Since I brought my car in August of 2023, The crew at this Valvoline has ensured that my car stays properly tuned up for anything and everything I can through at my car. From oil changes, to tire checks these guys know there stuff and I will be returning to them again and again.

I went in to get my oil changed and they found a bad cell in my battery. I was told by the genius at the famous AUTO parts chain that the battery was fine. Thank You!

I have never wanted to ever do this but here is what is happening. The one service that they don't have listed is Safety inspections. I had one done a almost a year ago for two years. My inspection sticker which still has over a year left is now lifting off the windshield after doing extensive research and calling customer service I'm told that they are able to replace the sticker. I get both locations one of which did have any stickers to told they can't do that because the DMV keeps up with that kind of stuff. So I will have to pay to have it replaced. Well if that's the case I will be going somewhere else to have it replaced because they should be able to remove the faulty one and send it back to the DMV. So I recommend that you don't think of Valvoline as a one stop shop. I was thinking about taking my business elsewhere anyway. If you don't want the Laws in your life don't go to Valvoline to get that inspection sticker.

The gentlemen working on April 1st (Saturday morning) were absolutely wonderful. I came in for an oil change as I was leaving for deployment the next day. During the oil change the staff member asked me if I d been having issues turning my truck on and I said yes. He then took the time to explain (and showed me on the iPad) how my battery was performing and how it should be. I immediately told him I wanted the battery replaced as well. They got it done within 15 minutes. Really friendly and knowledgeable.

I DO NOT CHANGE MY OWN OIL. EVER! I've gone to many oil change places and these guys are the best. The company I was going to before put my oil filter on wrong and when confronted, totally denied. The first time I went to Valvoline it was on Airline north of 220. While getting oil changed I asked about their a/c (charge,tune,service whatever) work. Pay, I think $169, if their work didn't fix my a/c it was free. While I was sitting there their mechanic went to auto parts store and got the part I needed no extra charge. I knew then this was the place. Next oil change was at old minden and airline. Fast, friendly, in and out, an awesome job again! Took mom's 05 minivan to their store on pines rd. Again these guys went above and beyond. Van hasn't been driven in months and has close to 200,000 miles. While taking the dipstick out it broke, they didn't break it the 17 yrs and 200k broke it, when everything was complete the young man very apologetically informed me about the break. No problem, seriously. He said they didn't have a replacement on site but the manager had gone to purchase a new one and would be back shortly. Less than 5 minutes and I was on my way. Honestly they could have not told me and I would have never noticed the extra few minutes or the new dipstick (see top of post). Valvoline instant oil change has a customer for as long as I have a vehicle. And with these guys servicing my vehicles that's going to be a long time. Way to go guys, good job!

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. All of the services I have had, from oil changes to new wiper blades and tire rotations, are performed in a professional and efficient manner. I try to go e business to various locations instead of sticking with just one - won't be making that mistake again! Very poor professionalism, did not check fluids, did not air tires (had to ask),. They were all standing outside with no other cars, but had an annoyed attitude like they didn't want me there. Would not recommend!Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

I went in Saturday morning for a oil change been going there they have all new ppl this was Worst day of my life they broke a line that run to my AC and didn t tell me they did not check anything had to ask are you going to check my tire pressure Very poor professionalism will not recommend any one to one on Airline Dr next to donut shop Bossier City.

In and out really easy.. Got the oil changed, air filter changed.. Fast friendly service.. 30 minutes after I left.. Totalled my car ... Guess I'll take my new one to them now..

The employees here are always helpful. I get my oil changed here. When I go out of town I have them look everything over for me before hitting the road.

I was pleased that I would be able to get in to get my oil changed without waiting half a day. (As what would have happened @ the place I usually went).The challenge came in when they were out of my oil filter. They told me to go purchase the filter @ auto zone and come back.Well my quick in and out came to a longer than expected experience. See both lanes were now occupied and I was the one who had to wait. Yes they took the price I paid for the filter off my cost. But nothing else for my troubles. So the excitement I had for a quick oil change was Gone.My opinion, they should have sent an employee across the parking lot to get the filter & I would have not lost my place in line.

I have been to this location several times to get my oil change and have always been pleased with the experience. This time was no different. The employees were very courteous and friendly. David and the manager on duty notified me of the awesome deal that they had for windshield wipers so I ended up with an oil change and practically free windshield wipers. Overall, I received great service!

Good friendly techs. Fast service.They really should invest in a/c it s not fast enough when it s 100 degrees outside and you are sitting in your vehicle for 15 minutes. It gets pretty warm in there since your vehicle is off.

I recently got a foreign car that needed service. The dealership never got back to me about scheduling an appointment, however from the time I called Valvoline to taking my car in, I received excellent service. I was given a coupon via text after our call, then when I went in, I didn't have to wait and they executed the oil change and my state inspection! They even removed an unwanted sticker for me! I highly recommend Valvoline and plan to definitely go back!

