Stopped here after a long drive, after 11pm. Too tired to keep driving. We had no reservations, but rate posted online appealed to us - so we stopped.Plenty of parking all around the building on all sides.Front desk lady was very kind and quick - of course professional. Got a nice king room on the second floor. Room was super clean and quiet. Very comfortable bed and fluffy pillows. Window shades blocked out all light. Very nice sized flat screen tv.Very spacious bathroom. Lots of counter space, fluffy towels, and very roomy shower.Breakfast was typical fare. Interestingly, the coffee was actually very good!I would definitely stop again. I would recommend without hesitation.

As of writing this review I have stayed in this hotel for over a month. On January 10th 2024 I got back to my hotel room and immediately noticed my desk was shuffled around, and my Lenovo Legion Go computer had been taken, I immediately notified staff and called the police, it s now been 19 days and the hotel has done nothing to help me. Over a thousand dollars gets taken in property, the staff admits that it s visible on camera, and they ve not even gone as far as to offer me anything. I had been told the employee was fired, only to find out she actually quit the day she stole my property, I had been told it was likely the owners would reimburse me, only to now be told that at best corporate may offer you hotel points . My privacy gets violated, my property is stolen, only to be topped off by the fact that nothings been cleaned and I have no clean towels or sheets. I understand on the few days that I had the we re busy tag in the door, but that s been weeks. I ll make sure my company doesn t book an IHG hotel again since apparently they don t care for their customers.

Very disappointed with this Holiday Inn. We came for 3 nights over New Years Weekend. We frequent IHG hotels and have stayed over 50 nights alone in an IHG hotel this year alone. However, we were sad to say that this was NOT a good stay. The maid staff was lacking and unhelpful. We asked for fresh towels and sheets from the maid (she said she d bring some by in an hour, never did), we asked the front desk to make sure that would happen (they assured us no problem and of course nope). When we called down later that afternoon about it, the front desk staff had an attitude and told us to come get them. We obliged and after two different trips we got the bedding and towels we needed because according to her that s what was back there, I m not a maid . The breakfast attendant while kind, informed us that most of the breakfast was already gone even though breakfast continued on for almost another hour. Rooms were decently cleaned and decorated, the indoor pool looked cloudy so we didn t partake.

The staff is amazing! Good leadership shows in the staff and their customer service. Holly was the manager on duty and she handled my vehicle breaking down like a champion. The whole process of getting checked in and to my room was smooth. Communication between the staff was evident. All of the staff members knew who I was and any questions or concerns they were readily on hand to help me. It's frustrating when you break down and you're not close to home.Rooms: I had a king size room. It was very spacious and clean.

First the good - breakfast was excellent. Biscuits and gravy, omelettes (pre-made but edible, the main criterion) and a pancake machine. In a world of shoddily constructed and maintained motels, this was one of the worst. From bad to worse here's what we experiencedRoom with two beds, only one of each towel. Took two trips to the desk to get it right.Sink stopper wouldn't stay closed. Fortunately I could reach under and knew to hand tighten the nut on the ball pivot and could finish shaving.Drain ran slow. Took forever to run out so I could brush teethThermostat was mysterious. The window unit said "use wall thermostat". Wall thermostat had a mode switch for heat/cool which worked except it didn't. I would only go from "off" to "cool" and the low that night was 15. Solution - mode switch didn't really work. You had to press the arrows; bumping the set point seemed to shift it from heat to cool. Not a good design in my opinion - makes me wonder if I'm writing the truth, but it worked that way for me.Bathroom door doesn't latch. The bolt and strike plate are not aligned. Worse - it seems to latch a little so you'll turn the handle and it opens. But you can just pull it without turning the handle. Finally - No Hot Water. Oh, there's a hot water knob and the water that comes out is warmer than the cold. But it's not hot. If I had to guess it's probably 105 degrees. If you need to give baby a bath you're all set. But if you come in from a long drive and hope to relax with a hot shower - it's not happening. It was tolerable. Just not pleasant, or bracing or tingling. It's hard to believe the owners of these buildings wouldn't have spent five minutes inside each unit making sure everything worked before taking ownership. We all need to go back to the old days where we look at the room before paying.

My stay here was wonderful. Lots of fluffy pillows and a wonderfully, clean room. The staff was excellent, and the breakfast in the morning was wonderful! Hats off to the cooks! My only complaint on location is that they are right off 75 with the road construction so there is a TON of traffic to get through to get to them. But, it was worth the effort!

The hotel itself is a typical Holiday Inn. Very clean and modernized inside and out. The breakfast selection was the best I have seen from any Holiday Inn and even topped many of the Hilton brand hotels I have stayed at. My only complaint is that my mattress had no waterproof/bug proof protector on it. It is inexcusable in my opinion for hotels not to have these in 2023. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of several restaurants. Directly in front of the hotel is a huge gravel parking lot for any trucks or large vehicles. Phenomenal customer service. I felt the pricing was a bit steep, but perhaps this is because of the casino located down the street.

