Always loved this place the new building is great! But I miss the old cage out front with the live tiger used to always stop with my kids and eat while watching the tiger those are memories I'll always cherish

Really great place. Very big. Wide selecting of items. Too much to list (see pics). Very good, fresh cooked food. Really great staff. Lots of truck parking (free). Nice lot. Really nice bathrooms. I didn't check out the showers, but I'm sure they're really nice too.

Love this little truck stop and Restaurant on I-10. Very clean place with great parking.They have a very friendly Staff.They also have a great menu.The decor inside is great as well with a stuff White tiger as well as other items.5 out of 5 stars.

Truck parking is better than it used to be, but its a little wonky.Foods a bit on the expensive side.Bathrooms were kind of trashed.It's an upgrade and I know folks are busy, but $12 for 5 gator bites smaller than a mcds chicken nugget? No thanks.

Still a decent place to eat. Went there Friday morning and got 2 energy drinks they were both stale, went inside to let the clerk know that the energy drinks weren t good anymore and the lady was rude stating she didn t know what monster tasted like to be able to exchange the drink so I bought a NOS against my liking and that too was bad. My codriver bought 2 things of milk that were expired even though the sell by date was later than the date this isn t the first time this has happened to us, we ve been there one other time. I love this stop I just wish they would do better to make sure their drinks are in rotation and the coolers staying running.

This truck stop is huge!!! There is plenty of room for several trucks and they are expanding the front lot as well. The store is very clean, restrooms also. There is two food counters to choose food from. I separate dining room for you to be able to sit and enjoy your food! The scenery inside is also interesting. This is definitely a future stop again on my list!

I had the baked chicken, mac'n'cheese, white rice, and cornbread. It wasn't just good, it was damn good. The people were nice and had a clean restroom.Nice to see Tony on display. He was a cool cat.

Nice and unique place! Huge parking for cars and trucks. Clean place with clean restroom. Good food. Great bbq sandwiches! Friendly people! Lots of snacks and drinks!

The remodel striped the place of all personality- it s just another truckstop now- no more restaurant but they do have Truckstop food out of the hot rack- the employees are still awesome- just everything else is now meh

Store has definitely improved on appearance however there is no tiger there to view because it was removed so save yourself some te if you are going there to look at the tiger! There are 2 tigers in casings in the store I'm not sure if they are stuffed animals or the tigers that was in the cages outside.. Will scare the hell out of you upon entry of the store.. Overall store is nice

Nice place! Clean! Food! We got the alligator sausage, alligator bites, greens, mashed potatoes/gravy, spiced up corn Was pretty good!

A few reviews down Tod Augustine gave his opinion on the food at this stop. He wouldn't know good food if it slapped him in the face. I stop at The Tiger every time I pass through Grosse Tete and get a plate lunch. It's a little pricey but the food is second to none and I can rarely eat all of it in one sitting. If you want a good meal do yourself a favor and stop here for a plate lunch. You won't be disappointed.

Love this truck stop. A favorite place to go and catch a great meal. Fuel and snacks. Love to shop here for souvenirs also. A lot of love always goes into the owners thoughts in keeping travelers and truckers rolling through efficiently.

Great place to stop. They've remodeled since being here last time. Below avg fuel price. Very nice breakfast. Small casino attached to the truck stop.

Went there today for the second time. The first time was last week. Today will be my last. I had the cashier with the brown/reddish hair. She is super rude and shouldn't have a customer service job. I had her both times. Absolutely awful how she acts.

The owners of this TruckStop should be ashamed of themselves! They are Greedy as hell and are robbing hardworking everyday people. I am a trucker and I live in Louisiana. I have experienced thousands of truck stops across the U.S and this store by far is the greediest I ve ever encountered.My wife went in today because she was hungry. She got 1 piece of chicken (leg Quarter) 1 spoon of greens and 1spoon of green beans. She was charged $17.94!!!These owners know Truck drivers have to eat when they stop. Again I ve experienced thousands of truck stops and restaurants across the U.S but NEVER have I seen one so greedy to charge 3 times what the actual quantity of food is worth.99 percent of people in the south don t even make $17 an hour. Up north is expensive but never have I been tipped off that bad!I feel bad for the drivers and people traveling that get hungry and stop by here.