I normally always change my oil myself. But lack of time this week lead me to dropping in. David and his team at this location were awesome! Great professional work. Also had great tips and info on future service. His team communicted and performed like a wll oiled machine! Great employees you got here. Oh and all of this in the hot Louisiana heat! Will recommend this store for sure! Great job guys!

I actually had a great time getting an oil change today. Everyone working on my truck was super friendly and informative. It seems like a great work environment for them and I'll definitely be back. I really appreciate being able to watch them and ask questions instead of sitting in a waiting room. Thx guys (and gal)

On Columbus Day while visiting my daughter in Bossier City, LA I stopped at Valvoline to get my oil changed. While changing my oil and checking my air filter they neglected to reconnect my intake hose. Soon after my car starts running bad. Seeing as how I am not a mechanic, I took my car to a mechanic to have it looked at. He did a diagnostic on the car which told him the oxygen sensor needed to be replaced. After buying the part and replacing the part the car was still not running right. At that point he asked me who had last serviced my car. My car is fairly new and hasn t really had any big servicing done and I did tell hem about getting my oil changed. That is when he told me what he had found. This mechanic had done exactly what he was suppose to do so I paid him what we had agreed on. I later called Valvoline to see if they would agree to at least help me with the cost. The first time I called I was told to gather my invoices and there would be no problem. I got everything together and they called me back to tell me that if I had called them instead of a mechanic they would have been happy to take care of it. I am not a mechanic and have very little knowledge of a car. But when my car is running bad to call the guy that changed my oil is not my first though. By the way, after getting my oil changed I drove back home to Ft. Worth, TX. So glad my car didn t stop I. The middle of nowhere.

They service was great, they are short staffed but they are doing the best that they can and keeping you informed while they work. It's just so much easier to be able to go here and keep all the kids in the car versus trying to sit with them in a waiting room

I only gave this location 3 stars because David was really sweet and attentive unlike his RUDE job hating employee with the big tattoo on his arm that says family over everything. That employee thought it was appropriate to say he was ready to quit and complained they needed to hire more people. Im going back to get his name so I can call cooperate!BUT David made up for that by providing me with GREAT customer service.

They had the oil my vehicle required, which was great, but the professionalism was beyond lacking this visit. Topside called me"baby". This is absolutely unacceptable. Furthermore, my windshield wiper fluid and tire pressure was not checked as is customary. When I received my receipt, it listed my tire pressure at 35 psi. I asked the gentleman if he checked my pressure and told him it was low when I came in for my oil change. His was response was, "Yes, I did, but I'll double check for you." After filling all 4 tires he came back to my window and commented how low the tire pressure was. He stated the pressure on all four tires was between 25-27 psi. I was lied to on my receipt and then verbally lied to before the issue was corrected.

The service at this location was quick and great. The employees are very professional, friendly, and very helpful. They were even able to identify that I had an oil leak that wasn't identified during my last oil change!

I purchased a defective battery from Valvoline June 30, 2021. On August 9th, I noticed that my 2007 Toyota 4-Runner was turning over slowly. On August 11th, I was stranded in town. Once I got it running (jump started), my husband and I proceeded to go to this Valvoline with the receipt for the battery to have the battery replaced. They tested the battery saying it was good and that we need to go to Auto Zone to have the alternator and starter tested. We did go to Auto Zone, and they tested the battery, alternator, and starter, and all tested good except the battery. We returned to Valvoline telling them what Auto Zone found, and they retested the battery saying it was good even though it was proven it was bad. They were going on about the exchange policy. We returned to Auto Zone where they tested everything, and my husband explained how Valvoline was responding with poor customer satisfaction. Auto Zone proceeded to call the Valvoline manager, and the manager called up this Valvoline since the local manager was out that day. They reluctantly replaced the battery and were also stalling us once it was replaced keeping the hood up on the vehicle and delayed giving us the receipt. They were acting unprofessional telling me if the vehicle doesn't turn over properly that they were going to put the original defective battery back in! They even tested the new battery saying it was at a lower charge than the original defective one! However, my vehicle turned over and cranked like it should once the new battery was installed. My husband has some mechanical experience, and he noticed that the workers weren't using proper safety measures or tools for the battery placement. They were using metal and power tools working on electrical systems, and they were not wearing hard hats in the oil changing bay as we were watching them go underneath another customer's vehicle to change the oil. If I could give this review no stars I would. I ALWAYS use Valvoline. I went in late June to get my oil changed before my vacation. Two weeks later I was on barksdale when all of a sudden my 2016 Ford that I just got at the end of January over heated. Luckily I was able to drive to the closest body shop and have it checked out. Turns out my cooliant jug was completely dry. (no there are no cracks or leaks in my jug) valvoline failed to air up my tires and top off my fluids. When I asked him to air up my tires he asked what the pressure was on and he said oh. That will be fine. If I was not close to a body shop I would have been stranded and possibly ruined my new vehicle. They usually always top off my fluids and air up the tires. Im very dissatisfied in the service I received due to their negligence I could have lost my vehicle. I will not be returning to this location and I honestly don t think anyone else should either if y all plan on keeping your vehicles in good condition.Service: Oil change
