Brought my trailer here to get the axle replaced and some welding repairs. The service techs were helpful and knowledge. All the repairs were completed and I was able to pick up the next day!Highly recommend!

Dropped off my boat trailer to get something fixed on the rear of the trailer, I told them I wanted to come back and get my finders re-welded on both sides I just didn t have all the money for it at the moment! These guys went ahead and did it for me!!! While keeping everything at the affordable price we agreed upon.They did an awesome job and it was a great surprise! I really appreciate the great job they did!I recommend anyone in the Baton Rouge and surrounding areas to go to these guys for any issues they may have! true pros!

I would like to thank Will in service and the entire service staff. They performed several maintenance items and improvements on my trailer and the results were outstanding. They did everything they said they would do plus a bit extra, and honored their original estimate. I could not be more happy!

Very good people in time where that is rare. Everyone I met here were very helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to make sure my roll off trailer was repaired right after it had been vandalized. Great help to a small business.

Great place, highly recommend. Honest and trustworthy. Brought a boat trailer that hadn't been serviced from previous owner in years and they gave it a thorough run thru. Fixed brakes, hubs, bearings, tires, winch/ crank, etc.They gave me a 4-6 day window as they were very very busy (beginning of summer) and was ready in 4 days.They came highly recommended and I see why.

Called is place looking for some answers , and where I might could find parts to repair cargo trailers I own.The guy acted as though I was bothering him, and when I expressed I was sorry for being a bother he hung up on me. So if I ever need to purchase a trailer, or recommend a place to buy a trailer to friends,It want be these folks!!I'm a business owner, myselfCustomer service and appreciation is important

I made an appt. for my truck and trailer. Brad was awesome and he fixed it in less than 2 hours. Lisa was very accommodating with fresh coffee and conversation. Great place and good price. Many thanks to your team on Florida Blvd. !

We bought a McClain boat trailer last year and a bearing cap seal on the trailer tire went bad. We called Mike Gerald s Trailer company and spoke to Janai. She was very accommodating and professional. When I arrived with the trailer, I was met by Mike Gerald and he pulled the trailer in to a work bay, and replaced the bearing seal and I was on my way within 30 minutes. They covered this repair under warranty and were so nice and efficient. They stand behind their product and their trailers are the best! If we ever buy another trailer, we will purchase from them. They are stellar in all areas!

Thorough and accurate assessment of the issues with my boat trailer. Honest. They were able to salvage some parts instead of replacing. Completed work in 3 days. The trailer is better than it was when it was brand new. Excellent experience.

Great experience buying a new boat trailer here from Doug! Seamless from start to finish. Outstanding customer service, they unloaded my boat from the old trailer and loaded it on the new one and made adjustments to make it fit just right! They even scrapped my old trailer for me! Couldn't have been easier, couldn't be happier.Thanks!

These guys are the best! Excellent, honest work, done right the first time. The only time I have ever had an issue, they had it corrected and back on the road in a matter of hours from the time I returned it. They have done work on my boat trailer, toy hauler and my 40 food trucks.

Fantastic service. Passing through and needed my jack on my cargo trailer replaced. Talked to Will on the phone, he said to come down and they could fix me up. The staff here are absolutely the best! I appreciate the service and getting fixed up to head back on the road.

These people are awesome. I was having break issues on my trailer that needed to get back to Houston, that day. Nobody else would even look at it the same day. I came, they saw, they fixed. My office/shop is in Gonzales, but I'll be bringing everything here. Thanks a lot.

I purchased a 40 Sure Pull trailer from Mike Gerald approximately 7 years ago. I have continued buying parts throughout the years until now, and I ve always received professional service. I m posting today to recognize Will and Tim (Service Manager). I accidentally ripped my plug from my trailer wires. This happened Tuesday evening, two days prior to Thanksgiving. Upon my arrival, Mike Gerald s was closed. I was frantic, because I didn t know how I would complete my run without trailer lights and breaks. However, I noticed staff walking to their vehicles. I approached Will and asked him for help. Will agreed to help me. Next, Tim approached us, and he began to help too. Not only did they help me, these guys help me draw a diagram of the harness connector. Therefore, if I ever make a mistake again, I could repair it myself. In addition to that, they had me plug up the harness and they checked to make sure that all my trailer lights worked appropriately. I had to recognize the type of individuals that are at Mike Gerald s. Thanks again Will and Tim. I really appreciate you guys, and I will continue like y all great acts of service.Sincerely,Brian Collins

Awesome customer service! Had a wheel bearing blow out on my rv. They immediately began to work on it soon as I pulled up due to the fact I was in a hurry traveling through Baton Rouge. Knowledgeable friendly guys. Highly recommend.

So, this place has a lot to offer. But, it doesn t seem like everyone has the same expertise. I live out of town and drove in just to get some trailer parts for a boat trailer. I wasn t sure exactly what I needed, so I showed them what I had and relied on their expertise to lead me in the right direction. I was giving inadequate sized leaf springs to start out with. Then today when I had time to get a rolling chassis going with the proper leaf springs, I open the ubolt kit for the axle mount and they gave me the completely wrong ones ..I would recommend champion trailer out of Slidell over these guys.

It was enough for me to spend the time to update my review...

While trailering my horse from Florida to Texas my trailer broke down in Louisiana on a Saturday night making us have to wait till Monday to get parts to fix it. This meant my horse had to stay in the trailer for three extra days which is crazy so after attempting three places all with bad news we found these guys. Unloaded my horse while they worked on it and only took about an hour for the whole process and they were VERY reasonable on price and what had to be done. They went out of there way to get us in quick and I really appreciate it! Thanks!!!

I've been using MG for several years and they always do me right. Bought trailers from them and had them maintenance trailers that didn't come from them. This is the place to go for unbiased and honest work. Can't say enough of my positive experience with this outfit. First Class operation.

They did fantastic and efficient work to my truck and trailer. That said, i cant recommend this place. I spent time with Mike and he has a very negative attitude towards certain people....a man walked into his retail showroom as I was talking to Mike Gerald. He politely excused himself from our conversation. Walked over to the man who just entered the retail showroom then said. "We don't serve fried chicken" Mike then pointed to the exit and the man left..... This was disheartening to see.

Note to Todd: I have had the opportunity and fortune to get to know Mike Gerald as he has been a neighbor of ours (camps on False River) for over 10 years. If I could pick anyone in the world to be my neighbor it would definitely be Mike and his lovely family. He, by far, is the kindest, most generous, most uplifting, person who would give any one the shirt off his back and the last dollar in his pocket if there was someone in need! And it makes no difference who the person is!From the situation you described, it definitely sounds like he has already had some dealings with the individual, and he was not only looking out for the best interest of his business, but the customers who he considers the backbone of his business. It's sad that there are people in this world that by own their actions would cause a person of Mike's caliber to show him the way out of his business. How can I be so sure, you ask? Because I have seen this man do so much good and am willing to bet the next mess of sac-a-lait on it. Also, there are always comments confirming my thoughts of Mike from anyone I talk to who has ever been to his Trailer Depots.....and that's a LOT of people! :)
