My experience wasted my time and I felt undervalued as a customer. I had received multiple emails and phone calls from employees about the desire to purchase my Ford Expedition Max. I finally allowed them to set up an appointment for today to have an appraisal done. I had been contacted by at least 3 different people in 2 days verifying this appointment and stating their desire to purchase this vehicle. When we arrived at Bruce Walters Ford, everyone acted like they had no idea this appointment had been set up or why I was there. After repeating the same story twice, Jeff Thacker took my vehicle for a test drive. When he came back, he told me he was not interested in purchasing my vehicle because the sun/moon roof didn't work and it would not go into 4WD low. I told him that was interesting because we had never had a problem with this before. I told him I was going outside to check those things because that was odd. He handed me the keys, said he was not interested, and walked away. I was perplexed by his behavior. I went back to my vehicle and immediately opened the sun/moon roof without any difficulty. I asked the very kind salesman, Jeff Brown, who had talked to me the entire time my vehicle was being test driven to come outside so that I could have him witness that my sun/moon roof was functioning properly before I left the lot. He apologized profusely for an incident that he didn't even cause. When I got home, I contacted Brittany Carter, who had initially called me and set up the appointment to let her know what had happened and I sent her pictures and videos of the functioning sun/moon roof and the vehicle operating in 4WD low. I don't expect anything to happen but I felt like the public needed to know that my time was wasted and I felt to be a nuisance in an establishment that pursued me endlessly to get me up there. My scheduled maintenance services will now be taken elsewhere and Ford F-150 we had planned to look at today for my soon to be 16 year old son will not be purchased there. By the way, I did not let anyone know til after the incident that we had planned on test driving the F-150. This may not matter to Bruce Walters Ford but I hope it matters to the members of my community who value my opinion.

My experience with Bruce Walters was beyond amazing. I had been looking for a new vehicle for a couple months but wanted something specific, I shared this with Paul at Bruce Walters. He ordered the exact car and made sure I was updated through the whole process. All of the staff was very accommodating and made this the easiest process possible. I would recommend Bruce Walters to anyone.

Don't know where to start?Called service dept on 12-6-23 to schedule an appointment for the recall on our 2015 transit van, they said they would order the parts and call me back with an appointment. DID NOT CALL ME FOR AN APPOINTMENT.Called on 1-8-24 to see if they had the parts and to schedule for the appointment, they had no parts order and could not find any paperwork where I called, so we did it again they took my info and said they would order the parts and call me with an appointment time. DID NOT CALL FOR AN APPOINTMENT!Called on 2-5-24 they don't any any information on me calling the 2 previous times but said they had the parts in stock and they set me a date to have the repairs made. Appointment was on 2-13-24 @ 10am. This is today and after being at the dealership for about an hour they call me on my phone and say they don't have all the parts to make the repair and said they would have to order them and I would have to come back so then the lady ask me if the flex coupling had been changed before and I said yes. We had a recall on it before and the change the coupling, but we got another recall in the Mail saying that even if we had the coupling changed on the first recall that we needed to get this recall done because the because the coupling may cause separation of the driveshaft. I informed the lady of the letter that we received from ford and she said that since we had it done once,we don't have to have it done again. that's not what the letter from ford said... I tried to tell her but she said we did not have to have it done.So when I got back home I called ford on the recall and they said that the recalled needed to be done! The dealership was wrong and for me to call another ford dealer and get the recall taken care of as soon as possible.So I called another ford dealership and they are going to order the parts and they gave me an appointment date to have the recall fixed.I don't think this is good business for Walter's or Ford. I am not a fan!!!

Terrible experience with purchasing and service. I took my vehicle for a repair and they charged me $139 stating it wasn t a warranty issue. The warranty company told me it would very likely be covered. I opened a case against Walters with Mitsubishi! When the repair is approved I ll go anywhere but here to have it fixed. The service manager was so incredibly rude to me. Avoid at all costs!

