Maple Hill Manner more than met our expectations! We had a stormy difficult drive in and were greeted by the owners with coffee and dessert awaiting!! The manor is epic with 7 large bedrooms meticulously decorated in period style, set on 15 rolling Bluegrass acres! The hosts were gentle and gave us all the privacy we desired. The delicious breakfast was made to order at the time we requested and served in the elegant dining room. We could not have been more pleased with the accommodations at Maple Hill Manor. (Did I mention the luxurious robes in the armoire???) We are already planning our next trip!

This place is great. We arrived to a freshly cooked dessert and great conversation in the eaving and an amazing breakfast in the morning. The Lincoln room where we stayed was absolutely stunning. The attention to detail along with the effort and care put into bringing the history into this house while providing modern conveniences did not go unnoticed. This is all without mentioning the beautiful property and a great little gift shop. We can't wait to come back.Rooms: Wonderful historically themed rooms decorated with great care. New owners are doing a great job in making some subtle modern updates.Nearby activities: Centrally located to many stops on the bourbon trail.

My Husband and I loved this B&B. The desserts in the evening and the breakfast in the morning was the best part about the stay! Small details such as the plates that the desserts were served on were well thought out. The house is amazing. Justin and Catherine were both very pleasant. Lots to do in the surrounding towns. And if you will give Catherine seven days notice before you check in you can order a charcuterie board or a picnic to make your weekend stay even better. The notice is needed because she is quite a ways from a grocery store and has to prepare ahead of time for all of the cooking that she will do and preparing of baskets and boards. Highly recommend this B&B.

This place is an absolute gem! The property itself is well kept and absolutely beautiful. Enjoyed the donkeys and the horses as well as their cute pup! The hosts are first class- so hospitable and sweet. We didn t get a chance to make it to coffee/desserts in the evening, but the charcuterie board we ordered was delicious and breakfast out of this world. Do yourself a favor and book it. It was the nice little reset we needed, only downside is I wish we could ve stayed longer! Thank y'all again!

After having stayed 3 previous times at Maple Hill Manor many years ago, this time did not disappoint. Although Justine and Catherine have not had the property very long, our stay did not disappoint. They were friendly and accommodating, and breakfast was delicious! The Lincoln Bedroom was amazing, and the beauty of the property is unrivaled. Will definitely be back!!!!Rooms: The rooms are all beautifully appointed with great views and comfortable beds.

We absolutely loved this B&B! The house itself is amazing, full of beautiful antiques and architecture. The grounds truly live up to the advertisement of "park-like" setting. However the fabulous customer service is the real selling point of Maple Hill. We came for a two night stay and were treated like treasured guests. The staff/owners are top-notch! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

As a military family, we have stayed in many places around the country. This particular stay was amazing. The rooms were gorgeous, the breakfast was delicious, and the location was stunning. The rooms definitely made you feel like you had gone back in time. It was very clean and the staff was helpful and polite. My two young daughters were very adamant about leaving a review! Definitely give this location a try.

A great experience!Rooms: Each room has unique period decor. Very comfortable and charming.Safety: Safety is not an issue. We felt very safe.Food & drinks: Outstanding breakfast and evening dessert.

First of all, the only reason why I gave the room a 4 out of 5 was simply because, obviously I know the place is older and definitely needs a little love, but the bathroom (albeit clean) was a tad small. The toilet mostly was the comfort issue, and being someone who has a hard enough time with tight spaces, it made it a little uncomfortable. Beyond that, the only minor complaint was that we felt there could have been a little mini fridge for snacks somewhere in the room. However, that was just our room as far as the bathroom issue goes. I have no clue how the other 6 are. That being said, when my girlfriend and I arrived on her birthday weekend to celebrate at Maple Hill Manor, we were pleasantly surprised. We had previously stayed at a so-called bed & breakfast for our first experience in Indianapolis. Total let down. Maple Hill Manor immediately redeemed that. The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful from the get go and despite the minor complaints, we had a blast and enjoyed a nice relaxing stay overnight. Both of us got to go into town at Springfield, Bloomfield and Bardstown, enjoying the food, history, and the sights. Our friends had recommended Maple Hill Manor after they stayed and enjoyed themselves, so we had to give it a try. Everyone was helpful and it was definitely more of the bed & breakfast experience like I expected the first time. The view was beautiful, we met some very friendly people, and even got introduced to the on site animals (Stella the family dog was my favorite). The history of the Manor alone is very cool, but for us it was just nice to get away for a night without having to go too far from home and somehow still feel at home. Sidenote, the charcuterie board was amazing and definitely worth the add on if you like that sort of stuff. Overall, we give our experience a 4.5 stars out of 5 and will definitely be back in the future.Nearby activities: Several towns nearby (within no more than 30 minutes) with plenty to do.Safety: Felt very safe on grounds and in the nearby towns.Food & drinks: The charcuterie board was amazing and we highly recommend it!

We arrived close to sunset and the Kentucky farm land was gorgeous! The Manor sits at the top of the Hill, just like the photos!!Justin greeted us at the door, and shared some history of the beautiful home. Our room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. We went out for dinner to Malachi s. In the morning, Catherine had fresh coffee, and cocoa sitting out in the beautiful dining room. Catherine served fruit and then Parmesan, basil and tomato scrambled eggs, diced potatoes and bacon. It was amazing! Catherine is kind and has a great laugh. Loved it!!

What a wonderful Bed & Breakfast! We have been to B & B s all over the country and Maple Hill Manor is at the top of the list! The owners (Justin and Catherine) are very knowledgeable of the history of the Manor and more than willing to share. Breakfast was amazing the two days we stayed. The nightly desert made our stay extra special. We will definitely be back!

