It was great to see this place open and refurbished after Hurricane Ida. There is still a bit of rebuilding to do, but: The rooms are very nice - new floors, new air conditioners, new beds, etc. It would be nice if they had a small shampoo in the room, but otherwise the rooms were perfect for a weekend getaway fishing with family. The location is fantastic - being right next to a bait shop with ice and having your boat in the water ready to go in the mornings is a big plus.Overall, the renovations done so far are excellent and I can't wait to see when it is finished, but I'm glad I had the opportunity to stay while they are still improving and rebuilding.P.S. If management is reading this, please add a couple of new BBQ grills to the property.

We lost our camp in Grand Isle during Hurricane Ida. This was our first time back in the area to fish. Boudreaux's is excellently situated for fishing. It has a boat launch, and you can park your boat directly below your room. There are tables and grills underneath the raised motel. The area and the motel are still in recovery from Ida. We stayed in the 1/2 of the motel that has been renovated. The room was clean but small. There was a queen bed and a twin bed. The beds were raised, so storage of suitcases and bags was available underneath. The room had a microwave, a coffee pot (regular, not pod--bring coffee and filters), and a fridge/freezer combo. There was a t.v., but there was no streaming or cable service connected. The bathroom had a large tub/shower combo. The sink is in the main part of the room. There is a very rudimentary hanging/storage place for clothing. Bring hangers. The a/c/heater combo worked well. (We had to use both during our stay.) Overall, Boudreaux's has a lot to offer for fishermen who want easy water access and a no frills vacation.Food & drinks: Me-Maws in Golden Meadow isn't very far and has excellent seafood. The Starfish Restaurant in Grand Isle also has excellent seafood. Bring your own breakfast food.

First time ever staying here and we ll definitely be coming back. The rooms were nice, well cleaned and very cold. We absolutely loved how your able to dock and keep your boats/kayaks below your room in the water during your stay. They had a well lit covered area below the rooms where you could sit or fish. They had a fish cleaning area with a sink, marble cutting boards and hoses which was extremely convenient if you wanted to clean your catch while there. We had a great time and enjoyed our selves, can t wait to go back. Definitely recommend this place, it s a great place and the lady s running it were super friendly and nice.

Next time I visit the real Louisiana I will book a room, find a fishing guide, and drink some beer at Boudreaux's! I hope this can one day become a reality. Until that day ... Cheers =]

Awesome location! Very convenient to good fishing and inexpensive. Great setup for hanging out underneath the rooms. On the downside, the lighting is horrible, so bring an outside light if you plan to hang out after dark. Mattresses are horrible. Currently there is no cable, but management said they were planning to install dish network soon. I'd go back for sure, but they really need to take care of maintenance issues.

Great place, awesome fishing and easy access for boat and auto. Very clean for being predominantly a fisherman s stop. Bring an extra pillow and maybe a foam mattress for the bed. Room AC was very cold. Would definitely recommend this place for a fishing vacation. Can t beat it!

Stayed there for 4 night this year, this is the 3rd year in a row we wave stayed at this location for our annual fishing trip. The location is great, the ability to hang out under the motel with your boat tied up is great and having a private boat ramp and fish cleaning station is great. But thats where the good ends, it has definitely taken a downward spiral in the last 3 years, power was out, on almost all the receptacles down stairs , including the power for the raw water/ sewage sump pump that was over flowing and spilling into the canal, each room has a TV but no service, the blankets (or lack thereof) was insane. The ability to locate someone to get some of these issues were non existent, Ice machines non-functional......so basically you had a place to lay down and a shower (it had plenty of hot water)......if your looking for just a basic place to sleep for a fishing trip then this is definitely the place, has access to a bait store, and a place to get fuel and ice, and the Leeville Seafood restaurant is great....but the hotel is BARE BONES!!!!!

When it was run by Bill Seeber it was a great camp. The last time I stayed there it was full of oyster boats. Who in the hell wants to dock a nice bay boat next to an oyster boat. That experience drove me up to Sportsman Paradise. Much better accommodations and food.

New owners working very hard to fix the place up . Doing a great job giving the place much needed attention. Everything is so conviently located once you are there , bait shop , resteraunt , gas all within walking distance of your room ! Wake up in the morning get in your boat that is tied to your room and go get em !

We go here at least once a years and we love the fishing! It's not the Hampton Inn by no means, it's a fishing camp. You can dock your boat at your camp and park your truck right under your camp/room. We have never had a problem with other campers, most of the time your going to to make a new friend if your a friendly person as well. This is our absolute favorite fishing camp and we been to the all of its in Louisiana!

Clean rooms at a decent price. Staff was very accomodating. Nice to be able to pull your boat right up to the room for the night. Easy access to some great places to fish.

it's a really nice camp we cough good fish there. they take really good care of the camp and the owners are real nice. the only down side of the camp is that at the lanch on low tide the water can drop down to 6in or less so. bit other than that's it is a nice place

Unsatified Customer!! The manager didn't do his job correctly. We made reservation and someone else was park in our slot with his truck and boat. And the manager and his drinking buddy took their sweet time to remove his truck but not his boat. We paid good money to rent this place.

We rented the motel that had a full kitchen. We were looking for a clean place to sleep and eat and we found it. This place truly is a fisherman's motel...simple. The staff was friendly and every time we came in from a morning fishing session our room was cleaned and bathroom restocked. Thank you Boudreaux!

Place smells like smoke. Had to wash all of my clothes when I got home. List of rules is prohibitive and make enjoying a stay here difficult. Got fussed at my site personnel for charging batteries of boat. I won't be back.

Made reservations on June 20th for me & my husband for a fishing get away weekend. I call the office as I get close to check to see when the office closes and lady tells me she didn't have our reservation & no rooms available. I even told her the room number that was booked & she wasn't for any helping us out. We stayed here before but will not be back. Was close to Galliano Inn so pulled over. Luckily they had a room.
