I was on a road trip from DFW to New Orleans and my van broke down in Alexandria. I called 3 places and these were the only guys who could take my van. I'm so glad they did. They rebuilt my transmission and got it back to me within a week (on a holiday week!) and I had to test it right away with a 5 hr drive back to DFW. No issues! My mechanic even helped me out and gave me a ride from the car rental place back to the shop and I learned he's been working on transmissions for 30 years. Great team. Highly recommend.

Took my truck here to get an oil light checked out. They claimed the rear main seal was leaking and the transmission needed to be replaced. When I got home I checked the seal and it was 100% intact. I changed the the oil sensor and fixed the issue. There is no shortage of companies like this out there that try to get over on you. ALWAYS get a second opinion.

Had Transmission Rebuilt, developed leak next morning after picking up truck. Returned to shop for analysis, replaced pan/gasket. Drove home , leak found. Transmission fluid under truck minutes after stop. Called Precision and recommended that I take to good Transmission shop near my home & get a opinion & call them back. .... thank you for considering another option better rating depending upon outcome. I will update.

For anyone looking to get a transmission rebuilt I d highly suggest you avoid this shop. I personally bought a quality performance rebuild kit to be installed in my truck by them. I was given an initial estimate for the turnaround time and they didn t even come close to returning my truck by that date. Had to call every week constantly inquiring about the progress of the work being performed. When I finally got my truck back and drove it home by the time I got home (45 minute drive) there was transmission fluid leaking from everywhere possible. The transmission lines were literally hand tight. And the biggest catch of it all is that they won t warranty it being that I supplied my own parts. When I brought my truck everything was fine with the transmission just wanted performance parts installed. 48 hours after receiving my truck it won t even move. No point in even bringing it back if it s gonna take two months for the issues to be fixed. Mind you they were all new and still in the box all unopened. Let my loss be a lesson for you. AVOID THIS SHOP!Service: Transmission

Bought a new to me 2015 F-150 and new immediately there was an issue with the transmission. Casey emailed me a quote to do a complete overhaul on it (6R80) and I scheduled to bring it in the following morning. The job was done quickly and correctly, the owner took the time to walk me through everything they had done and even showed me a few extras that I had requested be checked out. The price never changed from what I was quoted even though they had replaced a rear main seal on the motor that was not quoted, Mr. Greg said that even though they changed it he believed it wasn t actually an issue he had just wanted to be safe about it so he wasn t charging for it. These people have my business from now on and I recommend them to anyone needed transmission work done right.

Greg & KC and the rest of his crew are great. My trans went out pulling my trailer back from New Orleans to Dallas on the highway. They Diagnosed it, had a dealer warranty remaned trans delivered the next morning and had me on the road by 3:00PM that day. Great people and great work!

Precision Transmission rebuilt the transfer case in my 99 Chevy. I am very pleased with the friendly service and speedy work I received from them. The price was awesome compared to the price of a remanufactured case. Their warranty proves that they back up their work. Great bunch of people. I will be back when I have transmission problems down the road.

Make sure your pockets are right because it starts at one price but before they finish adding all the other problems on your car that you didn't even ask them to look at they will make a suggestion that it be fixed or the problem you had initially won't work correctly without you fixing all those other parts which makes your bill very different from the beginning bill you had! That's why you see all those cars parked there that's already fixed on the side!

Thay did not dinos y transmission burnd up ran my motor hot burnd it up told me truck ready five miles down road stuck had call tow truck thay new and called me saying it ran come get it didn't say anything let me on side road

Took truck to be fixed transmission was not working came out with burnt engine was charged $ 2400 for truck that don t run didn t even make It to MacArthur from the shop to the I 49 ramp 5miles down the road I don t recommend this place they don t take Accountability and a very rude they didn t not fix the problem they made it worse by blowing the engine and letting me leave with it knowingly
