I have called all kinds of part stores to get a gasket my son messed up. Everyone said you have to buy the whole kit to get it. The man at Morehouse transmission said the same thing but followed up with he has to use parts out of kits sometimes. That he would sell me one out of a kit so we could get my son back up and running! This was awesome! I will go back when I need a transmission or help with one.

I will speak on a past experience for this review. They did a fine job on my old wheel chair van a few years ago. I recently needed their services again and waited for 5 weeks for an appointment. Dropped by several times, no dice. They are busy, they do decent work when you can get them to do it. Tony seems like a decent guy but is severely over worked and no help to lighten the load. Man that sounds like alot of places these days...so I will cut them some slack.

Was told when the truck was dropped off that they would know what was wrong within a week. 3 weeks later they finally got around to checking it. The owner, Tony, was nice and upfront but his staff was the one who quoted a week.

I had my transmission rebuilt on my 2003 GMC Envoy with 4WD/AWD and associate told me $1400 total on the phone and when the job was done the total changed to $1700 because he forgot to include tax over the phone. I had further problems with the transmission 2wks later my 4WD went out. I wouldn't recommend this company to any of the local people of Morehouse.

These people bought my stolen transmission from the guy that stole my truck from me and want to sell it back to me. But the guy that sold it to them gand wrote them a note promising that it wasnt stolen so everything is suppose to be ok.

Nice professional mechanics and good customer service. Best transmission repair shop around. They won't rip you off either. Very honest people.
