My wife brought in her Audi Q7 to fix a cracked control arm after hitting a curb. I wish I could honestly put less than 1 star, as what this company did to her car has put us in a position that we will likely sell it for scrap money. They took the car apart and put it back together so many times that our most recent evaluation from a reputable company has over 18 alerts firing (leaking oil, super charger ruined, transmission needing replacement, etc). The new car repair company refused to touch the vehicle in fear that the cost to fix it would be prohibitive, if they could even fix it. Super disappointed in this entire experience. I would be very careful bringing a vehicle to this facility.

My mother, Carolyn Anderson visited this place on 11.06.23. She stated that the mechanic, Mr. Roger provided outstanding customer service as she was treated with so much respect and concern about her vehicle. I m very unhappy with Moberly s. I contacted them to do some work on my Volvo. I brought them the estimate that I received from the dealership and they stated that they could guarantee the work at a cheaper price because they charge less for labor. I gave them a list of exactly what needed to be done and they said they could fix it for $1400. They did the work, and when I picked the car up I noticed a new issue. My car was now not only not fixed but they broke the oil cap and it was shooting oil out. I drove the car back to their shop and they replaced the cap free of charge. A few weeks later I noticed I was having the exact same issues as I originally went here for. I brought it back again for a third time. This time they quoted me $1800 in additional work that needed to be done. Here s the kicker. The original work that was done wasn t on the list of needed repairs from the dealership because they believed they could fix the issues in a more cost effective way. Now I m needing to do the same repairs I told them to do in the first place and they are quoting me more than the estimate I got from Volvo!!! I will never do business with them again. I feel like I paid for unnecessary work and they didn t repair the issues I had.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

I've been here 3 times and each time I received excellent customer service. They do real good work. They are very knowledgeable. I trust them and appreciate their service. Integrity is what I look for and these guys seem to have it. Not so much the price.

First off, I would like to say that they did Everything that I asked & I was updated on everything that needed to be done to my vehicle. Brock stayed on top of everything! But I must say this business is 100 percent honest!! I overpaid & the owner called me back the same day & explained the mixup & told me to come pick up my amount that I was overpaid! Not only that, she offered to meet me to give me the money! I really appreciate the honesty of the business & the time Frame that I was given to get my vehicle back was accurate! I recommend going to this repair shop for your needs!! Thanks guys, we really appreciate everything you guys did!

Kept car for 3 days without even looking at it . When I pop up they were having a family reunion! Car fixing wasn't on the menu. Politely got my keys and left .Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

This shop is a scam. Very sketchy and rip people off. They lie and are very unprofessional. Avoid this place at all costs. Don t be tricked with their scheme to save you money. Extremely untrustworthy and a high risk for your money. You re better off going to real professionals who know what they re talking about and are held accountable. People who won t take your money and then not fix the problem (and in my situation create new problems and then try to shift the blame). I wish I never brought my car to this shop. Promised satisfaction, I paid a lot of money, and believe me when I say I was very unhappy with their disservice. And trust me when I tell you this is a conservative review. There are common threads amongst the dissatisfied reviewers on here. You should take them into great consideration before even thinking about trusting this place with your car and money. Personally my best recommendation is - DON T.

Chris is very knowledgeable with Saturn's and did an amazing job fixing my car. Thanks so much!!! Brock did a fantastic job keeping me updated and informed. Great customer service skills. Mr. David and his wife Ruby are very honest folks. They let me know what was wrong with my car. They were patient and worked with me. Highly recommend!!!

Very welcoming environment great customer service the waiting area is a bit small but they have 30 years experience in what they do I had an oil change done it was a little bit over $200 they are certified so the labor price is like if you would take it to a dealer .

Moberly's took over 2 months to complete a repair that should have taken only a week to complete. After installing the wrong parts & damaging other parts that then had to be replaced the job kept being extended over & over again. I tried to be patient but after they finally repaired my car & I got it home & started looking, it was missing parts & it's still leaking oil! 4 total parts that equal $250 plus the thousands I paid to get the oil leak fixed. Don't ask me how in the world you you send a car in for repair for 2 months to only get it back missing more parts than you started with. Unfortunately, I had already paid for the work done on the car & the owner keeps blowing me off about the missing parts. He said he found some of the parts but won't tell me which ones (weird) & just keeps stating over & over again that he'll get with me about replacing the parts. This has been going on for 4 months now & I'm fed up so I had to submit a review. Do not waste your time & money at this car shop, please look around at other shops. Only use this shop if all others close down & this is the last shop open in Baton Rouge.

I can't believe anyone would have a negative experience here. David and his wife Ruby were very professional and helpful. He got my car in quickly, diagnosed the problem and got me on my way quickly. He went over the car and brought me out to see what he had found.(Back brakes are almost gone) He did not pressure me to get them fixed, he just wanted me to be aware. I will absolutely be back!

The most reasonable prices I could find for my Volkswagen. I've been to this place 3 times because I was so impressed with their work and their knowledge for Volkswagen. These types of places are hard to come by. I am forever grateful for their honesty and care! I definitely feel like a valued customer whenever I come here. I love that it is family owned and operated as well. I highly recommend Moberly's!

