By far the worst automotive service I ve ever experience. About a year ago or so I brought my EVO X here for a simple alignment.. I told the manager that it has a remote start on it (it s manual) and to put that in the notes and let his techs know. He assured me he would! I told them not to park it in gear. Lo and behold, sure enough they finish my alignment, tech parks it in gear and I watch as my car goes flying onto the curb. Rips my bumper off, tears up my under carriage and about a day later I find that I have an exhaust leak that was knocked loose because of it. Manager shows up about 30 minutes later and says he s going to patch it up , bends my bumper back into place, zip tie undercarriage best they could piece it, etc (which has never been the same since) and I went on my way pissed. Took it to an actual professional shop and fixed everything with about $2,000. While I was still at Firestone one of the techs told me that the same tech that ran my car up on the curb also put the wrong oil filter in another car during an oil change which then caused it to fall out after the customer drove off just a couple miles down the road and cost them a whole engine. Stay far, far away from this establishment. They never owned up to their mistake, offered me anything in replacement or helped out with the expenses they cost me. Pictures are added, I have full proof with receipts, photos with dates, whole 9 yards.

Our family is heading to Florida from Michigan and hit something and ended up with an instant flat on the side of I-75. We called the Firestone service center and they recommended a towing company, ordered a new tire for us, and from the time of the call to getting us back on the road was only a total of about two and a half hours. The staff was so kind and took great care to get us back on the road. Thank you!!

The team at Firestone Richmond is the absolute best. I have never received such personal care when buying new tires. I was out of town and had a short window to get tires on my vehicle. I had the car dropped off and did it all over the phone. They not only took care of the tires, they drove it to Lexington because I did not have the correct lug key. It was a special Audi lug key. Because Audi would not let them barrow it or buy it, they stayed with the car while Audi removed the lugs. They paid to have the service completed and drove it back to Richmond. New tires and new lugs. Just unbelievable customer service. Will never go anywhere else. Customer for life!

Customer service was exceptional. Not only was my issue solved, the person at the front helped me plan for future maintenance ( quote on brakes) and I took advantage of their promotion on lifetime alignments. I highly recommend.

Was told 45 minute estimate but it took more then 2 hours to do the oil change, tire rotation and battery change. While friendly and keeping me updated on the need for a new battery. It took really long. Overall though I would suggest going there as previous experiences were not as long. Just wish the times estimated were more accurate. Luckily the mall is right there for walking and shopping.

Very weird vibe here. Not sure if the guy at the counter was having a bad day but he wasn t very friendly. I went in for a tire change and brake inspection because the car was shaking when braking.The guy there didn t go over what type of tire they were putting on or any kind of options on availability. Seems like a weird practice most tire places will discuss options with you or at least let you know that s the only option and what type of tire it i. Left the car there, they called and said after inspection I need rear rotors and a rear alignment. Roughly 500 after parts and labor. After picking up the car they didn t go over anything that they did and why. No brake inspection paperwork or breakdown of what they found during inspection. Car still shakes really bad when braking didn t even fix the issue. I was in a pinch and they are open on Sundays only saving grace. To many other options around to go here and have to get rework done somewhere else.

Evan took good care of us. He truly went above and beyond, getting our car in quickly, checking all our tires, offering solutions for needed repairs. He was very professional and truly a positive experience. Highly recommend.

I have come here multiple times but every time the wait is worse. There is never anyone in the building waiting and they tell me it will be a 45 minute wait. I ve been waiting here for about 1 hour and 30 minutes with my car still not being taken back for a simple oil change. I have an appointment but clearly the car isn t going to be taken back in a reasonable amount of time. Last time they ordered the wrong part and didn t check the part till I was already waiting 2 hours, which means I sat there for over 3 hours.

I can t say enough about this place! On our way to Florida, my 2013 Cadillac SRX had an issue that made it inoperable and this Firestone location was the closest to where we had the car troubles. They were able to quickly diagnose the issue and get a part ordered that arrived the next morning. They came in early the next day and had us back on the road hours before they promised they would. The whole team was not only knowledgeable, but very kind.

A little on the pricey side, but they take really good care of you and your concerns. They usually have you fixed within the day and let you know of problems, if any.

I never leave reviews because as a manager myself, I know how important they can be to a business. Today my partner took my car to the shop where she requested an oil change and an overall check up because my car was acting weird. After they checked it, they said nothing was wrong with it and that s fine but we also requested an oil change which was never done. Once they came back to tell my partner that nothing was wrong with it she said OK can we please get the oil changed though? she said that they went back and did something to the car and returned and gave her a receipt of only doing the check up. After that she was just frustrated and ended up leaving. They kept telling her that she just needs to take it to a dealership and even after requesting an oil change. We took it there on a Sunday because they were the only place open and they should appreciate that we chose them for our business. Definitely not a way to win a first time client!

