I went to brakes for less because my brakes were squeaky. After looking at it the brakes had to be completely changed. After changing them the squeaking continued. I brought it in 3 separate times and they either said they didn t hear it or didn t know. This went on for a month. After several months I took it somewhere else. I was told Brakes for less used cheap brake pads and did not install properly. They had it for less than a day and it was perfect. The terrible service and customer service are the reasons I will never go back or recommend it. Please do not waste your money, time, or frustration on this company

This place is WONDERFUL!! I called around 9am and needed my rotors replaced. They got me in and out within an hour! The receptionist was EXTREMELY kind and lovely to chat with and the shop cat was very entertaining! I will be going back for any repairs in the future! Thanks again!

This company replaced my brakes recently. The following week, I noticed I had only 2 lug nuts remaining on my back tire. The mechanic had failed to tighten ALL of the lug nuts after he put my tire back on. The carelessness of the mechanic could have led to tragic results. I would NEVER recommend this company.

I went to this shop to get an inspection to see if an alignment was needed. I asked a lot of questions and they were honest with me. I simply came here to make sure that my car cuts on and gets me from A to B, and that's what they looked for and they gave me a honest answer and I'm good with that because I didn't come here to turn my 1999 hoopty into a new car, so I'm happy with my service because they didn't pressure me or scare me to get a bunch of nonsensical repairs that I didn't need. They told me what I need to do and what not to do and i think they saved me a lot of time, money, and headache. And i agree with the results and now I understand my car a little better and that's important because I'm operating this metal box on wheels. They were very kind and straight forward and I asked so many questions but it didn't wear them as thin as I thought it would of. So for this, I can say that I can trust them and hopefully you can too

Called at 5:20 pm on a Friday because my rear brakes sounded like they were grinding. Despite closing at 5:30, the owner, Randy, told me he d wait for me if I wanted to come by for a free brake check. Long story short, not only did he stay after hours to do the free brake check, he also replaced my rear brakes and rotors right there on the spot! Super friendly service at great prices! Will definitely be recommending Brakes for Less to my family and friends!Service: Brakes

It is the most fair and honest shop I have ever been to! They choose honesty over the bottom dollar! I went there and told them I needed brakes! The took the wheels off and called me to come see. The brakes were still good. My wife had a squeal in her brakes and brought her car there to be looked at, and she was told no breaks needed it was just dust. The same car was brought there, and they found a rear main seal was leaking, but it should still have manufactur warranty, and sent her to the dealership to have it repaired for free, the quote the gave was a lot of money. Again they choose to be honest of padding their pockets.I wouldn't recommend anyone else.

Always friendly they were very helpful and showed me what they found instead of just handing me a spreadsheet and saying "it's gonna cost this much and has to be fixed immediately"! They have an understanding that not everyone can spend a fortune on every little thing wrong with there car. Very professional only place I take my vehicle

DON T DO IT!!Brought in for an oil change and to have the brakes done had a little issue with brakes Friday afternoon. Dropped off at 8am on Saturday. I called Friday and was told 8am Saturday is when I needed to drop off. Saturday afternoon was told they needed to keep it until Monday. No problem I understand things get backed up. Monday comes around and still no call. My husband calls Monday late afternoon. Mechanics have zero clue on what they are doing. Tried telling me my front struts were air struts. It s a 2015 Yukon Denali. It doesn t. the Man kept trying to assure him they were. He was able to show them otherwise when he went to get my keys. They never even took the tires off my truck to begin the brake change and never even changed the oil. And tried telling me it would be $3000 to fix. Needless to say we picked it up and will definitely not be going back there and will let anyone else know that they should steer clear. I really don t write reviews on places but to have my truck for 2 whole working days and not do anything and have people who have no business working on vehicles. There s no telling who they have gotten over on. Shame on them!!!

