I went to Dishonest Auto to have a hub bearing replaced on my newer model 4WD Ford F150. As one of the mechanics who appeared to be a teenager was trying to remove the old hub bearing, he snapped off the axle nut. Tam, owner of Dishonest Auto, then calls me to say what happened and tells me I need to pay for a new axle for $300+. I go to the shop and see the damage and ask why he wouldn t use a penetrant first before attempting to remove the axle nut. He begins yelling and making a scene going on about how nobody tells him how to run a business. It got very hostile and uncomfortable. Unprofessional is a complete understatement of this little man s behavior. In the end I stood my ground and refused to pay for something his teenage mechanics broke by using improper methods. Save your time, money and peace of mind by not bringing your vehicle here to get worked on.

The fact that this place is called Honest Auto Service is laughable. John is every thing but honest. He is rude and disrespectful. Talks to women very poorly. I had to threaten to call the police to get him to stop calling and harassing my 19year old daughter. He gave use 72 hrs to remove her vehicle after we determined it was not fixable (that was a Friday) he was closed the weekend, then started harassing her saying she had 24 hrs to remove it he would have it towed at her expense. We sent tow truck that same day to get it and when the tow truck arrived he locked his shop up and left. I would not send my worst enemy to do business with him. He should not have a business. Very unprofessional from start to finish. DO NOT USE THIS GUY. Nothing is honest about this place

Went with check engine light. He put tester on and announced I needed oxygen sensor . Left truck there and he called later saying the bill would be $ 336 to change one sensor. He charged $140 for sensor and $ 195 labor.Seems a bit high as sensors on web run from $49 to $75 and unscrewing the old and screwing in the new is no worse than changing a spark plug. It is under on the exhaust system so he did use his lift.Still feel taken.

Worst shop ever. I called to ask about my car and that I already have the diagnostic for my car and he was literally told me if you have the diagnosis, do it yourself and hung up. Didn t even finish my sentence to tell him when can I bring my car in. 0 stars if I can.

Highly priced, very rude, He never listened. He cut you off, and then says, I am very busy . He charged me for 2 hours $165/per hour including taxes ($330 for labor). On the top he charged $ 80 for not putting any new component. Over the phone, he said, he will put new wire and will charge $ 80. Basically, he charged twice labor. However, it is in handwritten receipt which can hardly be read, says he did repair. Altogether he charged $ 420 for the job. When I called, he refused to explain what exactly he did and said rudely, that don t call me again, I have already written on the receipt Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Regis Radiator could have changed my compressor for 614.28 bucks! 884.00 is what Honest Auto charged, shop around before you fix your car there! Great work, but way over priced!

Had a great experience. Charged a reasonable rate relative to what I was getting quoted from other shops, and had my car back the next day. So far I have no complaints, I plan on using them againService: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

The Chinese owner needs to change the name of this business because he isn t honest at all. My husband stop by a few days ago and told the owner he believed that needed the front shocks and struts done he told my husband the whole job would be $350. Well today my husband went back to talk to the owner and asked if he could check to make sure if shocks and struts were really the problem. The owner told my husband it was going to be $5 to jack the care up. Well the owner confirmed that it was exactly what my husband thought and then told my husband he owed him $65 just to check. Then he told him the job would cost $800 instead of the $350 he originally quoted. My husband should have checked the reviews before he came to this place!!! Horrible customer service!!Now what if my husband didn t have $65 on him because he told him it was going to $5 you don t do people that he only agreed because of the price he gave him before jacking the car up!!!Service: Steering & suspension repair

The staff at Honest Auto surprised me right away when they accepted a hard job which required a lot more effort and specialty knowledge than any other auto shop in the area had to give - and they did NOT disappoint!!!! I am so thankful that there are still good honest folks around, like those running this shop. They saved me the arm & leg costs of dealership work. I just had to be patient because it was a REALLY hard job. These guys have earned my loyalty for all my future auto aepairs.

I let this guy change my water pump on my truck, a few months later I had a issue with my vehicle and took it to another shop and the mechanic said the water pump was leaking. I took to another shop to have it change and the mechanic said the water pump was used it not brand new and this why it's leaking

Very rude owner, fixed me car and when I went to check out complained they should have charged me more. Then they didn t even put all the parts back on my car. Was rude when I took the minivan back to them for the same issue, then they ignored me and i had to take it to another mechanic. Thanks goodness the other mechanic fixed it and charged me less. Find someone else they are not that cheap.

Tom (owner of the shop) is a liar and a thief. Kids working on your cars and he will cut corners any way he can to save himself money and charge you more

When you get work done here, ask for your old parts back. If you brought your own parts, check before you leave to make sure that the parts you brought were actually installed.

Do not bring ur vehicle to this guy. Brought both my trucks to him n got screwed on both. My new mechanic said he purposely didt tighten bolts so it would cause problems so id have to take it back to him. Very rude n hes a theif

They Chinese man is very disrespectful& he over charged me $900 & messed up my window that I told to not put down.Very RACIST workers. Chinese man who is the owner told me that he doesn't need" service from Black people "PLEASE do not waste your time coming hereThey are bad business! I'm a 22 yr old college student that was extremely upset & didn't even act out on anger like he DID. The Mexican mechanic completely messed up my window & he admitted to it,but told me he refuse to fix it. It's 2016 for people to still be acting the way they are. I called the police & so did he,But ofcourse you all know they're no such thing as justice especially to a litto black girl that just wanted a tune up & wanted my window fix that THEY BROKE. & plus when the police got there. THEY ALL HAD HIS BACK& made it look like it wasn't a big deal.Don't go to these messed up LOST subconscious GRIMEY GREEDY NO GOOD PEOPLE. They ruin my day & I hopethey all rot in Hell peacefully.

I would not recommend this place to anyone the owner is a liar he told me it would be 265 to run 3 test on my vehicle after he was done he said it was my ignition coils an mas air flow sensor he told my wife it would 2900 $ not knowing that i know how to repair cars an I know repair prices it very sad that these days we still have mechanics trying to take advantage of women for simple car repairsService: General repairs & maintenance
