Hotel is a great value. Clean rooms and very spacious. Felt very comfortable and safe. We booked a one night stay for a fishing trip and they had enough parking for my truck and boat (17 foot boat) and staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately after only a few hours a family emergency arose and we had to leave without actually staying the night. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable room, with all the basic amenities you would need. Have a gas station with a fully equipped store and pizza shop in front (not part of the hotel) with non ethanol gas for your boat.

Nice little hidden gem! We stayed in the one bedroom cabin, we sat the porch each evening (in our own chairs) until the mosquitos come out, watching the beautiful sunset. Quarters are small but efficient, full kitchen, minus dishwasher. There are grills on site, laundry facility and, fish cleaning station. Next door is a gas station with restaurant and bar.Be mindful they are recovering from.rhe hurricane last year! Penny is a great property manager!

Reserved 2 nights here. Place is a true hidden gem! Clean, spacious rooms, quiet and lovely staff. Tho due last Hurricane WiFi-tv network is down, surrounding restaurants, most other hotels, businesses etc are closed and under construction. The Lodge has next door currently an operating store, gas station and a restaurant, so you are covered! Not an average everyday kind of place to stay but an adventure "on a farm like surroundings" to relax away from everything!

We had a Deluxe Cottage and it was super nice! Very clean! Very private too! A short drive to Grand Isle from the cottage, but the ride is scenic, so it was fun! Penny was super helpful and very polite. If you are on the fence about staying here, JUST DO IT!

Comfortable and quiet. I had a late check in (the office closes at 8pm) but they called me and made arrangements for me to check in later. Beds were comfortable enough, the place was clean, the shower had good water pressure, there is mini-fridge and a microwave, a good sized tv, and a kuerig style coffee pot, and a table that seats 4. Was a perfect place to stop after my long drive on my way to a job.

Very nice place completely remodeled. We got the room with the king bed and sofa combination. Half a mile away from boat landing and Golden meadow to great fishing area. Highly recommend this place for anyone going down looking for a great place to stay. Convenience store restaurant combination located on the premises. Local guides operate out of this place that could put you on the fish. Vernon, Thad and Troy Robichaux are great guides in this area. They have been guides for years. Highly recommend these guides.

Very comfortable and quiet! Hotel style rooms are nice clean and updated! Staff was very helpful and quick to rescue me when I locked myself out of my room at 11pm. Glad I choose to stay here.

The rooms are modern, well kept, and everything you could want or need in a short or extended stay.The location was the best case scenario while I was working in the area. As well as opening up my door to see a fountained pond was pleasent.The rooms have a fridge, coffee maker, microwave, the basics.The staff was certainly the most friendly and helpful that ive ecountered in a long while.WiFi had some latency around 17:00, but it was also my best expereince with WiFi in a hotel. Truthfully Id fully recommend this place. The only negative notes that I can report is in my coworkers room he didn't have TP, in some of the single rooms the bathroom is oddly arranged. The shower is the size of an RV shower, and the camode is in a corner with as much space to my left and right as my shoulders are wide.Even after saying my grievances, I'll be staying here next time I'm in the area for work.

I really enjoyed staying here. It was really clean, staff was great and super friendly, and it was pet friendly as well. Although, if it says pet friendly, there needs to be a place for you to walk your pet. Other than that....I loved staying here and would stay here again and again.

We had a great stay. We only stayed a few nights because we were passing through with our boat for fishing. Penny the manager was great in showing us around Southern Breeze Lodge, which used to be Boudreaux. They have gone in and remodeled everything. Some are brand new while others have been completely redone. Our Cabin/camper was an original camper from Boudreaux's that was renovated. The small pond has been cleaned up and and the whole place looks great!! If your looking for fishing, then Basin Marina is just down the street across from Walmart. ($5 parking) Across from Southern Breeze Lodge is a small Gas station with Live Bait. If your heading to The Bason Maria you will need to stop and get bait from him. It was the only place to get bait until Southern Breeze gets theirs open and running. They are still working on some renovations and add-ons but don't let that stop you from coming in to stay. There is a gas station (Go Bear) as you go into Southern breeze Lodge. That is where you check in. The gas station also has a pizza restaurant attached and the gas station has plenty to offer everyone. Most gas stations all have liquor for the adults. There are a few restaurants around the area and they are all really good. You won't leave hungry!!!! Grand Isle is a 40-45 drive from here and a $3.75 toll. If pulling a boat add a $1.00. When using Maps, they have you make extra U turns that are not needed. With new construction they have now added new turn arounds. You are not needing to go all the way down the road as maps suggests. I hope this all help. Southern Breeze Lodge is new and a really nice place to stay. I'm so glad Penny had room for us all. That 3 Bedroom cabin had plenty of room for everyone and plenty of room for extra storage if needed while staying there.

I stayed in room 20 and it seemed very nice and the staff was kind however I woke up to over 30 bug bites all over me, not sure if they are bed bugs or flees.

My 2nd night want to watch TV message no service.Would like to know when did they clean on top of the fridge I wrote my name in the dust for the manager to see. If it wasn't for work I would have not stayed here. I'll post a picture of the top of the fridge. Can not post picture but if the manager what's it contact me and I'll send it to you.

Wow! Super nice people and place!! Gas station and restuarant right there, but motel and cottages by a pond with fountain, trees, and tables with grills!!! Very quiet too! Would definitely stay here again!!

Well built and cozy cottages. Great place to stay while working in the area. Bathroom could use hooks to hang clothes!

Great place to get away for the weekend. Easy access to Catfish Lake and Leeville for fishing. Staff was very friendly.