Where do I even start with this nonsensical place?I wish I could give it a 0 star.I booked my reservation a week or two before my date of check-in. Upon arrival I was told there is no reservation in my name. After 20 minutes the receptionist found my reservation and gave me the keys for the room. Here is the fun part- i got room keys for a particular room in which there was somebody staying already. I walked into a room I was supposed to check-in with a lady staying there already.I went down and informed them and they did not know what was going on and said "we need to physically go and check if there is somebody in the room to believe you"WHY WOULD I LIE?Then they come and tell me they are sold out and dont have any other rooms. After nearly 2 hours i got a room and asked for a discount for the trouble caused and they said "We cant give you a discount. It is not our mistake and fault"Wonder whose fault it is then really? On top of that the receptionist had the audacity to tell me "what if your money was in the bank and the bank got robbed? is it the banks fault"? I dont know what point she was trying to make but this is PATHETIC.The next day the room service comes and knocks my door and says i am supposed to check out today where in my stay and reservation is for 2 days.I went to the front desk assuming the room service are told what to do and dont come up with their own ideas of who has to leave and who doesnt; however the front desk woman told me we can "extend" your stay! I Wonder if these people snort drugs before work. Wonder why i would need to extend if my reservation was already for 2 nights and i paid and have been charged for 2 nights.PLEASE GET YOUR NONSENSE TOGETHER IDIOTS!

I'm not normally one to be swoon by large corporate lodging like holiday inn but I was absolutely swept off my feet by the staff at this location. Two individuals went above and beyond to make me and my girlfriend's stay the best we could have imagined. To begin me and my girlfriend are driving down the interstate with the impending call of sleep following close behind. We elect to search ahead and find a suitable spot to lay our heads. We end up deciding on holiday because we are both sucker's for continental breakfast(we'll get to that later) and we call and the most helpful representative that holiday inn (probably) isn't paying enough. Jacob at the front desk. Despite working the evening shift Jacob answers the phone and proceeds to be funny and helpful. Jacob guides us to the best deal possible and is there to greet us upon our arrival. Major shoutout to Jacob! Then we go to our crash pad and it's spotless. The entire hotel was a clean and well kempt for that matter. (see attached pictures). The next morning feeling well rested and hungry we shuffle down to the breakfast area where we meet the second member of the IHG hotel's deserves to be paid a lot more club, Ruth. While shambling down the line towards the bacon Ruth is making conversation with the drowsy guests. This woman loves her job and makes every guest feel like they're eating breakfast at their aunts house. She talks at length for how much she enjoys cooking and taking pride in making the food the way she would if we were guests at her house. Ruth could make discussion about hot bacon and eggs more engaging than a collage professor giving his thesis speech. To say the food was good would be an understatement. The food WAS good but the staff that made it turned good into great.11/10 would stay again at the holiday inn.Jacob and Ruth are definitely deserving of some recognition!Rooms: The room was spotless and the bed was comfy!Food & drinks: The breakfast is simple and delicious with a good selection. Pancakes, bagels, toast, biscuits, eggs, cereal, milk, yogurt, coffee, tea, oatmeal, muffins.Noteworthy details: The water pressure is a little weak but I have yet to see a hotel with good water pressure.

By far the best designed room I've stayed in! First of all, great location and easy reservation/check in. Breakfast was very good, staffwas friendly. The room! Wish I'd taken pictures. Fairly new everything with lots of innovative touches for a mid size hotel. Would be great for longer stay but our one night was great. Good mattress, linens and tech adaptations for travelers to easily settle in.

Great location, easy to find, easy check in, nice staff! I rated 4 starts because our room had a very odd odor upon check-in. It was a very unpleasant smell. We had a late arrival, didn't check in until 10pm and were just looking for a place to sleep for a few hours before getting back in the road, popper a bag of popcorn to try to get rid of the smell!

Nice rooms, high price, horrible employees. I stayed 3 nights and my dad drove up to meet me on the last morning. We went into the breakfast room where I had a coffee, and he brought his own drink from a restaurant. The employee stormed in on us and demanded that my father leave immediately or pay for a room. I explained that he was not eating their food, only sitting there talking to me and she wouldn't listen. I asked for a manager, and she said that she was not allowed to contact the manager unless the building was on fire, her word was final. I will not stay here again. I have never been insulted so greatly in my life. I have tried to contact Rupal the manager for a week and still have not received a return call.

We loved this hotel. Room was nicely laid out. Breakfast buffet was better than most for this type of fate. Yummy cinnamon rolls! Helpful desk person suggested a great place to eat in downtown Williamsburg.

Pricey for this hotel at this location, even with the discount at $170 plus taxes. Once we entered the room, there was a bad smell like a dirty mop was used to clean, smell was like a high school gym locker room. We had Lysol spray in the car still left over from the COVID-19 days. Wiped down the nightstands and counter tops and the wipes were dirty. I question the cleaning of the rooms. Doubt we would return here again.

Much more comfortable and providing than a lot of high end hotels that cost twice as much! The complimentary hot breakfast was a nice touch. Food was very good and fresh, much more than you would expect from a free breakfast. Biscuits and sausage gravy, vegi omelettes, fresh pancakes and cinnamon rolls. I will def be staying here again next time I'm on the road!

It was freaking awesome with everybody that was there and Jamie or Jamie she was so freaking awesome I mean she made everything great as well as Steven I mean with those two it was a pleasant stand there and if I have to come back there again for another project I would definitely stay there againRooms: Every time I ask for room service I got it the only thing about room service is not that great with cleaning bathrooms but everything else was too. I got a king size bed a nice size room
