Justin is the Greatest!!!! I called and talked to him about our brakes. We dropped the car off the next day and he called me with the price to fix it and it was very reasonable. Justin said he would call me when it was finished and gave me a time. He called me back exactly when he said he would. He is very knowledgeable and so nice to talk to. I recommend them and will go back.

I was once a happy customer for the last 4 years until today. I noticed I had a nail in my tire on my way to work. I was at this location when they opened and asked if they could plug my tire real quick. I was told they didn't have time and it would be in the afternoon before they could do it. Went down the road to Big O Tire a place I had never been before and within 30 minutes I was back on the road.

The service, both mechanical and customer, is not what it used to be.The last two times I've gone in for service it was not done properly and I have had to go back. The first was to have a leaking tire plugged and I left a note that it was the tire in the trunk of the vehicle. Once I get it home and check it, it was not holding air still. Called immediately and they tell me they thought I meant a tire on the vehicle I hauled it in and assure me they had found a leak in one of those tires so no refund was needed. I drop off again and they say it was a bad seal with the rim. Get it home and it is still leaking so ended up plugging myself. Granted, they didn't charge me for a second repair for the reseal but I'm still skeptical that they made a repair to any tire. This last visit was for 4 new tires. The low tire pressure light came on half way home and the vehicle vibrates at highway speed. I swing by the next day and explain why I'm back and the employee at the desk says it's been "A rough day. Can you bring first thing in the morning?". I just left.

The manager, Mark Abbey is the best guy for doing business with. I ve been buying tires from him since 1980. Wherever he goes to work, I follow. He s always treated me and my friends very well and fairly.

Absolutely, positively the BEST service I ve received from any tire shop ever. While on my family road trip to Chicago for a wedding, I had tire issues, BAD TIRE ISSUES... unfortunately, everything had closed so we stayed the night at the Best Western and early Saturday morning I was second in line at Ken Towery s! They were the ONLY tire shop to have my tire size in stock and pulled my Sequoia in first! They had me in and out with 4 brand new tires in less than 1 hour! The coffee was hot and fresh, the service guy was super understanding, and the showroom was clean! And, to help out even more, the tires were priced extremely competitive! THANKS TO ALL WHO HELPED! You ve earned my business!!!

I've made appointments only to be told by service writers they can't do the services I requested even though I received appointment confirmations. This has happened 3 times in the last 6 weeks. I called the corporate office and requested the District Manager contact me about the issue over a month ago...still have heard from"James". Just called corporate again, we'll see if anyone gets in contact with me, even though the person I spoke with didn't ask for my contact info. Was also informed they can put in a "request" for the DM or RM to contact me. "Request" them to contact an unsatisfied customer? Sounds like they don't really care.

We've been using this location since it opened. We used to get fabulous service. Now when we make our appointments, ahead of time, we still have to wait 1.5 to 2 hours for them to even start on our vehicle. After an hour and a half, my husband inquired about when they would get our oil change done. He was told that just because we had an appointment, that didn't mean that's when they would start! They told him this was a one off, he told them but it wasn't, that it's happened on multiple visits now! The guy was just not apologetic or concernend. My husband's description....the guy was rude as =!@$. In the end, the service was comped. Thanks but no way will we waste our Saturday mornings with this kind of service! Today will be our last time in thisstore. Plenty of other places in town!

I will definitely be returning to this location. I was going to a competitor and I hated the way I was treated at my last visit. This store came highly recommended by several people and im so glad I listened. I loved the fact they were upfront about the price and wait time. I am a very happy customer

We passed our Hylander down to our daughter under the condition she put new tires on it. A few days after having Ken Towerys do the work she called them because she felt a vibration. Instead of telling her to come in they made an appt. For her 3 days later. That night her entire wheel came off while driving, the lug nuts had sheered right off. I went to them directly to allow them a chance to make it right. They said they would. Next thing I know I am getting emails from their lawyers. My car was totaled out and they claimed they had to settle the subrogation with my insurance company first. I wasn't looking for much, for them to give my daughter the money for her tires back, around $700, and to cover my deductible a whopping $300. Wasn't asking for the 2k difference between the insurance settlement and what we had to spend for a lesser and older model car. Or the time and gas spent running between Oldham, Lexington and Frankfort to find said car. Their poor workmanship put my daughter and her boyfriends life at risk. This happened in February and they have yet to make us whole. This is not a local company, they are owned by Monroe out of NY and their actions show they are just a corporate cesspool who does not back their work or take responsibility when they fail.