I stopped by to get my 2014 Cadillac Escalade inspected by Brake for Less. I would recommend them to everyone. There very honest and has a good price. You couldn't meet a better set of people.

Both shops here and Oneal awesome Randy is like a father figure to me and always helps me get my car in order went to them for my last car and had my first repair done on my 2nd car they help you and always work with you when needed. The only shop I use for my major issues that pop up on my car. If you have something wrong take it to the dealership they ll take 5-6 hrs to days and weeks bring it here they ll have you up and running in less then 4 hrs depending on issues sometimes at the most a day depending on problem my last car always had issues never had to leave it over a dayI m family to this shop both locations they always there for me no matter what

I can't say enough Great things about the care I got from Brakes For Less in Gonzales....I was treated by the most considerate staff and the owner was hands on every vehicle. I am a cancer patient and they made sure I could travel safely and stay cool in this heat. Dropped off and 7:30 and rolling out with AC & new brakes and rotors for an unbeatable price they even offer a finance program with a 40.00 interest charge if paid in full in 90 days ....what a treat to work with small community buisness...keeping the money in AP and keeping Ascension citizens working. Doesn't get any better....nice to be a person not just an invoice to a company not just any company but a company that CARES! 10 s and a AND too!

I needed my brakes checked today and had heard so many good reviews about this company and the level of service they provide the community. I stopped by within 30 minutes of them closing today just to schedule an appointment for sometime this week. Randy and his staff wanted to make sure that I was taken care of before the potential bad weather and immediately took my car back. It turns out I did need brakes And they took me through a detailed inspection which I have never done before at a mechanic. They explained it to me in a level that I understood which I appreciated it immensely. They were extremely welcoming and did a fantastic job. I highly recommend these hard-working gentleman. Thank you!

No hesitation drove my car let me know the problem and the price was extremely good at the other place I was getting charged more and here I killed 2 bird with one stone did my alignment and my axel and it was still cheaper than the other spot. The guy was honest and very helpful and kind will forsure be back !

Extremely satisfied! My truck sat in my driveway for way too long because I didn't think I could afford to fix it based on other quotes. Saw Brakes for Less on the way to Wally World and decided to give them a try. They correctly diagnosed the problem and fixed it without selling me on work I didn't need. They saved me a small fortune and got me back on the road. And the 90 days same as cash was a big help too.Thank you Randy!

Excellent service! Dropped my car off at closing time and they went over and beyond to take care of the brakes and issues I had. They showed my husband exactly what was going on with my car and discussed work that would be needed. No pressure. Kept in contact with us while the repairs were being made. Felt taken care of and not taken advantage of. Trust their work and highly recommend others to use them for their car care needs.Service: Brakes

I loved this place. They fixed my car perfectly and they were amazing. They were extremely nice as well. We were having a hard time finding a place that would do the repair and not be as expensive as the dealership which pretty much was a nightmare of an experience within itself. If I ever have an issue with any of my vehicles, I WILL be coming here again. I wish I could remember the name of the mechanic that helped us and I feel bad for not remembering (Bad with names but amazing with faces) but if I see him, he's got all my gratitude.

The repairs made to my vehicle were great!Would be nice for that shop to employ a full complement of competent technicians. They could effectively compete with Goodyear, Chabill's, Firestone, and Midas

Great job, professional and fair priced. I talked to Eric about the problem I was having with the brakes on my 5th wheel RV and set up an appt. When we arrived the team got started on it right away. They got the adjustments made and us back on the road.

GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE!I went to get my rear hub assembly replaced because there was noise coming from the back and another shop had told me it needed to be replaced. But they told me that the front needed to be replaced which cost more. Afterwards I was still having the same problem. They didn't even fix the issue I spent all that money to fix. Now I'm out money I didn't have on a repair that wasn't needed. While the problem the whole time was a loose bolt.

Nice people slow service definitely not a stop and go type of place. I ve been here almost an hour and thirty minutes for a wheel alignment and there s no one here.
