If you want your vehicle to leave in running condition do not take it here! My husband brought my truck here to have a broken/stuck bolt removed from the lower intake manifold after the bolt broke while trying to change the thermostat . Instead of fixing the truck- they were unable to removed the bolt and decided without consulting us-to drill a hole next to the old thermostat hole. This completely ruined the lower intake unit. (See pictures) They tried to find a new unit and install one so we wouldn t know what they had done but only managed to install a part from the wrong year of truck which was incompatible. By the time they had told us four separate times our truck would be done- and when we showed up it was still in pieces, we ended up just paying someone to tow it back to our home so we can fix it ourselves since they proved incapable of doing so over two weeks time. When we got it back home we discovered they also had lost one of our fuel injectors, chipped another fuel injector, and broke our throttle cable. We gave them a running truck to remove a stuck bolt on and through their lack of knowledge they managed to send it home to us in pieces. They were terrible about communicating throughout the two weeks they had it and when they did were very rude. My husband paid them just to be done with it but we essentially paid them to break our truck. Do yourself a favor and never come here if you actually want your vehicle fixed.Service: Engine repair

Went there to get a U-Haul and it was a mess. We waited over a hour in the hot sun with other people. How you going to have a sign on the door saying you are on the property and no one is on the property. Was paid for that night for our truck and no one was there that morning. We will not go here again and telling others not to either. Also wanted to add the guy almost hit me with his car.

The folks at The Auto Repair Shop delivered the best vehicle repair experience that I could have asked for! Very responsive, reassuring, efficient, and affordable. I hit a curb, after which it sounded like my engine was going to fall out, to my untrained ears! It turned out to be a minor repair, but here's the thing...they could have told me anything! When you are at the mercy of someone else's area of expertise, its refreshing to find someone who is honest, and who doesn't seek to take advantage. One hour and 70.00 later, my vehicle was ready to go, and quiet as can be! Thank you, Mr. Don and staff, you deserve this awesome review, and I hope it sends a lot of business your way!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Brought my car into the shop October due to power steering hose leak, I let them replace it, I paid for the parts and labor. After a month, November 7th Saturday, again, my car broke in the middle of the road, I had a massive leak. My car had to be towed to their shop, but they're close. So I left it there and wait till Monday, to see them and know what's going on but did not get any precise information until Tuesday of afternoon until I decided to come by and able to speak to one of the mechanic coz the front desk guy never answered they're freaking phones (unbelievable) and only to found out it was the same power steering hose that were being REINSTALLED. It was a faulty installment from my previous visit to them. Worst part is, even though I was still in the 30 days warranty they asked me to pay $300 for labor and parts to fix their mistake. The guy on front desk lied to me on phone calls finally able to speak this front desk guy tells me it was the other hose thats leaked and says a lot of steering hose on the car. Won't even give me a receipt till that I paid for what he is claims to be broken only to find out it is re-installed.The guy on front desk threatens customer by yelling and is very rude, doesn't want you to talk, act like a gangster on the shop, very unprofessional even the owner hears because he is there. The Mechanic, as reasonable and honest, but everyone else is unprofessional. Would never ever go back to "The auto repair shop" on East Texas Bossier city. Would never let them get a penny with me. Negative five star for me. They might get a $300 from me, but karma will find it's way to them.

Earl & Don are honest, quick and do excellent work. This is the 2nd time I've used The Auto Repair Shop now. Both times expecting it to cost a pretty penny and it ended up being something minor. In & Out the same day both times.

Fixed my timing issue that another shop had completely fumbled up and at an awesome price. Appreciate that there is still a shop out there that will reasonably price a quick fix. - Colton
