I was in an unfortunate situation where my car was towed to this place. A couple days later I finally find my car here. I had a bad feeling from the beginning when I was told over the phone appointment only. I get to my car and what do you know, my money gone. Granted, no one should ever have money in their car, however, I couldn t predict the situation I was in. Hard lesson learned. The man who runs Mitchell s blamed the police officer that had my car impounded. I suppose that could be a possibility, which I said out loud. However, I mentioned that my registration was in my car in case he needed to look at it. His response, I saw it already in your car, your good. So when I confront him about the stolen money in my glove box he gets defensive and says Ma am no one has been in your car! I said excuse me, you just said you found my registration so you re lying, you did go through my car . After that I m just flustered about to cry knowing my money is gone. He s shoveling papers around, obviously aggravated because I blamed him or the officer. Its so disheartening when you trust that a professional who should take care of your vehicle when it s in their possession. But, you have to assume people are going to take what you have left on top of the amount to get your car out. (Cash only). I hope to never cross paths with Shelbyville ever again.

I had taken my Jeep various other places and was quite defeated after a local chain dealer really messed my jeep up. After being turned down time and time again by other places, they took the time to actually look at my Jeep and diagnose the problem within 5 mins. They even went above and beyond to fix other things that had been neglected by the dealers previous repair. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this little gem in Shelby Co. They are a true godsend and I will from now on, only use them for anything on any of my vehicles!!

Me and my wife found ourselves stranded in shelbyville, we pulled up to their parking lot our car only able to go 20 mph, they accepted payment over the phone, put our car over other cars that need to be worked on due to thefact that we was stranded almost 100 miles from home, the gave us food, drinks and even cigarettes when we ran out, they also gave me a free used tire because mine was in such bad shape. They truly care about the customer and the environment of the shop was extremely kind and welcoming. I will definitely go out of my way to have my car worked on at their shop. Thank you all so much.

My husband and i are from out of town, our cars cat conv messed up last night and this morning we were lucky enough to come across this wonderful shop. They cleared there schedule to help us out, they ordered the part we needed amd had it there with in 2 hours and even fixed a bad tire we wasnt aware of on the house. The staff here are amazing and such a blessing. Not only did they help us out and get us back on the road in a few hours. They also made sure we were okay with food and drinks while we waited. Thank you all for your kindness and hardwork. We will definitely recommend to anyone needing a good place to go. 10 stars if i couldServices: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

Top notch operation! Good people that went above and beyond to make sure I knew what was going on. Fixed a vehicle that other shops had written off with ease and a very short time!! These guys killed it and will do the same for you! Thanks again!!

Mitchell's has always been honest and respectful. They helped us get our cars repaired they're quick and thorough and make sure the job is done correct. my sister got her truck and had it in another shop for over 9 months and they constantly were putting money into it not fixing it and when she'd had enough she finally called me up and I sent her to Mitchell's that had it fixed in 4 days and it only cost her a fraction of what she had already put in to it and they towed it from Lexington.

I took my car there yesterday for a control arm replacement. Today my car is making way more squeaking noises than before. They gave me a secondary estimate saying to bring it back for $1100. CROOKS! Believe me or not.

Truly a great group of people who are actually honest, friendly, take excellent care of your vehicle and don't charge an arm and a leg. I will never take my car anywhere but to them!!!!!

They will not let you see you car/truck/motorcycle until u pay the bill. And all your property will have been gone threw bye some one. They think only of money's and not the pain you have. Bad place.
