Wouldn't take anything here he lies and said motor was blowed when all it was was a bolt holding the torque converter from turning over and still charged them for a new motor and for changing it so I wouldn't trust anything he says

I was driving from Southwest Florida back to New York. My car began I took it into G's just as they were opening for business. They got my car in fast repaired fast and efficiently and got me back on the road. Very affordable, awesome staff. Thank you very much

Unexpectedly needed help on my way back home. Though I had to spend much more than I anticipated, they were incredibly helpful and friendly. Took my Subaru Baja here for a wheel speed sensor and evap leak (I have some experience with mechanic work, do much of my own work, have worked in entry level shops) left it with G's for investigation. My diag tool wouldn't connect with Subaru's ABS module, and my garage has a motorcycle that I am rebuilding in pieces that I'd rather not deal with moving. Since it needs to be on a lift; I opted to give G's a try.I get a call, they tell me they refuse to repair evap on this; that they just don't do this. Ok; this isn't out of the ordinary. Sometimes EVAP stuff is whack-a-mole and diag is hard on it at times. Fair enough. I farmed this out for a reason. It's not a fun job.Continuing, they tell me a wheel speed sensor is out on the front left. (My diag tool wouldn't connect to the ABS module so I needed to know which one was out. This is what I expected.I was quoted 245.00 for a wheel speed sensor. Rock Auto had multiple brands priced from 45 dollars. 40ish minutes of labor (probably double the actual time to replace). I told them I would source the part.I was quoted 85 for an axle (which they said was bad, but we've had no indication of any issues), but admittedly; I haven't had it up on the stands, wheels off, in about a year. I thought since the price was so bad on the sensor; I'd check the cost of a new axle, which when priced, multiple vendors from 35 dollars. Quoted half hour of labor, which is puzzling? I would expect a lot more labor than this. Axles can really suck sometimes.I was quoted for new wheel bearing at 50 dollars in parts cost (13 ish bucks on rock auto, multiple brands) and 3.7 hours labor. Now 3.7 hours of labor is what I would consider to be excessive with this. When pushed about this; they claimed it's because they needed to press the bearing out of it's race and press a new one in. I offered to buy and supply the parts; they refused to install them. I know it takes moments for someone with a press to do this.When I asked them could I supply the parts; They said 'rock auto' parts are bad luck for them in the past. Rock Auto is a store, that sells parts from multiple manufacturers.While I was unhappy with the reasons behind denying, what I consider to be reasonable substitutions. I understand their position.

I had the rear differential replaced on my Crown Vic and was quoted at one price. Upon completion which took longer then the anticipated day the price was almost 2x the quoted amount but they honored the quoted price which was a relief. I had my transmission rebuilt by them a year before this and it is still running good.I highly recommend G's Auto as they have done me right and they are up front with you on if needs replacement or it can be left alone for now and replaced when needed down the road, Just remember to get it fixed and not wait 1.5 years to get the pinion seal fixed which I did not do and had to get the rear diff replaced due to my lack of attention. They said it would last a while but needed to be replaced sooner then later but was fine to drive for a while. It was fine for 17 months but on the 18th it failed and that is why I had to get the rear diff replaced.Services: Transmission, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Engine repair, Brakes

Was quoted one price for a transmission replacement and was charged over two hundred dollars more. When I asked about the difference I was told when I paid in advance for my parts I wasn't charged tax. I was orginally told the entire job would be warranted for 6 months. When I asked about this on picking up my car 5 days later than promised I was told I was mistaken and not told that. They also said some transmission fluid leak is normal. Do not go here. Do not do what I did, pay way to much for a transmission they said is normal if it leaks.

THE ABSOLUTE BEST AUTO MECHANICS IN MADISON COUNTY AND SURROUNDING AREAS!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERYONE THAT READS THIS! I was treated with the upmost respect, it is family owned and they really care. I have a Lexus and took it in, to get a new transmission. They did a wonderful job! The owners, called me with concerns of a couple other problems. They fixed those, as well and gave me a wonderful deal! Anyone that owns a luxury vehicle, knows that when you show up at a mechanic's, they automatically want to charge you more. THAT WAS DEFINITELY, NOT THE CASE WITH G'S AUTOMOTIVE! I WAS TREATED AS IF I DROVE , JUST A BASIC VEHICLE! IN REGARDS TO MY PRICING. AGAIN, THEY REALLY WORKED, WITH ME, I EVEN MADE PAYMENTS, PRIOR TO GETTING IT FIXED, BECAUSE IT WAS A TRANSMISSION. THEY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND, TO HELP ME WITH IT. SINCE I DID NOT HAVE ALL THE MONEY UP FRONT. I had my SUV towed from Nicholasville to Berea/Richmond, where they are located. Just in labor alone, I saved, about $600 PLUS! They are the best and my vehicles will go nowhere else, but G'S AUTOMOTIVE! I hope you all read this because I want to give you a huge thanks, for all the work you did. My vehicle runs great and I no longer worry, about the other issues, it was having, because they were fixed there, as well. Best mechanics ever!THANKS MR. & MRS. CARPENTER SINCERELY,RACHEL KELLY

Great service ! Very friendly people . went in not knowing what I needed . ended up being a transmisson which I figured . just hated to admit it . truck would not hardly move at all . they took care of me got me a transmisson got me scheduled and installed very quick service delivered on all aspects . truck runs like a new one . very reasonable labor overall completely satisfied . and glad to have yhe worry off my mind thanks so much you guys
