Out of all the dealerships I dealt with the past weeks, the team here at Bill Hood we re the only ones I d ever trust again. From the first phone call, with Scott and Jerry, to the last signature, we were guided through with patience, care, and us in mind. No stone was left unturned. My only regret is that I didn t buy another car! 10/10 would recommend.

It has been a few years since I worked with sales, and had no issue with them, however I have a huge problem with the service department. First of all, they are extremely backed up, so you will be without your vehicle for weeks. Second, they seem to charge the same rates that heavy equipment dealers charge for service. Third, as referenced by the photo, they are not careful when working on your vehicle, and when they break something, they will make the customer pay for it, twisting it around in order to avoid taking the blame or showing any integrity. Due to a letter in the mail, I assumed that my fuel pump was going out due to the symptoms, but this shop told me it was the turbo, which I was able to cover with my warranty (mostly, aside from exorbitant shop rates), and then after the fact, I was informed that a "brittle hose" had broken. This is the hose, which was not brittle at all, and I can even put a good bit of pressure on other points that did not break before they even begin to flex.Edit to add: this is the second review I have left, with the original being through the link on their website. When I informed Paul of the low review due to these issues, his response was "oh, well thank you for that", and to hang up on me. I highly recommend that anyone needing service and repairs done go elsewhere, and if a Hyundai dealership is required, then Metairie or baton rouge would likely be much more worthwhile.Additional edit: after spending a few weeks to calm down, I attempted to reason with this shop, they seem to be stuck on "the vehicle has 138k miles, so the plastic must have been brittle, or there was potentially a stress crack" when I asked them to please explain how it was brittle when none of the remaining tabs broke, their response was "it broke, so it was brittle", failing to see how force could have broken it. I also was able to determine that a third tab directly next to the others that broke has a slight crack at the bottom, although it does not seem to want to break, even when I give it enough pressure that it leaves indentions in my hand, which I did demonstrate to them. They claim that only the one section was weakened, when the entire collar clamps around the hot metal, therefore evenly distributing the heat, and at least nearly evening the weakened points, not just two tabs out of 6. As far as how they view their customers: they acknowledged that I have left this review, along with filing a BBB complaint, which they took almost 3 weeks to reject with the same nonsense, and a Facebook review, and as of today, February 13th, they still have yet to even respond where the public is able to see, much less present significant evidence to validate their assumptions, while I have submitted evidence to validate my own. Consumer beware, this is not an honest service department by any means, from what they have shown. Additional photos have been uploaded without the clamp in place so that you are able to better see the damage.

Mr. Jerry at Bill Hood Hyundai was extremely helpful to my husband and I when looking for a safe mom car for our first baby. We went with the 2024 Hyundai Palisade and we absolutely LOVE it!! Every employee was so friendly and truly cared about making the whole process go smoothly and efficiently. We will be doing business with Bill Hood from now on!

Keith helped me every step of the way through the process, from a few weeks of talking and exploring choices and price ranges to the test drive to finally handing over the keys. He was such a delight to work with, and knew exactly what he was talking about and what I needed. In this day and age, not only is that kind of confidence hard to come by, but that kindness and patience too!Not once did I feel like a stranger or just another sale. I don't like to spend money on vehicle repairs more than anyone else, but I do know that Bill Hood Hyundai will fix my vehicle issues right and right the first time. I trust the service department. I trust the staff. They have always gone above and beyond when it comes to servicing my cars. I could go to a dealership very close to my home but, I drive 34 miles to Hammond because of how they treat me.

Had a great buying experience at Bill Hood Hyundai. My experience with my salesman Jerry was great I have already sent my sister n law to purchase a new Hyundai from Jerry. The managers and finance department were great as well. The buying experience I had at Bill Hood was about as easy as a car buying experience can be. My wife is really enjoying her new palisade as well we will definitely do business with them again if ever in the market for another Hyundai.

*long post*Went in for the first time last Saturday for routine oil change and tire rotation. I thought everything went great, until yesterday I realized I had a slow tire leak in one tire. I brought it to a tire shop and its the same tire in the same position that I had previously plugged..meaning they NEVER rotated my tires, or probably did any of the complimentary maintenance checks they are suppose to do! I called and spoke with Paul who was the service guy when I went, and instead of apologizing and offering what seems like the only logical solution (for me to go back and get them rotated for free), he argues on the phone with me saying that it s noted that they were rotated and that was his top guy who was working Saturday. If that s their top guy I d be scared to go there for anything considering they are too lazy to do a basic tire rotation! Paul asked what would I like him to do and said that worker wasn t there for him to ask . Paul even told me I needed to bring in the tire with the plugs to prove that they didn t rotate them! (I m buying a new tire through this other tire shop). So I ll be spending one of my only days off driving back to Hammond to get a tire rotation that should ve been done last weekend! After that, I ll never go here again! So Heads up if you go here, good luck getting what your paying for!

Funny how parts that work perfectly fine on the way to the dealership suddenly go bad after being serviced. Avoid this place, the mechanics here are scammers and do their best to contribute to the shady mechanic stereotype. Trenton and Brody, yall suck.

I brought my car in about 2 weeks ago to the Hyundai in Hammond for an oil change and to talk about some concerns I had, and I have nothing but good things to say about this location. I have brought my car to the Slidell and Covington locations before, and Hammond is the best by far!! Mr. Paul is the one who helps me every time and he was so patient and answered all my questions! I have called a few times since to talk about some complications i was having, and Mr. Paul made sure everything was answered in detail and encouraged me to call any time I have questions. He makes Hyundai of Hammond feel very welcoming! THANK YOU!

Purchased brand new hyduai tucson in 2017. It came with wonderful warranties. The first time my car was put in shop for faulty sensor. It took 9 months for them to fix my car. I used there car which was awesome. So I bring it back to dealership being still under warranty. They now request 165 diagnostic test , and no car. Pitiful if you ask me. I was just about to get new one from them...I will never give them any business again.

Jerry on the floor and the really nice finance guy set us up with a new Kona. They didn't try to get us to go over budget and they didn't try to talk us into or out of anything. Great place to buy a car. When other dealers gave me the run around, the salesman at this dealership made a point to be honest and upfront. The pricing was transparent and they didnt try and upsell anything. He listened to what I said I needed and actually gave me what I needed. I can not express how painless they made the process. No one seemed pushy or aggressive. They respect your personal space and avoid the head games.If you need a car I highly recommend this dealer. Ask for Jerry. He is awesome.

going with bill hood was the best decision ive ever made! i live in pineville, 3 hours away from bill hood in hammond and was worth the drive in the pouring rain. i was looking for a 2019 hyundia elantra locally at places such as m&m hyundai and was a little discouraged about the price. jerry from bill hood was able to come down over 1,000 dollars farther than anyone else. upon arriving to bill hood, we were greeted by jerry and received excellent service throughout the process. we drove away feeling wonderful about our purchase and have received many follow ups from jerry and his team at bill hood!

First time looking at Hyundai's. Very nice vehicles for the price. They come with all kinds of features even in their base models. The salesmen aren't pushy at all! I hate going to a car lot and they try to push the most expensive car down your throat. I am disabled and they were very helpful and patient with me. Answered all our questions and helped me to make sure I could get in and out of the ones we were looking at. I recommend this place if you are looking for a vehicle!

Service was performed as agreed upon, but felt as though I was being pressured to purchase a 4 wheel alignment fo my vehicle with only 30k miles on it.
