This place may have been well operated in the past, but that hasn't been our experience.We took my wife's car here because the cigarette lighter, the radio, and the power for a side mirror wasn't working. A mechanic looked at the fuse box but couldn't fix the problem. They never placed the fuse box cover back correctly. This is important because it contains the diagram of fuse connections. My wife researched the issue, found exactly which fuse needed replacing, and fixed the problem herself for $5 for a box of replacement fuses of which she only needed 1 new fuse. I wondered why she, who doesn't know that much about cars, was able to diagnose the problem when the specialist at Gordon and Sandifer couldn't.In a completely different situation, I brought my car here because I was having problems shifting in low gears. They recommended I bring my car to a transmission shop. It turns out the problem wasn't my transmission at all. It was low hydraulic fluid - something fairly easy to diagnose. There's a reservoir on top of the engine that clearly indicates if that fluid is low. I wondered why Gordon and Sandifer didn't at least check the hydraulic fluid or know that a low hydraulic fluid could cause that kind of problem with shifting. I've brought the same car here for years for oil changes. It seems like they would have at least checked my hydraulic fluid once during all those visits.We stopped bringing our cars here because, as these examples show, we felt we weren't getting the best service.

I brought my car to get work done. Upon completion of my car my radio stop working and began blinking on a off (1 month later and it still is) my window doesn t go down and park sense doesn t work they removed my door panel and the passive touch didn t work. My trunk spring went out and of course they said it needed to be replaced. I brought my car back to them 3-5 times only for them to fix my passive touch and to tell me they didn t do nothing with electrical. My car was working perfect before the done work. I had Bullet damage to the car. The bullet didn t hit anything electrical in fact I drove it there to drop it off and everything worked fine now the owner said it s nothing they did. I m totally pissed and regret going to them. Please don t bring your car to them.

Great service. I go here for regular maintenance and tires. Awhile back I ordered and bought tires from them that ended up having a manufacturer recall a few months later, and Gordon and Sandifer replaced all four tires for free. Would definitely recommend them to anyone.

The technicians at Gordon & Sandifer are always going to return your car better than when you dropped it off. They do great work and are some great folks to work with. Being a mechanic here in the heat of the south is not an easy job, but they re going to do the very best to get your issue resolved and get your car back to you as soon as they can. I ve been very happy with the work I ve had done at G&S including having a front wheel bearing replaced as well as my front struts.Services: Steering & suspension replacement, Vehicle Inspection

I wasted time and gas driving here, for him to say "they only work on 2010 or newer cars" I called the day before and had a conversation about bringing inmy car due to accident and needing a estimate on repairs. At no point did he ask about the year of my car or state they didn't do repairs to certain cars. If someone is calling in advance to confirm if they need to schedule an appointment for repairs , at some point in the conversation it would make sense to ask what year your car is or state you'll don't do repairs on certain vehicles. I understand sense is limited for some folks but time is also. Bad business!

As an insurance adjuster, I m THOROUGHLY impressed with the process. I m used to telling customers myself that repairs can take a month so I was ready to be without my car for that long. The employee at the facility gave me an estimated completion date of around early February but I only had to keep my car there for TWO days versus a month. The car looks beautiful and I have no issues with the repairs at all. I will be recommending this place to everyone. Great service, thank you so much for the quickness in your work while also being incredibly detailed. I worked through my insurance and had to file a claim for this. The entire process from getting into the accident, filing the claim, and getting my repairs done was a total of 3 days. You lifted a huge weight off my shoulders and I can now take my trip back to Florida safely!!!Service: Auto body & trim repair

I found the staff here very helpful.Didn t charge me anything to find the leak I had and put the spare on for me.After considering my options for a day I went back to buy a new tire from them because they were so helpful. Brought my VW in for a wheel alignment after I replaced several parts. The service manager was uncertain if they could handle it since they don't normally work on VW's but agreed to check with his mechanic. They were able to do it and it went very well. The car tracks straight and the handling feels correct with good on center feel and proper turn in.Service: Wheel alignment

Gordon and Sandifer have changed both my front and rear bumpers after collisions. Each time we were treated with respect and were informed of the work required. Both times the work was performed in a timely manner (in spite of more damage discovered). We picked up a clean car which looked new. Thank you so much!

While driving through Baton Rouge my alternator went out which also fried my battery. I had to be towed to Gordon and Sandifer. It was early afternoon and they couldn't guarantee that they would be able to finish my car. Well, I was heading back home at 4 Pm. John kept me informed and the guys did an awesome job.