I am writing a new review after talking to the service manager. I took my Focus to get a recall, and I am told that they didn't replace the purge valve because there were no codes. The fact is I had my engine light come on after driving off the lot. I later confirmed that I had the codes at AutoZone. However, the recall doesn't say that codes are the only thing that requires the purge valve being replaced.2. Check for DTCs P0420, P1450, P0443, P0452, P0456, P0460 and/or P2196 and for customer complaints regarding any of the following:a. Inaccurate fuel gauge indication.b. Inaccurate DTE.c. Evap-system drivability concerns such as hesitation, rough idle, or loss of power.3. If no to step number 2, repair is complete. If yes to step number 2, proceed to step 4.4. Replace the CPV. This is a one-time replacement and only if required at the time of the initial recall repair.I had two of those three complaints that I shared with the service department. I went back to Bruce Walters and asked them to do the recall correctly. Instead, I get charged a $139 diagnostic fee for them agreeing that the purge valve needed to be replaced. The service manager was no help because he again stated they didn't see codes. If Bruce Walters actually talked to customers, my recall would have been done correctly. Anyway, I replaced the purge valve, and it fixed my issue. I have also had service done with Thornhill. They actually corrected an issue with no diagnostic charges.

Customer Service and the Sales representatives were extremely friendly nice and helpful. Family-friendly staff and their all about working with the customer to make sure you're satisfied when you're purchasing and/or just looking to buy! Definitely love this place if your out there, ask for my daughter... Laura Meade on( second lot.. Ford lot ) She's helpful, and you will get the best service. They're there to help find the right car or truck to suit your needs!!!!

Our experience at Bruce Walters Ford could not have been better! Sheila Kessler, our sales representative did everything she could to make our trade go smoothly. She went the extra mile to make sure she put our son in a car he really wanted. I recommend seeing Sheila any time you decided to make a new car purchase!

updating this review I'm leaving it at 1 star only because I know others go thru reviews the same as I do, to look for the 1 star or negative reviews to get an idea of the pros &cons of a company.So after Nissan denied the warranty work, I was contacted by Bruce Walters Ford lot, where I purchased the vehicle(this dealership has multiple lots, keep that in mind). Since my car was under factory warranty I had to take it to their Nissan lot. This is where I think some of the main problem lies, which was talked about later and is something their company is looking into. Some way to better communicate lot to lot when it comes to repairs. After discussing the ordeal with the sales manager Eric at the Ford lot, he was very nice and understood the situation was a huge mess and worked with me, covered the cost to get my car repaired, I do appreciate that. I would suggest that if you purchase from this dealership and have any kind of issues to stay in contact with the sales manager @the lot that you purchase from so there's not such a delay in getting to the bottom of the problem and repairs done. I'm still not satisfied with Nissan's warranty, but that's not something the dealership can control of course.But I am satisfied that they offered to help cover the repairs. Not sure if other dealerships would do that.1star is very very generousPlease whatever u do, do NOT buy a" certified pre-owned" or whatever lovely name the throw on it... vehicle from this dealership no matter which lot u go to, you're getting got! Factory warranty is bogus! Don't waste your time money on extended warranty either. & Definitely do not have your vehicle serviced through them. Because apparently they sell this kinda garbage This vehicle was purchased 4 months ago. Even tho we kept maintenance up it did not make a difference, the damage was done and I'm responsible to pay out of pocket for an engine and turbo that the lovely factory warranty will not cover. That type of damage does not happen in 4 months! 20 grand down the drain. Please look into reviews and any info u can on these dealerships before you end up in my shoes I wish I would have researched because now I'm finding out how they really work. It's sad that anyone would conduct business this way. Your warranty's are worthless! If you make a purchase from here, hope u saved enough for a good pair of walking shoes

Sold my father who was dying with cancer a truck whose fram broke within a month. Refused to fix it it trade it in. Also they jacked my car up. I had the tires rotated and when i tried to drive home, it shook so bad i couldnt leave. Had to raise hell to get them to look at it. Still didn't get it fixed

I bought a used vehicle a year ago back in march. The engine and transmission both failed in the vehicle before i even had it for a full year. I know it was a risk to buy a used car but i expected to get more life out of it. instead i got less than a year. i paid good money out of pocket for it too.

