Restrooms were disgusting.Half the toilets were out of order. Flies were everywhere. Toilet paper and feces in the floor. No soap. Staff doesn t care.

1/20 Glad to see my favorite convenience store in the Grove giving north county residents a chance not only to skip the traffic in bowling green but also a taste of 6 cents a gallon off per gallon, standard & daily (using a combination of cards)! This Speedway is convenient right off the exit ramp with competitive gas prices, clear pull through pumps and clean bathrooms.

I use to work there and got wrongfully terminated. The pervy gm has a thing for the women in the workplace. I worked to the bone when i was all by myself, came in on days off when someone called out and much more. They protect hate speech,coming from cranky old folk who work their. They also protect racism. Nothing in the store works right and most of the staff are not reliable on keeping up the stores image. Theyll lie like children to have there way and theyll tamper with paystubs. So much evidence against them for it from staff and even the store support crew too. This store needs to be shut down bc its not a good place to go at all. You wont get anything but rude employees, dirty store all over and management who do nothing about anything. The gm, the assisstant manager and store leaders dont do anything to better the place. They're only destroying it.

I called on my way over and asked what time the cafe is open until. They told me 9pm. So I show up a lil after 8pm and they re closing down. Asked the cafe employee i thought you closed at 9? He replies I m the only one working tonight okay so what s another 50 mins? Wouldn t be as upset except I CALLED THEM! Before I showed up. Another thing, there s plenty of room in parking lot but there is a sign posted on the door and it reads: As of July 2022 there will be no more truck parking from the hours of 10pm-6am. And Trucks here after that will be asked to leave. Well I thought it was a great place till this bs happened. Used to look forward coming this way so I can eat the good unique food they serve here. After tonight I m not wasting my time stopping by just to watch them shut down before their advertised time or to risk being asked to leave a perfectly good parking lot for overnight parking.

Worst Speedway I have ever been to! Very dirty.... from the moment we walked in I was disgusted! The coffee "island" was filthy ( not just the counter but also the coffee pots), the bathrooms weren't cleaned nor maintained. The shelves in the store were very disorganized/messy. I would highly recommend stopping at one of the other gas stations at this exit!

They refused to take cash. I was on a bike and barely made it there. Had to go to BP across the street while running on fumes.

New(ish) facility with lots of easy to access pumps for cars, despite usually being busy. Some of the cafe features are nice, but it s a half-baked experience. Small convenience store selection given the travel center layout.This Speedway appears to suffer from the same problems as the rest of them, falling short on the little things like receipt paper at the pumps and usable window washing stations.I get the sense that speedway is run by misers who want to put as little into their business as possible.

Stopped in hoping to get a more peaceful spot to park for the night. Missed the signs that say no over night parking until I shut the truck off. Figured I could get some hot food before going across the street to the travel center to park but the kitchen was already closed down at 630pm. Said well, at least I can use the restroom but that looked like a hazmat zone and that's being polite about it. I've never been so disappointed with any gas station or truck stop before.

UPDATE; 8/25/23. I used to love this place but it's gone totally downhill. No fresh hot food available. The roller grill hot dogs literally were petrified and looked like sad slim Jim's they were sooo old it was disgusting. I ended up getting a cold Turkey sandwich with rotten lettuce on itMakes me wonder if those rude Indians from across the Street bought this when they sold out to TA.. which is awesome now btw.Old review from a year ago: It's interesting, I saw their sign on the door.. no truck parking between 10pm-6am. I asked the friendly gals working inside if the place had turned into a truck hating establishment, despite having 4 well maintained fuel lanes and bulk DEF along with dedicated truck parking spaces. They laughed and said absolutely not! They explained that the owner of the BP across the Street who charges for truck parking, complained because he's losing money to the free parking over here.Now idk if that's true or not.. sounds suspicious to me that this Speedway would let the BP owner bully them.. or is it the same guy who owns both? They did say that they're not going to come out and make drivers leave, because well a few of us are crazy and they feel it's too dangerous to do so.Stay tuned to parking wars Update: the owner of the bp across the street replied to my review over there saying he was just trying to survive like everyone else and that the speedway is a convenience store that's not set up for heavy trucks whereas he is an actual truck stop. So yeah, I believe he DID whine about it. There's your sign drivers to not patronize the BP across the street.

