The customer service is exceptional here. In the few times I have been here, the workers were very friendly, and they always made sure the line moved smoothly. If you have a Cadillac you re better to go somewhere else. I have had a few issues where I have had to return to this Valvoline / another mechanic after having my oil changed. However, when I returned here following my visit, they fixed the issue free of charge, replacing the filter again and filling back up with oil. Good place, good people, but if you know what you re looking at I would check the work done after getting home.

I went there for my normal oil change. While there the team found issues I needed to immediately address with another service provider. Aaron and his team were courteous and knowledgeable. I'll continue to go to this location for my car needs. Wonderful customer service.

exceptional attention to detail, friendly staff, and just all around fantastic energy in the shop! it got a little congested given it s the evening but nonetheless they d check in to make sure you hadn t fallen asleep! will be back for sure:)

These gentleman were able to take of my car in a timely manner with excellent customer service. One of the best Valvoline s I have gone through. Does it take some time to sit there if you have a couple cars in front of you? Sure, don t go when you re on a time crunch. Is it a little pricey? Sure, then change the oil yourself. They are thorough and do a very nice job. It s worth the wait.

Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) (located at 849 Eastern Bypass) service center always provides top notch service. Late evening, January 27, 2024, my vehicle was making alarming noises that worried me greatly. Consequently, 10 minutes to close, I called the VIOC service center nearby in hopes that their technicians might have an opportunity to look at my car. Fortunately, Tree, the lead VIOC manager, answered and graciously agreed to examine my vehicle after hearing the distress in my shaky voice. Despite arriving 3 minutes past the service center s scheduled close, Manager Tree kept her word and instructed Clayton, the VIOC technician, to carefully examine my car. Clayton attentively listened to my concerns and proceeded to quickly identify the source of the unnerving motor noises. Clayton informed me that prior to installing a new tensioner for his vehicle s serpentine belt, his car had produced similar sounds. Clayton recommended visiting my preferred repair shop to see if my vehicle was experiencing the same issue. Moreover, he reassured me that my vehicle had no other visible problems. Confident in Clayton s expert diagnosis, I departed Richmond Valvoline instant oil change service center with the knowledge that both my vehicle and my precious cargo would be able to return home safely. Richmond VIOC (849 Eastern Bypass) exceeded my expectations and reminded me that there are still companies that hold true to their integrity.

They are not cheap, 110$ or so before a coupon but they do go the extra mile on your vehicle.Service 2 stars:When I pulled up there was a line and I was directed to the right side line behind 3 other cars. 2 cars in the other lane 1 was active. The truck being serviced in my lane decided to replace a fuel filter and battery. The employee told me there would be about a 20 minute extra wait. Then he directed 2 vehicles that just arrived to the left line instead of me that had already been waiting as well as the 2 others in front of me. Both new cars on the left were serviced before the cars in front of me. Horrible line maintenance.Oil change:They now use a machine and go through the dipstick holder. They said is causes less wear on the drain pan bolt. This is ridiculous and not the way I want my oil changed. I just don't feel that gets all the old oil out as well as the manufacturer designed oil pan drain. I won't go there again if this is the Valvoline way. I have never heard of it being done this way, and I would have appreciated knowing Valvoline has redesigned the oil change BEFORE I get one.

My tires weren't checked the fluids were not topped off none of the pricing was told upfront had to pull out and sit in the parking lot for them to drain and fill the radiator and then I got told from a live chat agent that I got a bunch of discounts which it doesn't show it on my invoice

They have a lot of customers so there's a bit of a white but their service is extremely well they topped off my fluid do they check your air pressure in your tires you can just set in your car and wait instead of having to sit in a black dark room I would recommend highly recommend them to anyone looking for good fast efficient service sweet friendly service customer service I would give them10 Stars if it was possible

I really wanted to leave a review and thank Tree and Clayton for exceptional service. I have received three oil changes at this location and have decided I will not go anywhere else. Tree is wonderful and informative. She is helpful, patient, and kind. Clayton was very helpful today as well and very kind and welcoming. The staff at this location do a wonderful job.

These guys are awesome they hook me up for a good deal on oil change checked all my fluids and the guy even installed my headlight for me that was broken here's a picture of him doing it these people are awesome come see them... thanks bro

Based on this last experience, I m very upset. Loved this place before today!Usually I m asked what I m there for before I pull into the bay, and today all I needed was a new headlight. But they never specifically asked what I was there for, though they noticed my headlight was out. The only thing I *was* asked was whether I wanted to stick with the full synthetic oil as usual and I replied, If I need it , meaning I didn t need oil but they could top it up if it was a little low. Next thing I know, they have out an oil evac machine sucking the oil out of my car and I was never told why I needed that. Why would I need that??? I had just told him that I had recently had my car serviced. Surely they should ve just checked my oil before completely changing it???? And what I actually came for, they couldn t even do, so now I m out $100 for something I didn t even need! Very aggravating.

I literally waited, almost an hour, with only a few cars in front of me just for them to tell me that they do not have the oil in stock for my car. It was extremely unprofessional and a waste of my time. Would not recommend.

They really over charge for an oil change, very disappointed how high the price was for 1 oil change and an air filter.. even just the oil chang without my filter was $117. That's just ridiculous, I could see maybe $80 but I could do my own oil change for less than half that price. Great service and nice staff but hate the price. Will Not be coming back here ever again.

These guys were great and very fast. Went in for an oil change and a fuel treatment and was out and back on the road in 10 minutes max. Top tier custom service. So, first off this review is strictly based on price and price only!!! The staff we re excellent and did a great job!! However, when you are $45.00 higher with a $7.00 dollar coupon than the other places in town then that is absolutely & utterly ridiculous!!! Now, I understand why the other places in town stay so busy and I can hardly ever get in. That is the only reason I am here and the only reason I will ever come back!!!I guess it s a $45.00 convenience fee!!! LOL I went back and double checked my last invoice with a full synthetic oil change from Evans and it was $57.00 with an equally premium product. They also perform preventative maintenance checks and top off my fluids. In fact they rotate and balance my tires as well. Which, you do not even offer. Your bill was $97.00 with a $7.00 dollar coupon. Again, the only thing I can see that you offer is faster and convenient service. However, you certainly charge a premium for that service to the tune of $47.00 more without your $7.00 dollar coupon. How do you even call it a coupon when you mark it up more so you can just go back and call it a discount!! So, you honestly think your service is worth that ridiculous amount? WOW, I THINK NOT!!!P.S. You didn't even check my air filter!! Premium service, Ha, premium PRICE!!!!

After a transmission flush my car wouldn t change gears. Took it back and they fixed it and was told to come by again to make sure everything was ok. After I parked I was told they didn t have enough people and needed to wait in line. The manager did try to make it right having me come back but the staff is not great.

The crew working was so engaging and polite. This is the first service shop I have ever walked away from actually smiling. I will continue to come back here. They offer a great deal of services and I wasn t there but 15 minutes. Out of everywhere I've got my oil changed, Valvoline has meant above and beyond the standard. Walmart, Pennzoil, yeah, I got you. Penske has nothing on the standard that was set here today! The associates checked my headlights, brake lights, reverse lights, tag light, bright lights, and turning signals along with the typical oil change packages that are universal including talking fluids off and inflating tires.
