State Farm recommended Impact Collision in Somerset after my truck was damaged in the June hail storm that hit the area. They got me in right away which was impressive at first, but they moved to quickly and carelessly while trying to capitalize on getting as many customers as they could from that storm. As a result, my truck had to go back in for a repainting and realignment of the hood which took an additional week and a half.Although I was repeatedly asked to leave a five star review at first, I would give zero stars if it was allowed just because of the inconvenience of having to go back and get work done that should've never been allowed to leave the shop in the first place even after they raved about how awesome it looked. My repair estimate was in excess of $11,000.With that said, I wouldn't recommend this shop. The pictures speak for themselves.Service: Painting

We have used impact two times in the past 6 months and I want to say they have done nothing but excellent work, customer service is great, friendly, informative. They care about making sure the customer is satisfied. Also in letting you know the status of the work in progress. I highly recommend Impact collision for any body work needed on your vehicle. I hate to leave a bad review, so I won't, however I did have to go back because they left 2 screws off of the hard plastic step that is on the bumper of a Chevy Silverado, it's kind of an insert, 3 screws hold it in place, and they left 2 off on the passenger side, they did fix it when I went back and showed them. Other than that, they seemed to do a decent job of painting my scratched rear bumper, it was an insurance claim. I dropped my truck off on Monday morning and they had it done by Friday afternoon. The owner of Impact was very nice and helpful.

My Camry was in a bad Hail storm and received 100's of dents. I didn't know if it would ever be the same again. They worked with us and the insurance company to quickly get it finished. Hail damage from a storm did a number on my 2012 Tahoe. Impact did a great job and had it done by the time they said. And it looks better than before the hail damage! Very good people to work with.

Chad and his crew went above and beyond to repair my Jeep Wagoneer. It was damaged in the hail storm in June in Richmond. I waited months for another body shop to pull mine in to be fixed and was told they had to wait for parts. It s the first new car I have ever owned and it broke my heart every day to see all the damage from the storm. I was recommended to take it to Impact Collision after telling others I was still waiting for repairs. I called and they were able to get it in right away. The whole shop worked in a timely manner, kept me informed of the whole process, and had my car looking as beautiful as the day I bought it when I picked it up. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. My lane assist wasn t working and the dealership had told me it was from the damage, impact couldn t find a thing wrong with the actual sensor and even helped me get the dealer to fix it since it wouldn t be covered by insurance. If I ever need a body shop again, this would be where I would take it!

This was amazing, Chip and his office staff were amazing, and did a phenomenal job. You can't ask for a better group of people to work with. They took all of the hassle out of dealing with insurance, and just made this a pleasant experience. The workmanship was fantastic, and you can't tell there was any damage to my vehicle. I am very satisfied with this company and would recommend them to anyone.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Impact Collision did an excellent job of repairing my wife's Jeep! Chad and Gary are super nice to work with, and the crew does amazing work. I give them 5 stars and my highest recommendation. If your car needs body repairs or paint work, Impact Collision is the place to go!************Update August 5th 2020.We got hit at a stop light a few weeks ago and Impact Collision has repaired our Jeep again. We got our Jeep back today, and it looks good as new! Impact Collision did an excellent job. After getting hit about 6 weeks ago, my whole passenger side was severely damaged. Chad and crew did a great job matching the paint (which I thought was impossible) and repairing all of the damage. The only thing I recommend is better communication. It was supposed to take 2 weeks and ended up taking 6. This was nothing they could control due to waiting on parts but I feel they should have kept me updated on the progress. Overall, I am very happy with the service and repair to my vehicle!Services: Tires, Painting, Body & Trim

I had a car wreck, and I took the vehicle to Impact for service in the service was supreme they kept me contact every step of the way I will continue using Impact collision. I had an issue with the molding of the windshield letting air pass through sounding like a very loud helicopter & after verifying that only the molding could be replaced & not the entire windshield as other places wanted to do Impact Collision ordered & replaced the molding in 1 day after the part came in. They are very professional & let you know of any issues that may come up beyond their control if the work can't be completed in the time given . They are very friendly & the work was excellent. I will be loyal customer for any vehicle needs in the future. I highly recommend ImpactCollision & i am a very satisfied customer.Thanks Chad for a job & service well done