Gas was cheap at $2.54. I'm assuming Speedway doesn't care about Covid. No masks required at least for the cashier.

I have stopped here a few times...as others have stated before me ...they will not come and ask you to leave.. I was told it is because of the greedy man across the street thinking that he is missing out on the 10 free spots here...I will ALWAYS look for a free spot before being held hostage at those stupid prices..anyway...as for the store I can't say ...they were out of ham & bread and a few other items so they couldn't make what I wanted..(I don't like eggs)..but hey the drinks were cold and the coffee this morning was HOT...restroom was dirty but that is the customers not the employees...( I'll never understand the need to take water bottles into a stall then refuse to dispose of them)..please keep yourself and your area clean...we are running out of areas that DO allow us to stay

This Speedway has a hands on manager who is super friendly and knowledgeable. The bathrooms are clean, especially considering they are right off the highway. We have stopped here several times on the way back from Nashville and always has been super clean and stocked.

I read the reviews about overnight parking, which I did not need, an wondered why Speedway would accommodate a competitor? Whatever happened to the Free Enterprise System and capitalism? If BP, which is headquartered in Great Britain, cannot compete with an American company, that's its problem. Americans shouldn't be punished due to BP's lack of service and products.

This is a very clean establishment with friendly staff & cheaper fuel than the BP across the street...whose owner reported them for allowing truckers to park in the back. (Which is why they now have a sign on the door saying that there's no parking between10pm -6 am.)

I don't go here too often due to the attitudes of some employees. This place goes through employees like changing underwear. Always someone different in there and they either don't know jack squat or they are rude. There are a few good ones, it's only during the night. The one's mid-day is a little rude.

UPDATE below.We just filled up at this in Smiths Grove, KY. A fifty miles down the road, my husband notices the fuel gage did not show an increase in gas. So, we stopped at a Shell and it took 8.5 gallons to fill up...yet we were charged for 14 plus gallons at $2.89 and the pump would not give a receipt.If there was a provision for no stars or even better minus stars, I would use that. Good news: After quite a while I finally found the phone# for this Speedway. Spoke to the manager, who was extremely helpful and eased our minds! Still worries us that this happened.

Recently opened store. I love the customer service that employees of Speedway Stores seem to always go beyond what is expected of them. The bar has been set high. I'm hoping that this is the way all Speedway Stores are and not just in South Central KY.

Hello this is the so called Truck Stop in Smith Grove KY location as of today your so called manager at this location is shutting your business to truck drivers that supply your stores across the US to park at this location from 10 pm to 0600 nightly this is the best idea I will only go to places that have parking if this is not a truck stop I'm also a freight agent for 6 different companies that all together have about 10000 owner operators I will make it my mission to let them no about this location

Brand new store off I65 in Kentucky. The store has many options for drinks and food. The gas was cheaper than others in the area. Found this as I was heading to Nashville today. The store was busy and staff was pleasant. They have free donuts for a while here.

I stopped in for a cold drink the machines were not the cleanest at least the pop machine the bathrooms were definitely not the back Chrome pieces had has not been wiped off in like probably ever so much dust on them and the floors haven't been scrubbed along the walls just the dust and the dirt is off the chain I don't know how they passed the health department straight up but I enjoyed my pop anyway

The store and ladies restroom was clean. You could definitely smell the clorox and disinfectant cleaner in the ladies restroom. (Smelled like Clorox to me). The lady at the register was friendly and polite.

I love their coffee. Paid with points and the service is impeccable. Very friendly and helpful. Lots of gas pumps too. No waiting required.

I love speedway in general from the food and drinks to fair gas prices but this one is new and definatly improved. It has a large selection of food and drinks along with a food shop. The reward system is great also
