I took my vehicle here and unfortunately it was the timing chain that needed to be replaced. They gave me their honest advice and told me not to put the money into the motor with it having high mileage. I really appreciate the honesty. They genuinely cared which is really hard to find nowadays. THANK YOU! Also, customer service was amazing. Just the whole experience was great.

Christian Brothers has been the most attentive and detail-oriented automotive shop I ve used, and I continue coming back because of their thoroughness and quality of work.They keep you updated via text, they call you to step you through everything. They provide photos and videos of issues for your warranty company.I have other closer choices for auto services, but I drive 20 miles out of my way to go to Christian Brothers because of their customer service and their work.

Wonderful experience, called me about my vehicle and they were upfront and honest about everything. Offered me a solution even when it didn't profit them! Something that businesses don't do anymore, Care about their customers, and not just profits! I will absolutely deal with them again and plan to drop my other vehicle off to them soon!Service: General repairs & maintenance

This is a modification of an earlier negative review and is for my father in law who does not speak English well. There was a misdiagnosis of an A/C system repair to the tune of 5k where the actual needed repair was a simple $100 part replacement. After the initial negative review, the shop reached out and has since provided a refund. Changing from 1 star to 4 for ultimately doing the right thing.

They are so fast and efficient. They always do a full check on my car even just when I only need an oil change. I highly recommend Christian Brothers Automotive to everyone looking for an honest, reasonably priced, and highly skilled automotive shop. I took a used vehicle to them for a pre-purchase inspection yesterday. The vehicle ran good and I was hesitant to take the extra time and pay for the inspection but I knew it was the right thing to do, so I made arrangements and brought it in. They ended up finding a handful of current and looming issues that would have ended up costing me more than the purchase price of the vehicle to have fixed properly. They sent me a link with photos of everything and detailed analysis. I didn t purchase this vehicle but I plan to bring every used car here for an inspection prior to purchasing. The information provided in the inspection is exactly what s needed in order to ensure you are buying a quality vehicle and also to negotiate a fair price based on items uncovered that it would have taken a skilled and thorough technician to find. In addition to this, the manager, Chris, is friendly and very knowledgeable. He s always happy to answer my questions as I m navigating this process.

Christian Brothers consistently is over-priced for their work. You can get a same job done with the same warranty at another shop for literally half the price. When I was looking at getting a timing belt changed, they wanted to charge me ~$4,000. I pulled up a timing belt kit on car parts and the OEM kit was $200. I mentioned that to him and he said well it s a big job with about 12 hours of labor. The quote to do the same job at another place was ~$1,500. Mechanics roughly get paid the same everywhere. So i would ve paid an extra ~$2500 for a warranty. You can get the same warranty elsewhere for cheaper if you really want the warranty. Besides, if they installed something incorrectly, you would know almost immediately or within a 100 miles or so; not 3 years later. Save yourself literally thousands of dollars and go somewhere else. It s absurd that this Christian company is taking advantage of people.

Their customer service people are the greatest. I had an unusual problem with my Mini Cooper and since there is no dealership around here I chose Christian Brothers and they have been wonderful. They are always so nice about listening to my concerns about my car and I always feel like they've done their best to take care of me and my little car. And they guarantee their work. I am not too sure where to start . I will start with Bernie. Bernie from the very start of the first phone call he treated me like family. Very knowledgeable and set me up with an appt. That process was seamless. He understood what my end goal was and it was to help me get my car back in good shape so I can get a few more years out of it and affordable. Drop off and pick up process was the easiest and my car was repaired in no time. What really I am most grateful for and still have not found the words to express my gratitude and love I have for Christian Brothers is when the technicians got into the thick of it there were a few more costly things that came about, after all we are talking about a 2004 Honda with lots of wear and tear on it so it was to be expected but really would have taken a big hit on my budget and without thought Christian Brothers made it happen for me. I was told your family now and we help when we can I will never forget the love they gave me and I will forever use the guys. You hear all the horrible tales of mechanics and blah blah blah . But from start I knew I didn t have to worry about any of that . And my car is running like a champ!!! Bernie and Chris are the Best! Friends for Life! They welcome you in, treat you like family and take care of all your repair needs. I loved it here! The atmosphere is so family oriented and everyone was so kind to me. I also enjoyed the fact that they were playing Christian music. I felt very welcomed & at ease while waiting for my car. My car started acting up so I took it here & turns out it was an oil leak due to another company not changing the oil and filter correctly. They figured it out right away & fixed the problem. I would definitely recommend Christian Brothers to my family & friends. I will 100% be back next time for an oil change/ maintenance. First off, as a fellow believer, I was drawn to the name instantly even though it was out of my way. That being said, this could get lengthy. When you put Christian on the name, that's bold with the understanding of who you actually represent, saying Christian. But these men and women are truly serving the people. They are kind, very considerate of the customer and go beyond the normal shops. I witnessed rides given, honest opinions, and hard truths respectfully. They even fed me personally a full Chick-fil-A meal. Lol! I'm sure they felt sorry for me, but still. The reason being I had just spent 1100 dollars at another shop on my a.c and come to find out they didn't even fix half of the problem. Unable to drive back to the original shop three hours away to do the warranty work plus additional work needed. Over two days, I observed the Christian brothers' automotive shops they took care of me and many others. Let me tell you in my line of work I travel the country. I've been in several repair shops for myself and others. These folks set the bar far above expected service. I've left out many great details to keep this as brief as possible. I dont want to mention any name and crown anyone there, but Jesus.I'm thankful I could be led to some good help. I needed it. My air has been out for over a year. What was probably minor in the beginning and me being tight cost me in the end. Don't neglect your vehicle. Put it in good hands. Christian brothers automotive is definitely the place to go!

