I stopped in for a new battery for my car remote. Sal helped me and it was one of the best customer service experiences I ve had in a long time by changing the battery out for me in both my main and spare car remotes.

They are very helpful even if they don't have what I need. like a 33mm short impact socket that no one seems to carry in stock anywhere in Hammond.

Came in and they pretty quickly figured out that my headlight was just disconnected, not broken. Fixed it in about a minute. Didnt charge anything. I now gotta figure out what to do with the hour of time and 50 dollars I had budgeted for car repair.

Called about a part. They said they had it. Drove there from Loranger to find out that they didn't have it and couldn't find it anywhere. A total waste of time and gasoline.

In and out no problem had all parts I needed and pricing was great friendly staff that was very knowledgeable. Clean store and parking lot with plenty lighting.overall great place to shop at for items you don't realize you need till your just walking around the store and see an impulse buy. That's where they get you at there ( lol) don't take my word though stop by for yourself and check them out

I don't like giving bad ratings unless absolutely necessary. 3 stars , you know what your getting, nothing great, nothing horrible, just is what it is. A franchise that sells auto parts. Most hires are not mechanically inclined, and being under staffed or not allowing proper amount of employees on a shift makes getting counter parts painful. And most of the time, employees are with customers instead of a check out person. This is one place that needs a self checkout. If you need information, find a parts place that has an oldtimer or knowledge personnel. They are still out there.

The lady waiting on me very nice the man taking care of the lady next to me did a fantastic job took his time and listened to her. Customer service at it's finest. There is still respect in this world.

I went to AutoZone to have my battery check, the battery was ok and I ask him to put the device on my vehicle to see what was causing my battery to drain, he said it could be the Alternator, but did not check to make sure.

Whatever you do do not by batteries from them!!! Their batteries go out as soon as the warranty is up trust me!!! If you don't believe me take a chance and spend your money on one!! I repeat do not buy batteries from here take your chances with Walmart or elsewhere. You will be disappointed

Tried to return a battery that was still under warranty.and auto zone is the only store that carries this type of battery.they spelled my name wrong or put wrong phone number so they would not exchange it..even though had 6 more months of warranty..and the guy who waited on me was rude and loud obnoxious.and cause of that I dont recommend auto zone to anyone..and I will let everyone I know and then some about how I was treated..now im stuck with a battery that I can't return..cause of their mistake...unbelievable..never shop there again...i will tell everyone to not ever buy a battery from here

Great place, at least from my visit there. I went to get a replacement bulb for my rear turn signal light. The associate was very pleasant and asked if I needed help changing the bulb. I was elated because I've never changed the bulb before. I'll definitely go back there for any miscellaneous auto needs.

Needed to replace some flat tire fix, that didn't perform even remotely what is stated on the can, I've had this happen before twice, once in Texas and another in Illinois, both times they simply replaced the cans and it fixed!!... After scanning my receipt at the Hammond, La store, I was told "there's nothing I can do with empty cans"... I have a sense that he'd actually done a refund to himself thinking about it later.. I'll not shop there again, I've happily spent quite a bit of money with AutoZone... I won't be anymore.. there's other similar stores... Never expected this...

The employees were no help. They directed me another store located behind them which was closed. He said it was called Ben and Jerry's but the correct name was Mason's. It felt like total sarcasm. There was an employee posted up outside that was of no help also. Total waste of time.

I needed a air filter for my 2006 Toyota Corolla didn't have the numbers off the old the lady was very understanding and didn't treat me like a idiot for not knowing all the details.she found the right one and in a short time. I was happy with the service and will go back.

The people here are so nice here, they helped determine if my battery was bad by hooking it up to the machine and once we found out it was the manager personally came out to my car with the battery removed the old one and installed the new.Thank you so much I really appreciate that you took time and helped me out in a bad situation.

Employees always go the extra step when I don't find what I want. Checking other stores, checking order options to find how quickly they can get it there (usually next day).

I was respected and helped by one of the assistant managers. Very helpful with putting a back brake light in and new windshield wiper blades on. I will definitely be back. Thanks

When I had a problem with my car, I visited this auto zone and the manager was very kind to me and filled the transmission fluid for me. He told me that my transmission fluid was so dry that I may have a leak and I need to get my car to the shop immediately. He told me that it typically takes 5 bottles to fill the transmission fluid but 2 bottles should get me back home.

I am from out of State and had a headlight go out. I very nice young man helped me find the bulb and also installed it. I was very appreciative.
