I recently came in for a diagnostic on my hybrid car and the master tech was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and professional (most private shops in my area are not equipped to maintain hybrid vehicles). After speaking with him, I immediately trusted his expertise and I will continue to be a customer going forward. I look forward to having my air conditioner working again soon, among other maintenance issues.

Submitted everything and waited 45 min. to get a sticker for my car but apparently the vehicle I purchased off the lot 3 months prior, tint was too dark. You can see straight through it and I actually don't think the front windows are tinted at all. Thanks for wasting my time, what ever the reason was.Edited to add photo!!Thanks but no thanks. I said what I said. I waited, and wasted time. This tint is lighter than most so exactly who checked it? I didn't make a fuss, I simply left. If you don't like the review, fine, but don't try and use the "laws" to fit your narrative. Im sure those you actually serve will continue their business with you; however, I won't recommend it. Now, have a better day Ma'am!

Mechanics do not care and will do the bare minimumBrought in my vehicle due to the tires making a squeaking noise while driving slowly and braking since I will soon be taking trip cross country. Lady at the front said they d check the breaks and look into the noise to see what s going on with it. I get a call a few hours later stating that there is no noise and they have no idea what I m talking about, that they d driven my car all the way to Tickfall and the Interstate and back (without my permission) to test it.They stated that they d check it again and I never heard anything back the rest of the day. I show up an hour before closing and still they say that they had looked into it and they could not hear what I m talking about. Also that my brakes are perfect and look brand new (they haven t been changed in half a decade and still squeak when braking)As they are pulling my car up I speak with the technician driving it and ask can you hear that noise and he agreed that there was something and that it was likely something with the suspension, but since I had only brought it in for a brake check that that it was a technicality and something they were not looking for (when the paper in his hands literally stated squeaking tires) They said I could bring it back again to have them check it all however I highly doubt they ll do anything to help. They were gaslighting me about the issue and instead of at least giving guidance or reason they ignored the problem entirely and pocketed the money for a brake check. Wasted my money and got no closer to fixing the issue on my vehicle.

Excellent service! I was getting my oil changed and asked them to see if they could find an oil leak. They were able to quickly find the leak, showed me exactly where the leak was, got a quick estimate, and we're able to fix it the same day. Service and prices were great. The receptionists and technicians were awesome. Can't thank them enough for their service! I will definitely be using A1 for all my automotive needs!Services: General repairs, Oil change

Alaina and Tito were incredibly helpful and friendly and we were able to get in and out very quickly! We came to get an inspection sticker when Tito realized our bright light bulb was out so we got that fixed as well. Great prices, excellent service, and an extremely kind and informed staff. Always extremely professional and fair prices. I've been a shop service manager for many years and wish I was as good as them. All work or found repairs are explained and options given without pressure. Even when they are swapped the pride of communicate and work has been unsurpassed in the 4 years i have used (found) them. I send my wife and kids there for work and have been told they are treated the same. I wanted to reach out and give this place the best review possible. I was driving from Memphis to Lake Charles, a mom with four kids 7 and younger by myself, when I started having issues with my tire pressure. I stopped multiple times to refill my tire but I just did not feel right. By chance I pulled off the exit of A-1 quick oil. Overwhelmed and anxious I pulled in and explained the situation. Two young men quickly assessed my tire and showed me that the belt was bulging in several places and would most certainly not make the rest of the trip. Unfortunately, as these things go the shop did not have my tires in stock. However, they called around and got tires from another shop. They were patient and kind with me and my little kids. They had us back on the road in no time and charged us an incredibly reasonable price. I am forever grateful for the blessing this shop was to our family. This trip could have been a lot different if it weren't for the professionalism, kindness, efficiency, and all around decency. Thank you!

I have decades of experience with mechanical repairs so I normally don't take my vehicles to a shop for service unless expensive special equipment is required. This was one of those occasions. My normal guy in NOLA inspected my truck and pointed out some serious repairs that were needed. Outer tie rod ends, passenger front wheel bearing, and center support bearing for my split drive shaft were needed. I drove back to the Northshore and parked my truck until I got the parts to repair it. The front wheels were obviously out of alignment after replacing the parts. I shopped reviews in Hammond and decided on A1 Quick Oil because they were very close to my home and I didn't want to drive to NOLA and ruin my new tires. I arrived at 8:20, without an appointment, and they completed the alignment before I could finish a cup of complementary coffee. They offer discounts of which one I qualified for. Check their website for details. They also responded promptly to my online inquiry. None of the other shops nearby responded, despite multiple inquires.The only negative was an upcharge for using a credit card. I wasn't aware of this beforehand or would have been prepared with cash. I will use them again if the issue is something I am not equipped to do. I give my highest recommendation for A1 Quick Oil. This is rare for me and not to be taken lightly. I have to be very impressed to give 5 stars. I'll take cash next time.Service: Wheel alignment

The shop is amazing. Janna sent me my inspection and once I opened it, informed me that she saw that I viewed. Great technology. The inspection showed me a lot of things that was wrong with my vehicle that I wasn't aware of. They had pictures as well so I never felt like I was misinformed. They texted me, so I didn't have to leave work to answer the phone too. Very easy to work with. Thanks A-1.Service: Oil change

A1 replaced an engine in my vehicle. They were professional in every way. They communicated clearly and kept to the timelines. They gave me a good price and my vehicle runs smooth. Also, their shop is kept very clean. They have good attention to details.

Great place to go to get anything done to your vehicle. A bunch of hardworking and trustworthy mechanics. They will tell you exactly what is wrong with your vehicle without trying to give you the run around adding a bunch of extras. There's a man who works there that goes by the name of Bobby and he was always my go to guy even before he started working there. They installed a brand new radiator in a matter of hours and I was back on the road. They are quick and will give you a fair price

Glad I came across this place, I read great reviews decided to try them. Only had oil changed , they don't make a woman feel stupid,and I do actually know a few things about some car repairs...I feel comfortable there. .
