Well so glad you asked. I really not happy with Walker Service Dept and have not been for some time. I am just getting tired of bring my truck in and getting it back with the explanation "We can not duplicate customer's concerns" I know I brought in my truck with the back up camera issue a couple of times only to get it back with the same old explanation "We can not duplicate customer's concerns" They then said it would be helpful if you took a picture of what the screen does when it goes 'blue" so I did and showed it to the service department when I left my truck again. Only to get the truck back with the tried and true explanation "we can not duplicate customer's concerns". To this day the truck STILL has the backup camera issue because nothing was done. You know after a couple of services calls for the same issue and nothing was done, don't you think maybe, just maybe we should replace SOMETHING in the system to see if that takes care of the problem. NO, what we got was the same old explanation "we can not duplicate customer's concerns".There was the problem of the auto-bright lights would switch off periodically. When I got the truck back it was the same old explanation, "we can not duplicate customer's concerns". That problem is still ongoing to this date.Now to the last service you preformed on the truck February 12 -16, 2024. Customer states after the vehicle is driven for approximately 25 minutes when applying the brake the truck has a little jolt in the transmission. So when we got the call from the service person they stated "We can not duplicate customer's concerns" and will further questioned about did they drive the vehicle for about 25 minutes, I was told the service guy drove the truck several times and it did not do it for him. Now on your service paperwork it states that the truck on intake mileage was 38,515miles upon picking the truck up the mileage was 38,531 miles. The math shows that y'all only drove the vehicle 16 miles. When told the service department the "customer's concerns" happens after driving it for 25 minutes. Now I not a mathematician or logistics expert, but I do know that the 16 miles the truck was driven would have only taken about 18-20 minutes. I am not saying your service guy is lying but I just don't believe anything he is telling me.So how I really feel about the whole situation is, that the service department is just putting off repairing things until the warranty is going to expire and then they will finally find the problem and since it is out of warranty here is a nice bill to go with the newly fixed truck. I have loss all confidence with Walker GMC and it's service department. Maybe I should post this on your website so others could understand the pros and cons dealing with your service department. I will say that my experience has been a bit different from most folksWhen my husband and I bought our '17 Chevy Sonic in 2019, Kenderick Veal was the best guy to take care of us and we had such a reliable car with just over 23k miles. Kenderick is amazing overall and I recommend him to anyone looking for a vehicle. 10 Stars! However, my car recently has an engine and HVAC issues, so I called Walker GMC service dept in hopes to get my vehicle fixed. I was told over the phone BEFORE I brought the car to the service dept that it was still under warranty, because it's under 75k miles so I brought it to them. Not two or three hours later, my husband gets a call from the service dept and told us we were NOT under warranty and that it expired in June, and that we have over $3k in maintenance that needs to be done on our car. That was without having someone look at the transmission.Anytime we had any interaction with the guy, he really kept pushing the financing options and I get it, it's part of the job but I'm not made of money to put me and my husband's credit in jeopardy. I was under the false impression my car was going to get fixed and now i can't do anything with it.I felt like a fool afterwards and my trust was broken with the Walker company. I just want my car fixed without breaking the bank. 2 stars

Took my 2012 E350 Mercedes Benz here. They serviced the engine and air conditioner. After completion they even wash it for me. Definitely recommend this place.

I purchased a used vehicle from Walker and I immediately had a few issues come up! I was directed back to service and assigned to Kaitlyn Jones as my point of contact. She was wonderful throughout a very stressful few weeks. She went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my purchase and that Walker took care of me. She takes customer care to the next level!! She handled everything so well and communicated with me every step of the way. She turned all of my buyers anxiety and remorse back around and made sure I was completely satisfied. Thank you again Kaitlyn!!! Rockstar status!!!

I was traveling from New orleans to Dallas for a morning surgery and vehicle was making an unfamiliar noise so pulled into walker automotive. Mr. Robinson the service manager took a look and solved the problem and got us back on the road within few minutes. Honest friendly buisness. Highly recommend. Thanks Mr. David

Dealer tried to charge more than the agreed price two different times. When I went to look at the truck, they had it in a wash bay, partly my fault I didn t pull it out before looking. There s was two huge dents on the rocker panel of the truck I noticed after I signed the papers. They would not give any discount for the damage. The manager said they d fix it at their body shop but I had to pay cost to fix. I wouldn t do ANYMORE business with anything to do with this company. I ve purchased probably 125 vehicles and I ve never ever had such an unprofessional experience.

Worst service ever! Had vehicle towed in 3 days ago and still haven't looked at it. Didn't even know it was there until I went by and asked why no one called. Don't be tricked by "direct number" on business cards because they NEVER answer and NEVER call back. Even spoke with the service manager who ASSURED a call back by 9am, well past 11 and still no call. Worst service I have every encountered, doesn't matter how great the buying experience is if you can't get service when you need it. Motto should be When other dealers wont sell, Walker will, when you want service Walker won't!

This is one of the most honest care for the customer dealership that I've experienced in decades thanks Timmy fontenot your knowledge of the diverse models is truly amazing your professional approach was impressive the financial mgr worked out the best deal to fit my budget thanks Scott thank you Walker for being involved with the veterans the community and all you do for the goodwill of all you really made my wife's day she is happy we are all happy

I had a horrible experience with the maintenance department. I sat there for 4 hours waiting to get a quote for the repairs I need on my car. When I asked what the problem was, I was told that a tech threw a hissy fit and left early. It would have been courteous if someone had come to me and told me an hour into my 4 hour wait time what was going on and not me having to get up and find out for myself.

Purchasing vehicle was pleasant and easy. Service is a nightmare. The service advisors, although pleasant, are extremely difficult to get on the phone. My several trips for service have been unpleasant to say the least. Good luck speaking to their manager as well.

Do NOT buy from this place. Asked a rep for a payoff while buying a new car at a different dealership and we paid our lease off and turned it in. A month later they send us a $1600 bill. Lied to us and another dealership while on speaker phone in a room with 6 people in it. So unprofessional! Will NEVER recommend this place!