I hate to say anything bad about any business but they are good people but I really not like that after our car got fixed we are having problems with trunk not working properly an the body lines don't line up an I went back 4 time to see about getting it fixed an still not happy with it an the guy said it must been wreck before. I said no we got the car brand new with 7 miles on it. Sound like to me they don't know how to fix the trunk. Did they even check if body is out of alignment causing trunk to not line up properly. Know I know were not to talk my car back to an I will contact them about getting it fixed the right way. My wife is not happy. The paint look fine that about it. Don't recommend them if you car been hit hard they may be good for lite body damageService: Body & Trim

I recently brought my 2011 Toyota Avalon to Impact Collision to give this good ole gal a cosmetic facelift due to minor dents and scratches. Chad and his team beautifully restored my car to nearly showroom condition. This is a review from a couple years ago. I took my car to be fixed by them because they were highly recommended. They told me it would be two weeks max. I was having to pay out of pocket for a rental car. It ended up taking about 7 weeks, that is with me calling almost daily. They told me it was taking so long due to it being a rebuild and the prior people fixed it wrong (even though that wasn t even where the prior damage was). When I got my car back my headlights were not adjusted correctly and my air conditioner did not work. I called them, they told me they d fix it, I took my car back and they fixed it. It still wasn t fixed. Took it else where and they had to release some of the Freon in it because they overfilled it. Worked like a charm. However, ever since taking my car there to be fixed, any time I get my oil changed or anything everyone tells me what a horrible job has been done. My front bumper has been missing a tack and screw since having it repaired. Two years later and still having to continue to fix mess ups from them. Will never recommend this place to anyone and will never trust them to do another job for me.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Went to several collision repair shops for estimates. Impact was one of the lowest estimates and was able to get my car in and back to me before any of the others were even going to be able to get my car in. I'm satisfied with their service.

They told me 14 working days & it took 28 days .I went to pickup & scratch still in bumper, paint had chemical reactions & dirt in paint & decal was put on crooked. I took back 1 week later & they reluctantly said they would fix it . 2 weeks later they didn t touch it. They repeatedly lied to me. I had to contact my insurance company & they applied pressure to get them to fix my truck. 1 week later I got my truck back & all was repaired. A few days later I noticed my new headlight wasn t working & rain shields around engine compartment were not reattached & tore. I took it back again & they fixed it except for tore rain gaurd. 2 months to fix approximately $5000.00 worth of damage. Very disappointedServices: Painting, Body & Trim

I dropped my vehicle off three days ago with damage from being rear ended, had it back to me today, looks better than it did before the wreck, they are awesome people to do business with. They covered everything and exceeded expectations, I would highly recommend to anyone! Keep up the good work guys!

Impact Collision was great from the start! Very helpful with the estimate of my damaged vehicle. Quick to get us in after insurance was worked out. They were easy to work with and happy to answer questions and fully explain the status of my vehicle when I called to check on it. They even took care of obtaining and returning the rental I used while my Jeep was being repaired. Highly recommended not only for high quality work, but excellent customer service!!

Impact Collision was the best decision I ever made. I moved my car from one collision center over to Impact without hesitancy because of their professionalism and quality work. They made the whole process SO easy, and it felt effortless from the moment I started working with them. I received my car back this last week, and literally feel like I have a brand new car all over again. Their team is amazing and they don't do anything half way. They are the nicest people to work with and you not only leave with a good looking car, but leave feeling encouraged and cared for. ABSOLUTELY recommend Impact Collision to anyone looking!

Working with Impact Collision was a wonderful experience. They are experienced and gave an in-depth estimate. Their experience was evident in the end product. Our SUV had three areas of need, all varied. All three looked brand new when Impact finished the job and at half the price of the other quotes! We highly recommend them!!!

Great place to have any vehicle body work done! My boss took his truck there after taking it to 2 other body shops. Impact Collision not only was the more reasonable estimate, the crew noticed things that needed to be repaired that was missed by the other 2 body shops. The truck was also spotless on the inside and out!! Amazing job! First and last place to go for any future work that may need to be done!!

What set them apart from other body shops I ve used was the customer service. Every interaction I had with the staff was extremely positive and they went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied, even driving me to pick up my rental car. Their work was fantastic and my car looks brand new. I hope I don t have a ton of need for a body shop in the future (knock on wood), but if I do I know for sure where I ll be going!
