I have a 2011 Ram 1500 5.7l MDS. I had a lifter fail on cylinder 5 and ruin the camshaft lobe. I chose the kit with the AMS lifters, oil pump, and timing kit. This was a great price as I had also priced OEM. The one thing that I was disappointed with was that the kit does not come with an oil pan gasket. I removed the pan to clean the sump screen. It may be a re-usable gasket, but I replaced it. I have roughly 200 miles on the truck and could not be more satisfied. It idles so quietly and runs so well. The customer service is timely. The parts came quickly. My neighbor has purchased two AOD kits for GM per my recommendation.

AMS Racing got my Forged 408 short block out ahead of schedule getting my car up and running way quicker than if I were to wait for local machine shops. No offense to the local guys but I needed this project done quickly. Short block was beautiful and I could find no flaws in their work. Build sheet included is a comforting touch when spending this kind of money. Have about 300 miles on the new engine combination and so far everything is peachy. Rings seated and making power. Oil change looks good and cut open filter after a 100 miles showed nothing scary. 50 to 70 plus PSI of oil pressure. Thanks guys for the excellent product.

I had my 392 sent down there from real modern performance TWICE, had the engine rebuilt for the second time and I m still having ticking and knocking noises going on, I just want my car fixed, I ve invested way too much money in it for it to still be doing what it s doing. If the owner could reach out to me it would be great. Thanks

I bought a gen 3 396 stroker short block from these guys. The engine building kept me updated through the build. They ask me a series of questions for my plan which is na and set up my engine just for that. We are at 400 miles on the set up and made good power and expected to run c16 through it after Christmas. It was well crate when shipped.

Dont waste your time or effort on these guys. Quality is extremely bad from what I've seen. They shouldn't be building racing engines clearences we're way off and it shows. Dont worry brother your all over YouTube and just because my name isnt the one on your list doesn't mean I wasn't a customer.

I saw my engine on dyno today and was very pleased w results. It exceeded my expectations. Raymond Kitler has worked with me personally during the build and is the only one that I would let build my engines. This place, terrible. Bought a gen 3 426 stroker motor from them in October and still dealing knocking issues on the bottom part of my motor. Purchased a cam with the motor they didn t have the decency the give me the proper kit for the came. The genius Shawn told me to use stock push rods for the cam which was completely wrong I ve wasted a lot of money and time trusting that these guys knew what they were doing but comes to it I was dealing with complete amateurs. Funny thing is they discontinued my motor right after I bought it my bet it is because they had too many costumer complaints. STAY AWAYService: Auto engine tuning

I have been using AMS Racing for a few years now to supply my customers with AFM or DOD delete kits. Every order has been filled successfully, and on time. No excuses ever made, even during the massive parts shortage the nation has recently went through. Customer service has always been top notch, Raymond always takes care of us. Excellent company. Picked up a Hemi MDS delete kit from them last week. They have great pricing and the right options for this kit. Shipped to me in only a few days and was packaged well. This is tough to do with such heavy parts. Got a call from my mechanic a few days later that we were having trouble with the CompCam camshaft spinning freely. The old cam, while totally fubar from lifter failure, did still go back in and spin so we suspected a slightly bent cam. I called tech support at AMS and within 30 seconds was told they would handle and get back to me. Within 2 hours I had a call back and a return label to ship back the cam. Love the urgency without me even having to fuss. I know a good local machine shop here in Charlotte who was able to true up the cam and polish off about .0005 from the journals, getting the new cam back in and spinning freely the same day. While I didn't need the return label in the end it was refreshing and appreciated to see them value solving my issue so highly. They even sent me a free t-shirt to offset my time and money fixing the cam. I will be a repeat customer and recommend them to anyone needing any product or service they offer. My machinist recommended a cam swap in my small Chevy so, I started shopping for a roller cam and lifters to fit the specs.I got the part number for the cam and lifters and started looking for a supplier that had them in stock.This was not an easy task because supply chain issues are making the raw materials hard to get for the manufacturers.I called AMS and they had one set of the lifters left in stock (they didn't have the cam).They didn't take phone orders but directed me to their website for ordering. I placed the order on Wednesday and the lifters were at my door on Friday.I was happy to see that they didn't raise prices due to the scarcity as the price was in line with the MSRP.All in all a very positive experience. I will be sure to check with them as I continue to buy parts.