I absolutely love this place. I called last minute like literally six minutes till they close because I had been stuck on the side of the road with a flat tire. I was in a Camaro, which does not come equipped with a spare tire. Only a tire plug kit but my vaulestem got damaged and the gentleman that was running/managing/supervising The Ken Towerys Tire shop stayed open till I got a ride there. They fixed my valves in very quick and done a great job. Very appreciative of their hard work. Would definitely recommend them to anyone

They did very well explaining the issues they found with my car when they brought it in for an oil change and tire rotation. I appreciated how they carefully explained what NEEDED to be done and what could wait. I felt like they took great care in not lying to customers to make an extra buck like some shady shops would. Very friendly as well. Just wish the guy at the desk didn't cough in my face considering whats going around this time of the year haha.

Had a great experience at the Shelbyville, KY location. Shredded 2 tires on my camper towing it through town and they were able to get me in and get 4 new tires installed right away and get me on my way. Thanks again for the help!!

Although I have given all but one YES answer, I have to say I am very disappointed in the pricing for this particular repair. I was told one price and when I arrived it was a different one and then the salesman made it sound as if he was doing me a favor when he lowered it. I was also made to believe that this was NOT something that I could have done on my own when I was told that I needed a particular tool to calibrate a tire sensor, when in fact I could have simply followed my owners manual and done it myself. Of course I didn t know that till later.I and my wife have faithfully patronized your store since you opened in Shelbyville Ky, but I am extremely disappointed with this visit.Gary and Edith McGowan

Services on the vehicle were good and pricing was good. My concern was being embarrassed in front of other customers. I wrote a check to pay for the service, but after being asked multiple financial questions and waiting 8 minutes in line while they contacted a 3rd party company to verify my check. They came back and said they would not accept my payment. No reason given or any explanation why, just won t take it. I ended up just paying with my debit card with no problems at all. But still embarrassing to have to deal with that, especially with other people listening in. Going forward be wary anyone else who tries to pay with a check.

I had a low tire indicator and pulled in to get my air pressure checked and filled, if needed. Turns out I had a slow leak and it wasn't recommend to drive my usual 50 miles return home. They immediately got me in and out within 30 minutes. All the guys there were so friendly and helpful. This is much appreciated especially when you have a toddler and infant with you. Definitely would recommend.

I took my car there to diagnose a strange noise in the front end. The fellas were kind enough to drive me to work and contacted me shortly after to say what the problems were. They completed the repairs and got me back on the road in far less time than they anticipated and at a reasonable price. Everyone was very friendly from the folks at the counter to the technicians in the shop.I have been to a couple of other KT locations recently and the employees were basically just rude.I am so thankful for the Shelbyville location and the employees that work there!

This location used to be excellent, unfortunately that is no longer the case. The time they take is to do things can be excessive. They told my wife she was leaking oil and needed a new valve cover seal. When told she has been checking it they question her on how to check oilWhen told the value cover seals had been done not that long ago they tried to guilt and manipulate her in to getting it done.I will not be returning to this location.

Best place ever! I watched them help several customers out in ways that go above and beyond any customer service I've ever seen before. They jump started my car in the rain and refused to take any money from me, I donated $40 to the VA for their kindness. Thank you guys for helping me out... the guy from Wisconsin with the red Mustang.

What can I say. This was my first time at this location. This was by far the best experience I ve ever had at an auto repair shop. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The best part of all was that I thought I needed tires and brakes. The gentleman in charged advised me that I didn t. Most places will try to eat your pockets but they were honest. I will go back for any further repairs.

I had my third or fourth appointment with this Ken Towery Store today and will continue to come back as long as you have Mike here to greet and take care of my car. I have followed him from place to place. He is the most honest person I ve run across in my 59 years of driving and maintaining a vehicle. He is respectful to women.

I pulled in right at closing time because my tire was making a noise. The technician, Dennis quickly discovered a screw in my tire. Having a 30 min drive home, Dennis was concerned for my safety. Dale, the manager stayed open for me while Dennis repaired my tire. I am extremely grateful for them and after a long day they didn't think twice about having to stay just a little longer. Thank you and I will definitely be back for all my auto repair needs in the future. YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!
