t the one who stripped them and y all need to fix it. I was then advised I had a minor oil leak. I responded, it was not leaking before I came here.They decided to order my part and now I ve been calling to see when it would come in and needless to say, as of today Monday, October 9, 2023, my vehicle still hasn t been repaired.As far as the oil leak, yes it was leaking due to the oil drain plug being stripped also. They also didn t drain the old oil out all the way. Please see photos and video below.It blows my mind knowing the young fella knew this and let me drive away.Service: Oil change

I went in to get my oil changed. They topped off all fluids in my car and performed a tire check. A week later my car starts having transmission problems while I'm driving on the interstate. Turns out they forgot to put the transmission fluid cap back on after checking the oil. We called to inform them that they forgot the cap and they said they'd come and take a look and replace the cap. They did have someone come out with the wrong cap and he said he would have to order the right one. The next day we contacted them and they said they never touched my transmission after stating they did the first time and have refused to correct their mistake since. They also performed a tire check and when I got my car inspected a week later, I find out that my tires are in horrible condition and there is metal coming out of the first two. They told me and wrote on the paper that the tires were in good shape.I would not recommend this place to anyone. Avoid going here if you can as they are bound to mess up your car and will refuse to correct their mistakes.

Ended up siphoning the oil, and didn t get all of it so oil is still dirty. Left plate hanging on bottom of car and did not replace oil filter like they stated they did. Never going to a take 5 again. Will be sending a bill from dealership for any costs.

Wayne and Jeff helped me. Upon arrival Wayne offered my kids and I water and he was very very nice. He helped me pick the best package for my car. Literally the best and most helpful duo I ve ever experienced! They were quick and made sure we used our coupon. Thanks again Wayne and Jeff

Absolutely love the service. It s not always 5mins but I really appreciate the workers just for fixing my vehicle. JASON is really kind & nice, appreciated his good energy. They are the best honestly. They put air in your tires for free without you having to pay

My family and I have been to your Hammond location several times. Twice now I have had a problem with your team member Jason. Once he did screw on the oil filter correctly. I returned the next day when I noticed oil leaking under my car. I was helped that day by a manager who handled the situation sufficiently.Yesterday, I went and waited in line for 45 minutes. I realized the line was when I went but waited patiently. Jason changed my oil again. As I rolled my window down, he was complaining about another co-worker not doing their job. Saying they only do this once the bosses leave. I did get my air filter changed because my old one looked dirty. This morning I noticed smoke from under my hood while I was driving to work. It appears that oil leaked or was spilled on my engine causing it to smoke while I m driving. This has never happened when I get my oil changed there.I have given him multiple chances. I have continued to give you my business but that may be changing in the near future.

Best experience I ve had yet. We got there super early on Saturday morning. We were in and out super fast. The mechanic who serviced our car was the nicest guy! People like him make me want to return! Excellent service. Thank you!

Take 5 Oil Change was a great experience and very quick. The entire crew servicing my vehicle was polite and entertaining. I asked about a service they didn't provide. Not only did the technician tell me where I could get the service. He provided detailed directions to their location. Thank you for your service guys

Horrible experience and will not be returning to this location.Lee was awful, she paraded around complaining about how she was short staffed and wasn t not in the mood for the day. She came to my vehicle numerous times stating she d be right with me and that new management was working to hire better people.I work in the service industry, guest service has to be #1 and at no time should a guest be informed of short staff or the businesses dirty laundry. Both Lee and Anthony shared with me that they needed to use the bathroom BAD which should not be a guests business.This was the worst guest service experience I ve ever had dealing with a take 5. Trust me I m not a Karen. I m a hard working individual who knows and understands customer service and this place was lacking it, tremendously.

Despite the long lines across three bays, they moved through the cars pretty quickly, and Shala provided great customer service to us as well. Another gentleman whom I did not get his name also went above and beyond to assist us with our unusual maintenance reset.

It is now 6:30pm, Feb 26, 2024. My daughter got there straight from work at 4:48pm!!!! Yes that is almost 2 hours. Beyond ridiculous. She just got done. Guy said they are short staffed and are training a new guy. There are still 8 or so cars in line! Trapped! NEVER AGAIN.

people were nice. the work ethic was not great. took 2.5 hours. most of the wait was in line with only 2 cars in front of me. my turn came up and at the end the guy could not put the oil stick back into my engine. had to get out and do it myself. he tried to close my hood with me still under it. then i sww 2 oily hand prints on the plastic part in front of the engine. wiped it myself with a rag. got home and realized my whole front bumper was oily somehow. 2 stars bc everybody that was not working on my car was nice

They must have gotten all new crew. (Thank God) It was an amazing experience. They educated us and checked things unlike in the past. Very kind and professional.

The person doing my oil change got mad because my air filter was clean and I didn t want to replace it. My windshield wasn t cleaned no air was put in my tires. They just gave me the same print out from the last oil change. Listing all the things that were done from the last oil change so I will be doing my own oil change from now on. 0 stars don t waste your time or money

Staff is nice. The guys didn t tighten my cap back down and the oil was steaming out and my car smelt horrible. I had thought they just dripped a little oil under the hood. Then the smell got worse and worse the next day.. popped the hood to find the cap just laying on top.

Everyone was polite and knowledgeable! Anthony even took the time to answer my children s questions when they started asking..anyone who is a parent knows how that s a big deal! lol. Everything was done with in a reasonable amount of time.

The service was fast, and the employees were friendly. No extra services were forced down my throat as has happened in the past. Obviously more expensive than doing it myself or elsewhere, but the convenience and speed is certainly worth it, to me.

I always go to this location to have my oil changed. Everyone is always really nice, but they were especially awesome last night!! They treated me like a member of their family and made sure my car was good to go. Thank you guys!!

I have used Take 5 often for the basic services of oil changes, checking tire pressures, etc. I have been impressed over all with there services. I do find the price to be a little high though.

I usually take my car to the dealership because I didn t think that my car would be checked for anything other than the oil change. I was surprised by how thorough they were. I love being able to stay in the comfort of my car and in and out so quickly. I will be returning.

The place in general was good, but was suppose to get a discount for being a Take5 car wash member. But not the case at all! So it was $164.00 for an oil change.

Take 5 does it right! They offer water and are respectful, not demeaning. Not pushy. Great prices for the synthetic oil I get. Great group of people!

Take 5 Oil Change is the best place to take your car for an oil change. The staff is friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable. Take 5 checks all of your fluids and air levels and they are lighting fast. Before you can even do a 5 minute meditation you are out and on your way home!! I love them and will always use them for my cars oil care needs!

Horrible. My filter was not in stock so we had to go purchase one and come back. The staff couldn t get the cap off so my husband had too. It took 1 hour and 45 minutes AND to top it all off, still paid full price of $138.

Extremely expensive for a simple oil change. My husband is so put off he ll be doing the oil changes from now on. And after he reviewed the receipt we noticed that they put the wrong type of oil in the car. They put 5-30 it takes 5-20

I will never go here again!!! I went to get a basic oil change $89 the guy checked my cabin filter and said it had to be replaced $50 he said he would give me $20 off when he finished my total came to $143.55 when I asked if he took the $20 off he said yeah when I got my receipt he charged me $12 extra the $4 for their work that s fine but $8 for 5 units over of oil I have been going there for 6 years now and I have NEVER been charged for extra oil my car doesn t need it I have every receipt I ve ever gotten from here and not once was I ever charged for extra oil or had someone tell me I HAVE to change my cabin filter. If you are a girl DO NOT GO HERE they will take advantage of you!!!! Highly Disappointed!!!!
