Very knowledgeable open and honest about the cost and the repairs to the transmission and my stepson pickup truck. Was right on time with when they said the rebuild would be completed and they actually were done a day early. From what I gather my stepson is delighted with the results. Longevity of the rebuild is yet to be seen but I have faithfulness the gentleman did their job correctly. My only problem would be that they only offer a 6 month unlimited mileage warranty with the rebuild I would like to see that warranty go to one year unlimited mileage. Other than that the service was great and I would recommend Cumberland transmission to anyone needing a repair or rebuild.

They are awesome. They don't work on Nissan vehicles but they put my car on their computer and told me what was wrong with it. They did not charge me for doing it and even checked my transmission fluid. Great people. I highly recommend them.

If I could leave a 0 star review I would. We took our vehicle there and he told us it needed a transmission, radiator, and a computer. When we picked it up nothing was fixed and they didn't even change out some of the parts that they charged for. Now I'm out over 3000$ and told nothing but lies.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Absolutely the best place around for transmission repair. Knowledgeable and the work is outstanding. My family has had repairs completed here for many years. Between my siblings and parents, we drive from Georgia, North Carolina and Union Ky. Just so we can have the best when repairs are needed. Talk to Wayne, the owner. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Cost Me $2000 & Took 4 Times 2 Get Rebuilt & Just Went Out Again After Less Then 2300 Miles Since The Rebuild & Now Refusin 2 Fix It Even Tho It's Still Under Warranty Was Even Warn'd By 5-10 Different People 2 Stay Away From Him But He Was The Cheapest Around So Had No Choice Should Have Listen'd Now I'm Out $2000Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Shister! Liar! Charged $3800 and didn't fix the van. Took it to Nissan and was fixed for $300. Basically stole from my company. Beware!Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

I had the transfer case on my Jeep Cherokee rebuilt here. They were quick and did an excellent job at what I thought was a reasonable price.

You want quality work with honest ppl with years and years of experience.. Cumberland Transmission is the only place to go in Somerset Ky. Check out there Facebook page... They are 5 stars accross the board...
