I called in advance and scheduled my brake pads be changed and rotors be turned (smoothed out). First contact was with someone whose name must be master mechanic (considering he said his title several times but not his name) and was informed they would, not could, be finished in 30 minutes. Reiterated the part about my brake pads be changed and rotors turned and an hour and a half later my pads were changed and I was shown a piece of rubber from something completely unrelated. So in closing, the easy part of the job was done, the hard part wasn t, and thankfully they gave me a receipt telling me they hadn t completed the job I scheduled for in advance.

Took my van here for a simple balance and rotation. They broke 2 of my wheel center caps. It happens. I get it. But you'd think they'd offer to replace what they broke. They didn't. After paying I walk outside and can visibly see that two of my tires are low. Sure enough, my van is giving me a low pressure warning. I aired them up myself at home since a $50 balance and rotation doesn't include putting air in the tires.

My husband got four new tires, ball joints, rotors, brack pads and front end alignment truck was squeaky afterwards so he brought it back and the truck still squeaking bad. After 2,374.07 you would think the truck would be running properly Literally a waste of money

Mr Brent and his staff are very friendly and really awesome. Very reasonably priced as well. They don't carry Firestone tires but were more than happy to order them for me and they arrived the next day. Had 4 new tires installed and balanced and it only took about 30 minutes. Highly recommend and I will be returning.

I went to this tire shop today to have 1 tire on someone else s vehicle replaced. After the guy looked at the tires he said they all would probably need replacing. I appreciated that information. However, the vehicle isn t mine & paying $600 + for 4 brand new tires on someone else s vehicles is not what I was going to do. That guy seemed really nice though.From the time I walked in the lady at the front window seemed to have a nasty attitude. At first I wanted to say maybe she was having a tough day but I watched her interact with 4 other customers. I hate to say it may have been race related but I was the only non Caucasian customer. The energy & customer service she gave them was not the same for me. The worst & craziest part of the entire experience was that my 11 year old son picked up on all of this as well.He also said she made comments about the fact that I declined buying four new tires. I don t see how what comes out of my pocket has anything to do with her nor why she felt the need or right to comment on it.Even when she asked if I wanted a receipt & I said yes she seemed nasty about having to give me one.I have heard from several people not to go there because they aren t fond of minorities. Be that as it may I always like to get my own view of people instead of listening to the opinion of others. However, their opinions seems to be factual.Again I m not sure what the issue actually was & Im hoping what was displayed isn t what actually was. However, this was my take on my experience.I uploaded proof of visit (the receipt given)

After calling all over Alexandria and Pineville in search of 2 new tires that I needed installed that same day, these folks not only stocked the ones I needed for a reasonable price but were also friendly and pleasant as they walked me through the details. This was a completely different experience than the other dealers whom I called first. I was in and out of their facility in 30 minutes or less despite the multitude of customers. They make driving 15 minutes outside of Alexandria worth your time! Will use them again.Service: Tires

Omg they do bad service they just want to get you in and out and didn t even finish it correctly. And the owner is so rude and didn t want to look at it or resolve the problem. I would not recommend this place at all. Make sure you check on your service ppl. Unhappy!!!

Changed my control arms and didn t tightened up the bolts and just very bad business by the owner. Instead of compensating me or offering any help he has other customers to help.

Pro- People are friendly and helpful. Great place to get an inspection sticker. Cons- Behind the times. The charge $12 per tire for balance even if you bought tires drone them and don t offer a lifetime balance plan. The over charge for used tires. Was quoted $40 for a used tire compared to $15-$20 other nearby local shops.

great quick service. i had an inspection done in just a few minutes, and the check was very thorough. thanks to them for being nice and efficient and i would recommend them for tires, etc. all smiles, too!

They are not the most personable, but they always get the job done for a low price. We have taken our vehicle here several times and they haven't failed us. We appreciate the work they do.

The purpose of the visit to Ball Tires was for an Inspection sticker. Great location if you live within the area, if coming from Alexandria it's a good little drive. The facility appeared clean, no wait lines, we got in & out quite quickly. They're nick picky though, they inspect things I've never seen or heard of as part of the inspection. The 2 people we dealt with did not seem too experienced, like they didn't know exactly what to do. They were not friendly at all.