The guys there bent over backward to get what I needed done, including going out of their way to get the type of oil I use in my cars, Mobile 1 European. They invited me to come back the following day to get an issue with a TPMS sensor sorted. These guys are great. Too few companies want to earn your business these days, they take it for granted that you will be back. The main problem I had was a poor tire mounting and balancing of four new tires purchased and mounted and "balanced" elsewhere, where they told me that my wheels were warped and couldnt get a good balance. The guys at Firestone discovered that wheels were not warped or bent and that the new tires hadn't even been balanced at all and still had the original balance weights on the wheels from years prior. I'll always make mental lists of companies that I believe in, and a list of those that will never get a dime from me again. Firestone is one to believe in and be proud of.

Evan and Drew and Nick were extremely helpful and knowledgeable when my BMW was driving "wonky" and I needed it fixed asap. Got tires for my Lexus, knew someone there. I have had a Firestone card for over 15 years and this place was EXCELLENT. Got some minor scratches on my rims, due to a machine being down, but all in all perfect customer service. They went all the way to fix it and gave me a credit for damage. Whixh was no biggie bc the deal in tires compensated for that .

Most excellent service. I was a walk in after call for late afternoon on Black Friday, and was treated with respect, and my emergency tire issue was resolved. I could have scheduled front brakes for another time, but they did that too, also solving a rotor problem. Great guys, but forgetting to put on the oil cap and leaving in a rag is some low grade work. On top of forgetting hub caps in previous visits.My partner got ahold of the guys, they want to make it right. Review changed from two star, again good guys.

Look, Firestone shops are good to pop in and get some free air in your low tire if you can. Hell you might get them to check all 4. Or maybe you need your fluids all looked over, or a light bulb replaced. Keep it as quick as possible and simpler the better for places like this. Alignments . No. Front end suspension and steering . No. Tire balancing and rotation, maybe if you can get like a player coupon or sometimes. Coming from someone who was in and out of the auto tech field for 15+ years - Go to a notable company, usually small local private businesses are the best you ll get. You don t want the care of your vehicle to be commercialized. You want to feel safe and sound when you pull in and out. At least better than when you came into the shop.Shop around. Read. Call. Avoid shops that have tire names as company names. Again, just my experience and opinion.

Evan and his team was amazing! They really showed they cared about me understanding everything that s happening & why. He was patient with me asking a million questions! 5 stars for customer service! Let me preface that I have never taken a vehicle here in the past. So, I showed up on a Saturday morning and asked how long to put my spare tire on (I had a screw in tire and nobody carries my tire size). The representative told me he would get on it in 10 minutes. Wow! Then I asked how much. He said he would take care of it himself and it was free. Wow! They pulled my vehicle right in and took care of me. Even though they knew I wasn't going to buy a replacement tire from them. Wow! Why all the wows? I was a service advisor for several years and this is the level of service I used to offer, which sometimes isn't the norm. Back on topic. I offered a $10 tip for their service and they refused 3 times (I finally insisted they buy some soda or water for the fridge and they accepted it). Big thumbs up to the staff at this location.

Came in at 9:30 am to get new tires 4 hours later they want me to stay for an alignment lol Oh I did have a scheduled appointment. Place is dirty phone went dead they had a charger hooked to a die hard battery oh that didn t work. I could have done it faster myself. Can t give 0 or negative rating but they have earned it. The mechanic came to me with an issue 3 times. First my back magically had a small needle in my tire, but I was luckily because he was able to find it and fix it. Next oil filter was barely hanging on but since I m on crutches from post surgery he turned filter real quick and helped me out . He wouldn t let me see it and I was already feeling like this place isn t trustworthy. Then my car wouldn t start and I needed a battery when we tried to leave. Mechanics couldn t figure out how to jump car and took another mechanic in order to help him do this.Today the car was taken to AutoZone and they confirmed battery has full charge. Not a trustworthy business, I have changed oil in many vehicles and taken my car anywhere from Walmart, dealership, or other mechanic shops when I didn t have time to get oil changed on my own. This is first time I had been taken advantage of and if it happened to me they are definitely do it to other people. Wasn t worth $112 to have oil and tires rotated.Service: Oil change

First time, I had an appointment. The appointment was for 1030am, dropped it off earlier. Went and killed time while my car was being worked on. Go and check on my car at 530ish because my call was not answered. They had my car all day and forgot about!!! So I had to make another appointment for my car.

I am blown away by the service here. I had gone to a competitor in Lexington and had taken half a day off work to get tires as well as some repairs. After working on the other stuff for hours, they tell me the tires they ordered aren't the right size and are 17-inch instead of 18. When I called Firestone, the manager told me he had someone headed to Lexington to get a load of tires and could have him pick up 4. I was all in. However, this other place still had my car on the rack. Firestone was supposed to close at 6pm. After fighting traffic out of Lexington, I didn't get there until 6:15pm. He told me to take my time getting there. He knew I was concerned about driving in the rain on the old tires the following day and waited and put them on. I'm a happy camper and I can't say enough about the level of not simply customer service, but kindness and human compassion. Thank you, Firestone. You might have saved my life.
