Walked in was greeted, lady ask me what I needed. I told her I needed test done on altanater/ battery/ starter. Her reply was oh we don't do that. You have a sign that says you do. Needless to say I took my business else where. I'm done with this place. This is the second time she has told me we don't offer this service.

I've been using Advanced Auto Parts for a long time now. They e always been a good resource for just about any part you might need for your vehicle(s). This store's Clerks are always friendly and very helpful. I recommend Advanced Auto Parts on Barksdale Blvd for all your automotive shopping.

No disrespect to this company....but as a consumer I buy a quart of Coastal 10W40W motor Oil at Wally World for like $3.75....Than I buy the same exact [email protected]. for $8 dollars..This PhattBoy has a problem with that 3X mark up..NopeAs a consumer just paying for the name that's printed on the container..Wake up look on the back at the Oil Spec Sheet it's all the same...Except for some Synthetic Oils...SHOP SMARTER NOT HARDER....

This place is pathetic! I call about a battery for my 2011 GMC truck! Counter boy said he had it in stock and I was on my way to pick it up and ask if he could throw it in! He stated and I quote NO WE DONT INSTALL ON THOSE VEHICLES BECAUSE OF THE FUSE BOX IS IN THE WAY! I told him the fuse box is on the driver side can you help me cause I have a broke arm and I m limited to what I can do and he flat out said No! His name is Matt! Auto Zone was more than helpful! Can t wait for the new part store to open next door!

Bar none the product automotive parts are cheaply made in China with a warranty that's not worth the paper it's written on or the thousands of dollars that you spent. Management does not care about your warranty issues I would not buy any more product or recommend this company to anybody that I know if you are looking for parts find someplace else save your time save your money

Called ahead, asked for part. Employee stated that they had the part in his hand, quoted me the price. I told them I would be right there. 5 minutes later, when I arrived they didn't have it. Was using their own cellphone to look up inventory.

Asked front counter worker to help me find some clips and showed what I need and he looked at clip and said it's down that aisle and left me look by self. He was not helpful at all, even had attitude when my husband called up there and I was standing in front of register.

They did a great job for me. I thought I might need a new battery and after they ran their free test on it, they agreed that it was not holding a charge. They even changed it out for me for free. They do stuff like this all of the time. They're a great place for auto parts and service.

I would strongly suggest that you visit the Advavced Auto that is closest to the corner of Airline Dr and Barksdale Blvd.They are extremely nicer there, verses the one down Barksdale Blvd.That's just my personal preference any how.

Purchased a code scanner to reset steering angle sensor. Was assured by clerk it would do what I needed. It did not! Store won't accept it back for a refund. Didn't point out return policy at time of purchase and policy not posted in store. This store will RIP you off!

My husband bought wiper blades for my car in May. The car has not been out of the garage enough to test the blades. Last week I picked up the wiper blade arm to wash the windshield and the wiper fell off. Checked the other side and same thing, wiper fell off. The receipt says 1 year warranty. We took the blades back to Advance, bought new blades by a different manufacturer. Manager would not replace the blades under warranty, says "it's over 90 days, nothing I can do".We will never go back to this store again. It is the closest to us, but we'll drive to Coushatta before we will darken their doors again!

Just went by there to get a hose for my windshield wiper fluid and both guys working came out and took a look and fixed it in minutes! They could have just sold me whatever I asked for but they took the time to make sure it was what I needed! Thank yall so much! It's the small things.

These guys haven't steered me wrong yet. You won't have to answer stupid questions before you buy the part you need because they know their stuff! You can walk in with a spark plug and they'll get you a new one without you having to tell them if you vehicle is an automatic or standard, has a/c, or what kind of tires are on it. They sell parts that you want and need and appreciate you being there. You'll never get that at the orange box store.

Friendly staff and vast selection make this a good selection. Free engine code reader and battery testing services also add value to this location. Prices are reasonable for most items as well. They will likely know what you need and have it in stock.

Went in yesterday on the 16th of Dec . To get some metric bolts. At checkout the I asked for military discount. The guy said no cause it would only be 60 cents. Well i was in a hurry so whatever. But I went to the other Bossier Advance and the customer service was awsome of ourse the dude that checked me out was a VET also. I will see what corporate has to say.

I'm from Arizona we don't have many advanced autos left that I know of It was nice to see in advance Auto and the people that worked in they were great I couldn't remember the guy's name but he really helped me out with something for my sister's car and I'm quite quite happy so thank you very much.

Went to another auto parts store, no one wanted to help or say hi. Walk in here at Advance Auto Parts, James and Dee welcome me and help me get what I need at a very reasonable price! A big THANKYOU to James! A big THANKYOU to Dee. I really appreciate it!

As a woman, I don't know engine sizes or thw man stuff about a vehicle. I went into the barksdale store next to sonic needing oil changing items for two vehicles. Mine and my husband's. Well, I have not been treated this rudely in a long time. And also had a 11 yr old with a sprain ankle on a cane and had all the stuff to carry out and help my granddaughter in truck. Not once did he even offer to help carry out my gallons of oil and stuff. I hope god blesses him and maybe he will change his attitude next time and AT least offer to help my granddaughter.Ssincerely,Shelley

I had a problem with car starting sluggishly. The store representative tested my battery for free but spotted a broken clamp connecting the battery cable to my battery's negative terminal. The rep then installed a new clamp to fix this problem instead of selling me a new battery. This less than $4.00 repair saved me from spending $100+ on a new battery and kept my car running. Thanks.