Hands down these people are incredible! They are very devoted and knowledgeable and very honest. I was told upfront what the issue with my vehicle was and I was charged exactly what I expected to pay for the repair of my vehicle. I will continue to use them in the future because I have faith in their mechanics to resolve any issues I may have with my vehicle. Thank you!

Took care of some emergency work to get my vehicle up and running quickly. Not to mention the ice storm that had LA on a State of Emergency. Although the cost was higher than expected, I was handled with professionalism and a courteous attitude given the situation. My repair came with a two year warranty, I believe they would stand by. Multi-generation family business. I recommend them if you need VW or other German import repair.

I have a Porsche Cayenne, I went to another Mechanic and he said that I need major work done and wanted to charge me an outrageous price. I was then recommended to see Moberly's and it was the best thing that could happen. I bought my Porche in and he found out that it was something really minor and were able to fix it literally the same day. I will not only bring my Porsche there, but my Mercedes and Nissan. Great prices and honest. Thanks

These guys are the best! Driving a 78 VW bus cross country, I was stranded in the rain at 5:30 on a Friday evening. They towed me to their shop, diagnosed the problem, ran across town for a new starter, AND repaired my car, after closing time, at the beginning of the weekend. Who does that these days? I made it to my next destination on schedule and bus is still starting like a champ, 8061 miles around the U.S. so far. I feel so incredibly lucky to have found them.

David Moberly and his son are fantastic people. I had a few issues with a 2009 Tiguan and they were always knowledgeable, fair-priced, and quick. Certainly trusted them anytime my VW had an issue.

My experience today was very disrespectful and unprofessional.David the owner kept telling me that he was going to call me back after Brain Harris Porsche called him back to let him know what the fault code meant that popped up on my Porsche.Then after a few hours had passed, I called him back close to the end of the day and he kept telling me that he hadn't heard anything from Porsche. So I told him that it didn't look like it would get done and he told me that I could take it to Porsche if I wanted to, then he hung up the phone in my face. Very unprofessional. He got upset because I made him aware of the fact that I realized his shop COULD NOT DO THE JOB.Then he told me that he was cool with all of the technicians at Porsche and that his mechanic who supposedly does work on Porsche cars, came from Brian Harris Porsche, but the people at Porsche called this guy a liar and said that they were going to investigate him for claiming those things.Stay away from this shop.

Brock and David are SUPER friendly and helpful.. They weren t able to fix my car problem due to a defect in the part that was coming in from Germany.. But I would DEFINITELY be a returning customer for anything else .. They make sure you are taken care of and goes above and beyond to help you out

Brought my bmw there i was having fuel issues..first off the didn't even fix my car then i got charged over hundred dollars and every part they took down the left down . I thought my hood was popped but they has my fuse box sitting on top of my motor and i guess force closed it my glove box was taken down and leff down my back seat was off back panels off and unbelievable my fuel line was just hanging under the car disconnected from my fuel filter i am so disappointed in there service and to put the cherry on top my car was there over a week

Very nice people. We are a young couple and had to get control arms replaced on a Jetta. Having busted control arms caused us to have repeated flat tires.We brought the car in with a flat tire thinking we should fix the issue before paying for a separate tire. Not only did they have our control arms replaced in the same day, they patched the flat tire for us free of charge without us needing to ask. Parts for volkswagons are expensive sometimes, this part in particular in the $400 range, so they said not to worry about the cost of the tire patch. They said they thought we could use a little help.This was our first time using mobley's, but since my girlfriend really likes VW, we'll probably be life time customers. The small acts of kindness make all the difference.

These will be the 2nd holiday my dad can't BC his car is not running and now going on a month. My poor dad paid $6000 to get it fixed which boy did they rip him off!!! For $6000 You would think it would be fixed!!! Nope and he missed Thanksgiving BC he has no car. Now a month later and David has yet moved locations again and has not returned any of my dad's calls. My dad is 79 and very diabetic plus lives on Grand Isle! I would have loved to see him for Christmas but he NO CAR!!!! HOW COULD THEY DO THIS TO HIM. NOTHING IS FIXED NOTHING! I GUESS MY 20 MONTHS OLD TWINS DONT GET TO SEE THEIR GRANDPA FOR CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!FYI I WILL RATE 1 STAR EVERY FEW DAYS UNTIL I GET JUDGES!!!! THEIVES

My 2002 VW Passat had a sudden loss of coolant that required a rapid engine shutdown. I had it towed to a VW dealer that has serviced it in the past. After an apparently cursory inspection they "declined performing or estimating any repairs due to repairs exceeding the value of the vehicle". I then had it towed to Moberly's and they quickly recognized that the coolant tank had broken. They replaced the tank, refilled coolant and pressure tested. All indications were normal on my drive home. I'm pleased to have the necessary repair done at a cost that is well below the value of the vehicle.

I have had a new motor replaced at this company a diesel pump installed numerous oil changes not to mention body work . Service is Awesome if you have an older model VW take it from me they are the ones to do the job tell them Thelma sent you

Very shady people, I'd advise having your car looked at by the dealership first to avoid being scammed. Seriously go there first and don't tell Moberly's . See how you're being flat out lied to and cheated.

Place to go for foreign cars. My car was done in less than 1 day. And they done so inexpensively. They repair all models and make but expertise in foreign.