When I came back to pick up vehicle which had 2 tires put on and left when I got home and got out of the vehicle I noticed center of rim cap was not there so we go back to ball tire and I talked to one of guys who services the vehicle he told me that they had broken the clip on the center cap taking it off and just placed it back on the car and that it more than likely fell off down the road . I said you think . Waited on owner to come out and talk to him he said he was not responsible for it . I will not be doing any business with this kind of person. Again . What they should have done was let us know about the center cap breaking and hand it to me and I could secure it to stay on vehicle not place it on car and act like nothing is wrong and let you drive off and have the center piece of rim fly off to be run over and or never found. How is he not responsible because the shop sign says not responsible for anything we work on . Did not see that sign because I would not have stopped in that case. I recommend you use somebody else you will definitely get a better deal.

Went to Good Year first , the salesperson didn t even look at my tire, he wanted to fill out paperwork and put on rack after waiting . I decided not to stay and went to Walmart , i was told due to the location of nail in my tire he couldn t touch it , he referred me to Ball Tire . I was helped immediately , some nice man looked at my tire and with a little pressure removed the nail , which was barely in the tire he then check for a leak , and he didn t charge me . I Highly recommend need more local people like that !

We were in town from out of State due to a family emergency when our brakes went out. They went out of their way to get us in and back on the road. And, I was extremely shocked when I got the bill. Wow, what great prices!Service: BrakesService: Brakes

In a pinch and had to get a tire replaced. A pair of used tires were available for $80.i bought them and had them put on. Within 10 days the left front tire I had just replaced, left me stranded in Natchitoches. Charging over $300 for a new one was not an option and they knew it. I'm a handicapped female. Guess they saw an easy target. I won't be back and will not recommend to anyone.

I actually can't even give this business 1 star. The owner and the the lady inside are very rude and I won't be back. He should also treat his employees better.

Sign says NO W8 DMV but we were there for 50 minutes with 3 people ahead and 1 behind waiting to renew vehicle registration. We got skipped by a lady that showed up 15 minutes after us. Then they completely screwed up and charged $17 for a duplicate registration saying my registration was good until August but my registration expired in August 2018, not 2020 because we had the vehicle parked.. so we had to go back in and wait for them to correct their screw up. We were at Ball Tire AKA NO W8 DMV for an hour and 15 minutes. We are going elsewhere for inspection. This is not the first or second issue I've had here so I'm finally done with Ball tire for good SMH...

I have gone here for tire rotation, oil change and other vehicles problems and I was ALWAYS treated with courtesy and fast service. I recommend Ball Tire to everyone I know who inquires of a good tire shop or trustworthy place for their vehicle. Thank you Brent and Melissa!!!

It's never fun when you have to spend money repairing your vehicle. On those dreaded days, it's nice to know you have a place to go where you will get great service from experienced staff. Always a pleasant experience.

In a pinch with flat on trailer on side of road. I stayed with trailer and sent my wife with tire and rim to replace tire. 90 dollars and change for replacement tire and extra charge for tire stem that did not need to be changed!! Needless to say they saw her coming! No morals or classiness for a business if you ask me. Shame shame

Someone needs teach that man the rules for inspection stickers. He wouldn't give me an inspect sticker because of a windshield crack on the passenger side. I told him you just can't have a crack on drivers side; but he persisted that's not true. I get home, look up sticker guidelines online, and sure enough I was right. (I do hear they're easier on women though.) SEE>>> Windshields Acute Area (directly in the DRIVER'S LINE OF VISION) - cannot have any cracks and no more than 2 stars, nicks, chips, bull's-eyes, or half moons in excess of 1/2". Critical Area (area other than the acute area which is cleaned by the normal sweep of the windshield wiper blades on the DRIVER'S SIDE ONLY) - cannot have any star larger than 2" in diameter, 2 or more stars larger than 1 1/2" in diameter, or 2 or more cracks which extend more than 8".

The mechanic are helpful and kind but the women in the front desk are RUDE! I d walk home before this establishment ever gets another dollar from me! Disgusting and unprofessional

Did some work on one of my vehicles and I was thoroughly impressed with the service and expertise used in addressing the issues with my vehicle. Its fixed and seems to drive well.