We went to a wedding where the couple rented the whole inn. The house is amazing and the owners are also. They are super, super nice and accommodating. We had the best time. We were there in early December and it was decorated for Christmas, absolutely beautiful! The next morning they fixed us one of the best breakfasts I have had in a very long time. All made with local ingredients and informed us where we could get some for ourselves. The rooms were very clean and cozy. My only regret is I didn't get out on the farm to see the animals & surroundings because I was so busy being in the wedding. They have a lot of different events there and I would love to go back, especially in better weather with more free time. Highly recommend.

Me and my wife are married here and let me say this. I'm real particular on customer service because I used to be in this business. TheOwners of this place to above and beyond. They did things that I never thought they would. From cleaning to helping me find bags of ice! Each room has a theme and every room did not disappoint. The breakfast they served was 5 star. The location and the view is straight out of a romance comedy We will most definitely be back. Thank you all for making our wedding unforgettable!

We recently returned to Maple Hill Manor Bed & Breakfast for a family, girls weekend. Our last visit in 2021 was sadly disappointing, but we had seen so many positive Facebook updates made by the new owners that we decided to return. We were delighted with all the work the new owners have already made. The house was sparkling clean and beautifully decorated for Christmas. We were treated to scrumptious desserts and delicious breakfasts. The manor is situated in the country, yet is in close proximity to historic Bardstown, KY, and other attractions. The owners/innkeepers are very friendly and made us feel welcome and at home. We are already planning our next full house family weekend in 2023! We highly recommend that you treat yourself and stay at Maple Hill Manor Bed & Breakfast!

A beautiful property with such amazing hosts. Justin and Catherine were wonderful and so accommodating! We had to leave early in the morning for our drive back to Texas and they set out some to go coffee cups and a goody bag with some treats for the road. Breakfast was delicious every morning and the property is so peaceful we took a stroll each day to see the horses, donkeys, alpacas, and Dobermans. Highly recommend a stay here and we will certainly be back!

Wonderful place to stay in a historic setting. The new owners are sweet and personable and very accommodating. The grounds themselves are in a state of mild disrepair, but you can tell the new management has a fire under their butts to fix it all.Breakfast was a gorgeous presentation and excellent - I expected some sausage patties, biscuits, and gravy, but Catherine whipped up some enchiladas that were to die for, andJustin made sure to keep our plates filled. Also, if you can play music to any degree, they'll make you feel like Mozart reincarnated when you plink out a tune on their baby grand in the living room. It's a joy to see people who care about what they do and the land they now own. I'll definitely be back someday.Great location, beautiful house and scenery, and hosts to match.

I will save the best for last. First, the Mansion is amazing and beautiful. We stayed two nights and the wonderful loving energy in the home and on the grounds made us feel like new people. Second, the animals were wonderful and fun to play with and feed. Finally, the best part, our host Tina Mae was amazing. Friendly, professional, attentive, educational, and the list goes on. She made us feel like family and the stay special and we will be back to see the Manor and her again.

My wife and I did a quick 4 day getaway to Bourbon country and we stayed at this wonderful little Bed and Breakfast. The location is fantastic and easily accessible to bourbon tours and some Civil War site. The grounds are stunning, tranquil and quiet and we loved sitting out at night watching the beautiful skies. The rooms are tastefully decorated and clean. Each morning, we would enjoy a nice home cooked breakfast that did not disappoint. Tina who is the innkeeper is very friendly, attentive, personable, and an absolute joy. I am glad that we chose the Maple Hill Manor for our trip.

The hostess, Tina, is 5 stars! She took such good care of us! We enjoyed all the history she shared and the time she spent introducing us to the alpacas, llama, and Penny the horse. The property itself is in need of some care which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.The location is perfect for many bourbon trail excursions and a nice place to relax in nature after a day s outing.

The Maple Hill Manor is an extraordinary example of a fine mid-19th century manor house. It's wonderful condition is a testament to the owners past and present and the original constructors. The rooms are nicely appointed and presented in immaculate condition. The building's thick walls make for a very quiet night's sleep. The long views from the terrace are gorgeous and unspoiled. The Manor's ace-in-the-hole is the wonderful hostess, Tina. She personifies traditional Southern graciousness and hospitality. Her attentiveness and charm made us all feel like we had new family in Springfield KY. The breakfasts were delicious and ample and served with warmth and accompanied by delightful tales of the Manor's and surrounding area's history.Thank you Tina. We highly recommend the Maple Hill Manor!Bill and Kate Simmeth

Quick trip to Makers Mark & lovely old house! We received a gracious welcome by Tina (and be prepared to listen to her love of the house and prior occupants and owners.) We had the Lincoln room on SW corner of the house and it was May and hot in that room all night. Its a house not meant for A/C and it was lovingly restored so not its fault. The entire house could use a little care removing spider webs but charming all the same. Tina, hostess did give a great recommendation to restaurant in town [Mordeci?] which didn't look like much but I had a delicious hot KY brown sandwich! Would go again. Thanks for the 2 cakes Tina. Delicious snacks/dessert!

I ll begin with the good and that starts with Tina, the hostess. She genuinely wants her guests to enjoy their stay and makes every effort to do so. The views and the alpacas are nice. Now, the not so good. The photos on the website make the place look much nicer than it is. Admittedly, it s a 170 year old house and it s not expected to be perfect. But, it s downright dirty in some places. Cobwebs and caked dust on outside windows. Sidewalk and porch not swept or blown off. Stained carpet and stained towels in the room we stayed. The breakfast was average at best.We give Tina a 5, but the place itself and our overall experience a 3. In our opinion, our room was overpriced for what we got.