Terrible dealership, advertising vehicles with a blown transmission. Was in contact with them for four days about an Explorer, was told no known problems and scheduled an appointment for 2 pm Saturday, drove 2 hours to the dealership for the vehicle to have a blown transmission. They could ve called and canceled my appointment. Total waste of time if you plan on visiting Bruce Walters Ford in Pikeville KY. Oh they also said they were taking the vehicle to auction and would sell it for 10,000 ( doubt they will release the blown trans. Info) So beware at the auction for a Black Explorer Sport and take your business to a different Ford Dealer!

Would not recommend this service department. I have a 2019 Ford Escspe with about 82,000 miles. I took it in and told them what the car was doing. They kept my car a week and told me nothing was wrong with it..charged me $100 when I picked it up. The next day the transmission went out when I was driving to work. They had my car over a month and when I picked it up I was told that I needed to purchase a battery because mine was dead. That was $252. I had to call and get updates..no one bothered to keep me informed. I also emailed the manager twice with no response.

We were scheduled for a showing at the ford lot by the internet sales team. The internet sales girl even called us yesterday to confirm our appointment. My husband took off work early and drove over a hundred and twenty miles round trip to get to the dealership. We were told that it was at the Chevy lot so we continued and went to the Chevrolet lot. , to find out that the car is a demo and it was loaded out.We were told sorry.

Bruce Walters service department did exactly what was asked of them, and in a timely, transparent, and professional manner. I was however asked afterward what the Ford Motor Co. could do best to improve. This was my answer: Three words Right to Repair. I HAD to bring my 2000 Ford Windstar van in and PAY for PCM "reprogramming", despite owning thousands of dollars in tooling, a bidirectional scanner, and having done the diagnostic and parts replacing. That is the honest and absolutely outrageous ridiculous truth. I believe in right to repair, and my 24 year old van doesn't even comply, let alone the modern vehicles your producing. For car manufacturer's to regain my (and the American People's) trust, they need to make cars that are transparently repairable, even if that means going back to older "less efficient" designs for the sake of ease parts production, maintenance, repair, and overall ownership. Stop putting so much plastic in the engine bay, and figure out how to lobby so that fuel efficiency is the #1 concern for "emissions". Coming from a late 90's baby, who's dream vehicles are the '80-'83 1.6 TD VW Rabbit Truck and '86-'94.5 6.9 and 7.3 IDI F-250-F350 trucks, I dream of buying vehicles that I can maintain and repair myself, and score high efficiency numbers at the pump.

Josh is Always Available and Willing to Help even on his days off. He goes Above and Beyond to meet the needs required for me to buy a vehicle. We have bought 3 Vehicles from Josh over the last 3 years and he will have my business for future purchases!!! Josh definitely Takes Care of You!!!! We Love You Josh????. He stayed after hours and worked around my hectic work schedule to accommodate my needs. Very friendly and honest. They were Will to take the time to find the right bank to meet my payment and terms needed in order for me to make the purchase.

Unsatisfactory service . First oil change was wrong , as soon as I realized took it back had the proper oil . first oil change 5w30 it uses 0w30 which is full synthetic had to pay for it. Car has a 3year paint warranty on it i bought the car new , watched them take off protective plastic . well anyway the paint has cracked on the roof trim , the service manager said the car had been repainted it HAD NOT they would not fix the problem . Service manager would not talk to me he sent a young lady to tell me. DISGUSTED AND DISSATISFIED. Edit/update drove one hour and thirty minutes to Barboursville WV , KIA Service department was great , stated common issue would be no problem they are going to honor the warranty. I think some service people should read bulletins for the cars they sale and service. Repair Date 03/08/2022.

Just drove my 2019 Kia optima home, and it handles very well, at least for the 45 miles I had to go! The car is adequately roomy and the ride smooth. So far so good. As for the sales person, Donovan Kayne, I found him to be very personable, accommodating, and not pushy, which is something to be valued in the car salesman. Overall, my experience so far at this dealership has been very good.

Did a repair that ended up being completely covered as part of a recall. Ended up getting my car back twice as fast as was told and in great shape. I absolutely recommend this place for repairs.

Drove 8hrs to get the truck I wanted. The salesman, Dylan, was great to work with. We chatted on the phone a few times the day before and by the time I showed up the following day, financing and my trade in value were all sorted out. The quickest and most streamlined process I ve had purchasing a vehicle.
