Where to start? When I initially towed my car to their shop, I was told by the tow truck driver that the shop would contact me once they got the car checked in. The car was towed on a Friday, so I did not expect a call until the next business week. Fast Forward to the next week, and I am still waiting for someone to contact me, and when I call, I am given no answer. My insurance could not get in contact with the shop to confirm my car was there. The tow company confirms they dropped it off, and finally, I am contacted, and it is confirmed my car is there near the end of the week. The original estimate of damages was taken, and there are inconsistencies between the insurance and the shop. This was upsetting, but I did not blame anyone for this. What tipped me over the edge is that the shop held my car for over a month, knowing that they would not work with the parts my insurance was paying for. Instead of being upfront and honest so that I may make arrangements to get my car moved, they just sat back and let the car sit. When I would call, I rarely got any information if anyone answered. When I finally got a clear answer by having my father call and go to get my car towed to a new place, the car had sat for a month and a half, and I used all of my rental allotment through insurance. The agent was then very aggressive about the diagnostic fee, which I paid. Still, again, this was a horrible experience and some of the worst customer service I've ever received. I do not recommend not because of the issues between my insurance and the shop; but rather the utter lack of regard for the consumer. I wonder if this was the person who handled my case or a department-wide issue.