I ordered hamburger steak, mashed potatoes & brown gravey and greens. Everything is on point. Hamburger steak is favorable. Mashed potatoes are creamy. The greens are seasoned to perfection.I'M TRULY SATISFIED.

First time here hamburger steak and potatoes were good and shrimp po boy was really good. The store is neat allot of souvenirs and friendly people who work here and FREE Parking can't be that

Stopped on my way through the state. The bathrooms were clean for what they are. It's not there Ritz Carleton, but it's clean and you won't get a disease. The food however is the star of the show!! I got 2 chicken breast and some potato wedges for a little less that $5. The food was AMAZING!! The chicken was tender and juicy. The wedges were well seasoned and cooked. I highly recommend!

Since I didn t see any reviews about the showers here it is.$14.55 no fan inside. No hangers at all. 5 showers total. Very dark inside showers. I m rating it three stars just because it s brand new, parking lot is huge and they have lots of fuel lanes. Food looked very bad and didn t bother to eat there. Or grab coffee But for 10 hour reset I guess it s ok. Ohh and all the staff girls looked super tired and stresses ySo you know the kind of look they had.

I ve been stopping here for over 7 years. This place has done a lot of renovations and added a bunch more truck parking. I thoroughly enjoy my experience every time. Decent hot food selection and clean bathrooms.*free parking*

Over all staff was great good atmosphere first time being there since rebuild use to stop once a week in 21-22 only thing that doesn t sit right with me the food doesn t taste the same really miss the little cafe

Been stopping here since I started driving 25 years ago. And it's been real nice. But lately, the turkey wings haven't been thoroughly cooked all the way to the bone. Slimy, even pink to reddish on the inside. Can barely pull the meat off. It's getting gross. Never under circumstances do they have food ready to go in the fuel island. Always a 15 minute wait for this or that. C'mon y'all! Y'all been fueling trucks and selling turkey wings, boudain and red beans & rice too long to go out like this. What happened the other night...naw, that ain't it! That ain't IT at all!

This used to be one of my favorite places. Back in the day, the food was amazing, prices were reasonable,and the staff felt like coming home to visit.Yes it could have been called a dive....but improvement isn't always improvement.Everything is modernized and the bathrooms are clean, and everything is bigger,but where's the cozy feeling of the restaurant? Where is ray ray? Where are the people that you used to? Look forward to coming to see GONE! Now the only thing anybody cares about is charging you for every damn little thing and making money. Now it's just a money hole. It's not the old-fashioned truck stop that you look forward to going to. The prices are outrageous the staff just want to hurry up and wait on everybody and get them out of there. gone is the old fashioned truck stop.

Many years of being a professional owner-operator truck driver. I have tried to give this place an honest a chance before it It was rebuilt. It was pretty dumpy, so they rebuilt it and take in many more dollars from truck fuel answer and serve very Disgusting looking cough cough food.Nothing and either display Ace looks edible. Unless you live under the bridge adjacent to the parking lot. Everyone needs to eat and deserves something good and nutritious.Most people that buy this food. I wouldn't be willing to say they leave it there in one way or another after they purchase it.

I stopped for fuel. Moved with speed. Friendly service. Clean bathrooms. Competitive prices. I'll try and stop here again in the future

Good stop on a road trip. They have a tiger here. He seems very well taken care of. They say I'm their sign they have had 10 cubs born here. The bathrooms are clean and the gas prices are okay.Lots of LSU stuff in the gift store.Careful when driving here, there are one-way roads to cross over from one side to another.

Loved this place staff was excellent. Gotta try a Poor Boy for lunch, and the Fries..Oh my loved that southern seasoning..even tried a wee bitl of thaol' tiger sauce on da fries..pretty good, way better than Ketchup...Great truck stop to go to.. Improvements are in the works .New bld to be ready for truckers to shop by June. Please help support the mgr .He's a very trucker friendly guy. Sadly both tiger have died.The rare white one as seen in photo. And the mate, a normal tiger...I was fortunate enough to see both tiger's whilst they were alive....
