Worst place I ve stayed. Room was still dirty from the last guest and was not cleaned. Everything smells and is sticky.Rooms: Very dirty and was still dirty from last guest.

We stayed here in August of 2021. We booked online and on arrival were told they don t honor online booking. Luckily we had chosen to pay upon arrival, so we didn t lose any money but had to pay more than we expected. The room was non-smoking but reeked of cigarette smoke. The curtains were broken and did not close all the way. The room was not clean, the floor had dead bugs and spiders, and we were just about ready to find a vacuum and do it ourselves. We had two beds, but after seeing a bug crawling on one of the beds decided to share the second bed, which did not appear to have any bugs on it. The toilet was in fact clean (the only clean thing) but the shower did not drain. We had a terrible time and we will not be returning.

I've allowed a few days to go by before posting a review. Only one car in parking lot upon arrival...NO WONDER!! I had to go to the office to request our room be vacuumed, filthy. Dried toothpaste spatter on faucets, cleaned them myself. The walls had holes in them. Kleenex dispenser had empty box, lotions had already been opened. The coffee maker was filthy. Had requested Non Smoking, the only hint of non smoking was the sign on exterior door...carpet had cigarette burns, toilet tank had burn marks all over it. I saturated the room with Lysol spray I brought with me. The room stunk!!!! Do NOT waste your $$$.

Filthy & sticky carpet, wallpaper peeling off walls, light fixture over sink broken and missing light bulb, bed sheets had holes, box springs appeared to have red and yellow stains on sides, mattresses completely worn out and you sink into, old tube style tv with no remote and no cable, shower handle secured with a screw and very difficult to adjust for temperature, weeds growing outside in parking lot, small pile of old wood and junk on one side of building, pool not open, 3 broken down cars with flat tires in parking lot. A very suspicious element hangs out in the rooms here. Absolutely atrocious outside and inside maintenance. This place is a dive and should be avoided at all costs. The health department needs to shut this place down. Stay away you have been warned!

This place shouldn't even be aloud to be open. There was several vehicles in the parking lot with flat tires that have been there long enoigh to have weeds growing up around them. The pool was nastier than a farm pond. The building has paint missing and hanging loose on it. The curtains on the wi b does were torn and nasty. We didn't even go in the room didnt feel comfortable going in it.

It's perfect if you want a cheap, clean room to sleep in after a hot day outdoors. AC is cold & there's a mini fridge, microwave, & a small TV with cable. Nothing fancy but we didn't come here to hangout inside. Also the people that run the place seemed nice.

I stayed 3 days. My room was clean and sanitary. I had maid service during my stay. The seats outside my room were cleaned. The room has a microwave and small refrigerator. The facility has not been upgraded in a while, but it is definitely worth a stay.

My son found a bed bug in his bed next to me. Got outta there immediately and called the office desk to get my money back. Lady says she hasn't cleaned in a few days. Also says they have an exterminator. Well, I dont have an exterminator and that'll cost me thousands if I bring those home.

First the key doesn't work right, second the odor. Oh, 1 towel for 3 people. Next day, 5:00 pm and the room's still not cleaned. You want A/C, turn it to 62 to get intermittent 76-78. Pool looks great! I hope they put water in it soon.

Wifi never really works. Rooms seem pretty clean didnt request any extras. Oh I left a pair of under armour shoes (really nice brand new) and I got them back to my surprise.

We were given a price 3 weeks in advance and were charged $20 more than the quote. Our room was dusty and moldy. The phone in the room did not work, the toilet had flushing issues, the internet (Wi-Fi) did not work, no signal on our cells, asked for extra towels and was given a speech on how they're only allowed to put 2 in a room when we clearly had more than 2 people, mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, tub still had hair from previous people, mold on the curtains, wall paper falling off the wall, bathroom super small, the bathroom door was bowed, even the front desk had computer issues. To make matters worse, my son itched all night. We literally flipped the mattress 4 times, finding nothing, but very aggravating.

Do not stay here! Please keep going!! Housekeeping is a drug ring. Owner larry perry only cares about your payment then your basically on your own. Front desk guy seems nice..but you better look past it because it is a false front. Motel has many drug busts.

There was fleas on the carpet. As soon as I stepped in several jumped on my ankles. As I did my usual check for bedbugs my husband noticed something crawling on the bed and it was a roach! The toliet paper was about empty. I just wouldn't stay there unless it's my last resort.

If you are looking for luxury, this isn't the one.. but if you are in need of a clean, bug free place with an amazing staff for a great price, you have found your spot.. I have just left the motel after a 2 night stay for the holiday weekend and the staff was great.. they have went out of their way to make sure I find everything I need, from places to eat to things to do, extra towels and more coffee.. my bed was fixed the next day and my room was vacuumed during my stay..the bathrooms are very small and everything is slightly outdated, but it was a still a good experience.. microwave and small fridge in the room were also spotless, pool area was kept nice and clean.. the non-smoking room did NOT smell like cigarettes either.. check in was easy and check out even easier.. definitely staying there again..

For around $45 a night I'm not sure you will find a better place to stay in McCreary County. I know its an older motel but recent renovations have served this place well. Located in Stearns between Whitley City and Pine Knot. It's close to about everything in the county.

Just wanted to brag about the place , New staff ones who actually clean and keep up with the place no bed bugs microwaves lil fridgeraters and cable so i am impressed , , you can walk into clean rooms with all clean linens its alright

The room was not clean and no towels that's was one of the rooms and then they did give us another room and it was alot better but take your own towels

Loved the room and the staff was friendly and hospitable. The room had a leather couch and recliner that was so comfortable. The restaraunt that is advertised in the room that delivers, sucked.

Terrible experience. Bugs, and unsanitary rooms. Our comforter had gum stuck on it. The staff was very unfriendly. We left early and do not recommend anyone to stay here.

Dingy, smelly, and all around unpleasant. The guy at the front desk was nice. The pool was a sespool of nastyness. It's the only hotel around so have fun.

It is an older motel but is in good shape. No complaints about the room. Local restaurants deliver to the motel. The room cost in the mid to high $40s.

Very friendly people clean rooms have everything you need.Refrigerator, microwave coffee pot.And NO bugs!!!! Truck driver friendly too.Great place.Definitely stay here again

Not ideal for sure. Commode not flushing well and found fresh blood on sheets which supposedly came from a fresh on finger when caretaker was changing sheets but won't stay there again

Mother inlaw and family stayed here over weekend. Cockroaches everywhere. A huge rat in the room.Pool nasty. Keep driving, dont stop

Typical roadside cheap hotel. Only one sink works, bad spots on the ceiling and walls and floors, very stiff bed, old set up and tiny bathroom

Water in shower was hot or cold. No middle. The batteries for the remote. Heater leaked water. Sink leaked water.
