2 thousand for a key an bcm and took a month the truck still doesn't run so I had a tow truck pick up the vehicle then was told I couldn't come back never got no attitude just went on. The mechanics do not have knowledgeable troubleshooting skills on electronics if a scanner doesn't work they throw parts at it till you say enough I ended up paying 2 grand an a month without the vehicle an still don't know what's wrong with the truck they put in notes needs 2 keys well Paul Miller Ford put 2 Ford keys on it and still no luck

My DEF system was failing on my F350, and these guys got my truck in, and completely changed my DEF system in 1 day. Excellent customer service, and work. Definitely would recommend them to anyone. 5 Gates Ford has earned my business as well as future business. My truck trade went extremely easy due to the competent methods in sales and their leadership at this dealership. All dealerships are nice, it's professionalisim & competency in how it's handled that is lacking.Strongly urge anyone to see Gates Ford before going anywhere else in Central KY. Their character is above questioning, they called to tell me I left something of considerable value in the truck I traded. I would not expect that from most dealerships.

New Vehicle Purchase. Gates Auto Family always does what they say they will do. They delivered our new Bronco and didn't jack the prices up like so many other dealers are doing. Go talk to the team at Gates, you won't be disappointed.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would absolutely. NEVER take your vehicle to this place for service. I have taken my vehicle in several times for "the works" oil change and my bill has never been more than $65-$70 which is reasonable for an oil change. My bill was $190!!!!! A service was performed on the bill for "replacement of lug nuts" for a whopping total of $130 for that service alone. FOR LUG NUTS. The kicker is that I was never told this service was being performed until after it was finished. So I call up there to ask a manager about the service. Victoria in the service department answered the phone and I explained to her this issue. She got a huge attitude and rude tone of voice with me, called me a liar and stated that she told me of the service before it was performed WHICH WAS NOT AT ALL THE CASE, I was told after the fact. She proceeded to argue with me, and once I called her attitude out she called me "sweetie" and "honey" which is extremely disrespectful because she was trying to be a smarta** about it. She kept calling me a liar however, and refused to correct this situation. She stated her manager was not in and there was nothing she could do. So I am following up on this but I have a feeling it will not be made right. For a local business, y'all sure do treat your local customers with such disrespect to make a buck. This was appalling. NEVER TRUST YOUR BUSINESS HERE, THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT MAKING MONEY AT YOUR EXPENSE AND IGNORANCE AND WILL NOT RIGHT THE ISSUE. DISGUSTING!!!

It took gates ford nearly 3 weeks to fix my ac leak...which was under warranty. I had to basically call them to remind them they had the vehicle. It was virtually ignored. Then i get the vehicle back and it has an extra 700 miles on the vehicle somehow and they give a bogus explanation for it. The only thing that was right was that the AC did get fixed, but i didn't have my vehicle for almost a full 3 weeks

Took my F250 for an oil change and tire rotation. They were busy so I dropped it off and got a call about an hour later saying it was ready for pickup. Upon arrival, I went inside and paid $171 and walked out to get in when I noticed my tires had not been rotated. I could tell because there was one tire that was muddy and the mud was splattered in my wheel well from having to let someone pass me on my narrow country road the day before. All 3 of the other tires and wheel wells were clean. It was obvious that they had not done the service I had just paid for. I demanded a refund, which I got, and I went storming off to find the GM. I informed the GM of the situation and he offered his apologies and wanted to get my truck back into service. I refused of course. I then questioned if they had even changed my oil. After a look underneath, it was apparent my oil had been charged because the filter was new. I will never return to Gates Ford for any reason and I'd suggest you avoid them as well.Services: Tire rotations, Oil change

I had been taking my car here (2017 Ford Focus) since I moved to Richmond last year: I ve been having the same issue with the car for months and months. They consistently told me it was engine mounts and a bunch of other issues. Every time I would pick up the car, they said it was fixed. Last week, same occurrence. I proceeded to request a technician to ride with me in the car to show them that nothing had been fixed. Ever. All of a sudden mid ride, they told me something was wrong with the transmission. Guy with glasses (I think he s a manager) then told me he thought it had been fixed per the techs assuring him it had been. No apology, just excuses. They proceed to quote me thousands of dollars in repairs, after MONTHS AND THOUSANDS SPENT ALREADY, on multiple diagnostics and repairs that weren t needed. I will never take a car back to their service center again. I ve never gotten a refund or follow up on my terrible experiences here. Don t take your car here, because they are either extremely stupid or just manipulate and lie to get more money.

I recently purchased a 2020 Ford expedition. We had a great experience during our search for a bigger vehicle. Chris Miller was absolutely great. There was no pressure and he allowed the vehicle to sell itself, as they should. It was a wonderful experience. Definitely recommend.

Gates Ford left me really mad and I will never be back. I wish I could give you zero stars!!!! I knew the car needed an oxygen sensor and told them, was charged 150 for the diagnostic fee anyway and then told it would be 700.00 for the oxygen sensor!!! I replaced the part for less then 100.00. Both service advisors were sub par at best and the woman was extremely rude. I won't be back!!Service: Auto emissions testing

We have always been apart of the Ford Family. But when my vehicle all of a sudden stopped working the other day, so we took it to Gates Ford. They got my vehicle in as fast as they could and it was fixed right away. Colin in the service department was awesome. He took the time to listen to my concerns, he offered suggestions, and got my issues taken care of. For the issues that he was not sure about, he was clear that he would speak with others in the shop to get the best answer. While I was waiting in the dealership, he kept me appraised of progress on my truck, and got everything done sooner than expected. Great experience! Fantastic service!I was on my way from Charleston, SC to Richmond KY to meet my sister and mom. I would be returning the following day with my mom back to Charleston. On my way there I experienced violent shaking of my front end after going over rough roads that only subsided by slowing to below 60 mph. I limped in to Richmond and found Gates Ford dealership. I told the service rep what was happening, he knew what it was. He thought there might be a recall on it. He got my vin number and sure enough there was a recall. They had the parts and 2 hours later and an oil change. I was on my way.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Auto maintenance

I would like to take a moment to say THANKS to Thomas (Service Manager) and Michele (service rep). My wife and I have had a trip planned for over a month to pull our fifth wheel to Florida for a month stay. As luck has it we have a check engine light activate. As time was short they got us in and took care of the problem, which turned out to be a considerable task. I have dealt with this dealership since having purchased our 2011 Ford F-250 and we have never been disappointed. You guys are the best. First time I have been to this dealership since Gates Auto Group took it over.Under the previous Madison County Ford owner I had engine diagnostic and repair done and it was a DISASTER! I basically got charged a ton of money for NOTHING and my truck died less than 200 feet from the shop as I was leaving. Their answer was "You need to buy a new truck."The GATES PEOPLE ARE TERRIFIC!Services: Vehicle Inspection, Vehicle safety inspection

They respected me instead of acting like just because i am a woman i do not know what i am talking about. I use Gates Ford for servicing on all 3 of our Ford vehicles and I have always been completely satisfied with the service. It is not always the cheapest but I have full confidence everything is taken care of in a professional manner and if it is repairs, they are done right the first time

Warranty work for a door actuator. 1st appointment was in January and needed to order part. In July, I hadn't heard anything and was told they needed to order the part after I dropped the truck off. Finally in September I had to call again and was told that the part didn't show to be on order. After the 3rd time and 10 months later, it was finally fixed. Come here for routine service and oil changes. Very friendly sales and service staff, checking in often to see how they can assist or help.