Wheel bearing started making noise on my truck. Called Chris on my way back from Covington and asked him to order one for me. Got there around 4PM and Jason replaced it for me on really short notice. I waited on it and was on time for my daughter's wedding rehearsal. Exceptional service as always!

We were visiting Baton Rouge from Texas and had a fuel leak. This Vhristian Brothers kindly squeezed us in in spite of being fully booked and got us back on the road in just a few hours. The next day they did an engine wash at no charge to us, as we could still smell the fuel that had run onto the engine the day before. The staff there is exceptionally nice and helpful. Shout out and much thanks to Bernie! I would highly recommend this place for your car repair and maintenance needs.Service: Engine repair

My dad brought his 2018 Jeep Wrangler here and was impressed with the service and attention his Jeep received. It s hard finding a place that won t overcharge you or try to sell things that you don t need. Christian Brothers Automotive is the best place I ve been to since owning a vehicle. I brought my 2020 Nissan Rogue here and have not had one problem. No other store has even come close to the amazing service, friendliness, and attention the employees and owner give to their customers. I will never stop coming and look forward to getting my car looked at (for once in my life). If you want amazing service and your car fixed, I would recommend this place a million times! Thank you Mark, Eric, and Doris for everything you ve done for me!

Brought in my '08 F150 for an overall inspection considering it's age and our wonderful roadways here in Louisiana.Their inspection and communication process is fonominal! Photos of everything as best as possible leaving me with no questions which is great. Very quick to complete the work I needed done. Very friendly, relaxing, welcoming office as well. This location on Airline is by far the best mechanic shop I have seen that will treat you so kindly you won't hurt spending what you need to spend to get good service. These folks have turned my view of mechanic shops around a bit for sure.To say my truck now feels like a whole new truck would be an understatement.Thank you for doing amazing work above and beyond expectations!

Kind and informative staff. Clean, comfortable, organized waiting room. I took my Jeep in for regular 70k mile transmission service. I was even a bit late for my appointment but they were very accommodating. They promised to have it done by 3pm and it was finished before noon! I will definitely use them again and highly suggest to anybody driving anything with 4 wheels... maybe even 2.Service: Transmission

Excellent customer service and honest assessments. Oil change prices are some of the least expensive in town. They provide pics of the work the complete and suggestions for work that needs to be monitored. Friendly staff.

This team is absolutely amazing! I had an issue occur with my 2015 Ford Fusion and their team went above and beyond to make sure that the issue was fixed, that I had a clear understanding of what the problem was along with any maintenance that needed to be done in the future and kept me in the loop during the entire process. They didn't try to push me to purchase anything that I didn't need or string me along with any excuses. Quinn was super kind and made sure that I understood what was going on start to finish. I appreciated that they sent a link with my estimate and maintenance report that describes the issue, how they fix it, the cost of labor and the cost of the part all together to reference. It's amazing how transparent they are! You can truly see that they're working to do what's right and that's how they are noticed and get repeat customers!They fixed my main issue and now I have an appointment to fix the remainder - thanks to their shuttle, I don't even have to miss work!My family and I will use definitely be using Christian Brothers for all of out automotive needs in the future.