I Purchased an AFM Delete kit for a 2018 Silverado with a 5.3 engine. AMS was very helpful and knowledgeable with the purchase. Shipping was super quick and packed well. After installation I needed some help with the tuner, and they went above and beyond to help me. Excellent company that I would recommend to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere order a dod kit for 2015 silverado made a tune according to the specs of the cam it bend 2 push rods lifters where noisy and loud like there customers service, DO NOT BUY FROM HERE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE THEY WONT RETURN YOUR MONEY BACK!! SCAM SCAM, more than likely they buy there 5 star reviews

Great guys, little hard to get ahold of and I feel like every time Shawn answers the phone he puts me on hold and forgets about me but once I got in touch with a man I believe was named Jon, I got all the info I needed on the parts I wanted and he even priced out what it would cost to get some minor machine work done on the part I needed which was very fairly priced. This company has the rudest employee by the name of Shawn who works there. Shawn hung up on me twice and refused to put his manager on the line. He has no type of professionalism, not sure if they are understaffed or if he was having a bad day but it is completely unacceptable to hung on a customer who is trying to purchase $1,300 worth of parts. Shawn was curt, incompetent, disrespectful, and snarky. I m not sure if he treated me as such because I m a female but I ve never had to deal with a company like this. I expressed to Shawn I m a manager at a financing company and if any of the employees we re to treat a customer the way he did they would be facing big disciplinary actions, his response to that was Good for you I hope his manager reads this review and is able to coach him on how to better assist customers who WANT to purchase $1,300 worth of parts from this small business. I will also be filing a BBB complaint since they wanted to cancel both of orders and claim to refunded my card back yet no money has been refunded so now I have a total of $3,200 dollars that have been processed on my card and two confirmation emails saying both of orders have been canceled. I would not recommend any to make any purchases from this company.Service: Engine repair

I ordered a suprcharger for my Camaro and during the preparation for it's arrival I discovered I had spun a cam bearing on my original engine. While googling new short blocks I came upon the AMS 416" stroker for the LS3.While trying to explain to my wife that a running engine needed to be replaced I couldn't help but notice the value for the shortblock at AMS.Like most consumers, I am on a budget. It was already blown by the fact that the original motor was done.I ordered AMS's racing's 416 shortblock and worked with a local tuner for my cam and valve springs. I am a novice and built the remainder in my garage myself.I decided to be budget friendly for the build and wait to purchase a full fuel system. With AMS's short block and FIC 850 injectors paired with a LSA supercharger from Boost District the motor laughed at me and made 600hp on 4 lbs of boost.I had AMS file the rings for 15lbs of boost. This motor will be utilized to it's fullest potentail very soon, but I can honestly say that with 2500 miles and a dyno session, this combo is bulletproof.

Ordered a stage 3 NSR cam for my 2012 ram 5.7. Can came quick and is absolutely phenomenal. Paired with a 6.4 truck intake and tuning i went from 290hp to the tire to 413hp and 434tq at the tire. Bought a $1300 afm,dod, vvt delete kit. Does not include various gaskets or harnnes adapter for vvt delete. Does not have water pump gasket, valve cover gasket, exhaust manifold gaskets, intake gaskets, cam retainer plate/bolts, cam tensioner, vent port orings. This is not a COMPLETE KIT. Save your money and call a local BTR dealer, they will get you every nut and bolt needed for the same cost.Service: Engine repair

I ordered a block from them a little while ago and went to install the cam today and it would not fit past the second bearing . Taking it to machine shop to see what happened . They re sending me new bearings but still have to go to shop . They were helpful

This company is awesome! Their prices are unmatched. Got some springs and almost every bearing I needed for my 5 3 for less than 120 bucks. Best kept secret as far as price for the name brands they sell. Will be buying from them whenever I can

Ordered a set of pistons and rings off eBay for my business. During installation a technician had damaged one of the rings. Called AMS and told them my situation, and they sent me a new pack of rings next day. AMAZING customer service!! I ve used them before in the past but they definitely have a lifetime customer, and would recommend them to anyone!

Update, got refunded but still sending me emails with snarky comments. I would have given them a better review but I guess some people just don't get it.Worst experience, horrible customer service and overcharged for no reason and won't pay me back. Constant lying and making excuses
